"Bartering Chip Part 2":Far out of town where he was instructed to wait, Loki stood with Rangiku over his shoulder. He waited for his master to show. When Aizen appeared he nodded with a slight bow to him. Aizen smirked and walked toward him. "A job will executed, Cero." Aizen told him. Loki nodded as he watched his master open the gate.

As the gate opened Aizen's smirk grew. He was coming. He turned looking at Loki. "As soon as the gate opens you enter and close it behind you. Go to Las Noches. Nothing is to happen to the female. Make sure she is well cared for."
Loki nodded as he watched the gate continue to open.

The gate opened as soon as Ichimaru stepped in front of them. Loki smiled devilishly and darted into the gate as it closed behind him.
"I will take good care of her, Ichimaru. I promise."
The gate closed and Loki was gone.

Gin couldn't stop the frown that marred his grin, though it faded a moment later. "Don't you think it was overkill to take the one already wounded, Aizen-san?" he asked, nonchalant.

Aizen chuckled. "Her face was priceless when she saw me. She did not know if she wanted to run and hide or welcome me with open arms. She had been crying for some time. Did you deny her again?"

Gin chuckled, not specifically answering that question. "She's been troubled here," he stated. "With no memories, it's been difficult." He waved his hand. "Some may even regret having taken her back in such circumstances."
He paused. "Weren't you going to wait for me to find out those answers before you struck? Wasn't that what you ordered me to do at the attack in Las Noches?"

Aizen smirked. "Then why not leave her with me when we exchange items? You would rather have Rangiku anyway. Kita means nothing to you like she does to me. Bring her with you. I will take good care of her. It will be like you never left her side."
Aizen stepped toward him. "What do you say, old friend? The woman you love, for the unsealing of the Hougyoku, its return and your Pet?"

Gin could feel sweat trickling down the back of his neck as Aizen walked closer. He tilted his head, keeping his characteristic smirk on his face. "And what of the other task you sent me? Kita may adore me but I doubt she will like to see me dragging a prisoner with us if she returns at the same time I do?"

Aizen waved a hand and stopped walking toward him. He clenched the hand closed, his tone hard and forceful. "Give me Kita and the Hougyoku. I will give you Rangiku. Take her back to the fools and you do what you want. I will have what I need."
His eyes narrowed at Gin. "Return if you want. If not. You will not be missed. Not even by Kita. I will make her a clean slate once I have removed Sumi. You will be free of the burden she has made herself on you."

"Is that really necessary, Aizen-san?" Gin questioned lightly. "If you do that, who knows if she will survive Las Noches without anything to tie her down and a mere human?"

Aizen chuckled. "Do you care? Really? You care what happens to her?" His eyes narrowed again. "You have grown weak Ichimaru. I don't need a weak link. Bring me Kita with the Hougyoku and I will give you Rangiku." Aizen snapped his fingers as the gate started to open.
"There are no other deals. Do as I have told you. If I do not get both - Kita and the Hougyoku - you will not get Rangiku and I will kill her. I have no use for another weak link like yourself."
He stepped into the gate and looked back at Gin with a smirk. "Hurry old friend. Only one day."
The gate closed and Aizen was gone.

Gin lowered his head and stood still. His silver hair whipped around him as if it to deny the stillness of the lone figure on the countryside. His master had seen through it all this time.
"I don't need a weak link."
Gin had heard those words many, many times over the decades of serving Aizen. Each time it meant a choice. Will you do what is required or will you be killed? There was no escape once you joined him.
Kita's smiling face appeared in his head.
Damn.
As usual, his master was right.

"Earning her Zanpakuto's Name": (continued)
Karin followed Ichigo and the shopkeeper outside of the shop and then beyond as the two shupo'ed away. They stopped on the outskirts of the town and Kisuke pulled out a green box from his sleeve. It shimmered.
"There we go," he said, setting it down. He tapped it twice with his zanpakuto and it started to grow. Karin almost leapt backwards, but she was engulfed by its light before she could decide. Blinking, she looked around the area, everything covered in a green tint.
"Alright, was my field trip entering a box?" she asked, confused.
Kisuke adjusted his hat. "All will be clear in time, buttercup."
Karin raised her eyebrow at him.

"Basically the idea is for you to fight as many hollows for as long as you can. Neither me nor Kisuke will help you. This is your fight. Survive as long as you can," Ichigo explained briefly.
He turned to Kisuke, nodding in gesture for him to get ready to bait the hollows. |

Kisuke looked at Karin. "The idea here is to get your zanpakuto to take notice. We will start off with low level hollows and for every five you kill the next level will appear. Each level will get harder and harder for you." Kisuke released a wave of reiatsu calling them forth. Howling and screaming were heard from a distance.
"Good luck." Kisuke told her with a grin as him and Ichigo stood off to the sidelines.
