Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: RejectionEpisode 419 "Kinzo": (Continued) Isao appeared at the entrance of Koi's warehouse, his blade drawn. There was a smell on the air that immediately made his stomach turn and his head ache. He covered his nose and mouth with the sleeve of his haori. "Koi?" he called out. The warehouse was dark and filled with giant crates and boxes. Some of them were open. Isao ran a hand across a box that appeared as if it had been broken apart from the inside. A piece of orange cloth clung to one of it's splintered edges. "Koi..."
Quickly, Isao's eyes darted around the warehouse, stopping only when he found drops of blood on the floor. He walked over to look at it. He placed his finger to on of the drops of blood. Some drops of blood had already dried. Others...were not. The newer, still wet drops of blood, he followed to a door. A bright light shined around the door frame. Isao narrowed his eyes. Koi's power flared again. And then...someone else's.
"Koi!" Isao kicked the door in. Briefly blinded by the light that filled the room, Isao covered his face with his sleeve. The smell was worse in this room. "Koi!" As his eye's adjusted to the light, Isao looked around. What looked to have once been an all white room, was covered in blood. "Koi...?" Isao's voice trembled as he looked around. |

Koi appeared before her husband, bloodied and broken. Her blade was drawn and broken. "What are you doing here?" Her words were slurred and low. She couldn't look at her husband.
"Koi!" Isao dropped his zanpakuto and reached for his wife. He pulled her into him and held tightly. "Koi, what's-" He stepped back, still holding onto her arms. Arm...She was missing her left arm below the elbow. It looked as if it had been torn off. No...He looked at the open wound. Teeth marks. Bitten? "Koi...What's going on, love? What happened?"
"He won't die..." he stumbled through the three words as if they were too heavy to speak. "He won't die." Koi turned quickly, pressing her back to Isao's chest, and raised her broken blade. "

Isao looked in the direction Koi was pointing. There was nothing but a white, blood covered wall. But, he could still sense the second person or creature in the room. "Koi. That's enough." He wrapped one arm around her waist as he leaned over and picked up his zanpakuto. As he straightened himself, he nearly lost his footing. The floor offered no traction and the blood made it worse. He fell to one knee, Koi falling with him. But, he still held onto her.
"Koi..." Isao felt trapped where he knelt...He wanted to pick his wife up and run from whatever was lurking in the room. But, he was also terrified by what he could be leaving in that room. As a Captain, he could not leave it.
"Isao..." Koi turned and looked up at her husband. "You need to run..." she whined.
Isao looked down. Tears ran through the blood on her face. He's only ever seen her cry twice before this moment. The first was when she left him after being banished. The other was when Honzo had died. "I am not leaving here without you, Koi. But, you need to tell what this is. What are you fighting, love? What is it?!"
"Kinzo..."

Kinzo watched as the Shinigami's eyes went wide. He could not see Kinzo. He could only hear his breath...And only after he was inches from his ear. "Kinzo..." his words were spoken low and slowly. He voice like a harsh whisper.
Isao's eyes remained wide as he looked around. He couldn't see. He could barely hear it. "Koi...What is Kinzo?"
Koi trembled, still locked in Isao's grasp. "...Death..."
Koi's trembling stopped. "Koi?" He shook her in his arm. "No...Koi!" he shouted. "Koi!" Isao felt her body jerk. "...Koi?" Her leg straightened up as it felt as though something was pulling her away from him. "Hey...Hey..." He pulled back.
Kinzo looked to the Shinigami who still could not see him. He pulled on the woman's leg again. The man Shinigami pulled back. Kinzo grew frustrated. He wanted the woman. She was his after all she did to him. His. She was his.
For two weeks, the woman kept Kinzo in a cage. One she had designed just for him. One designed for his discomfort. The cage, he could not touch, was small during daylight hours - just wide and tall enough for Kinzo to stand in place. During night hours, the cage would shrink. Kinzo could only kneel in the dark. The woman only saw him when it was dark. She had better control for when she worked. It took the woman three night times to pry out all of Kinzo's crosses. She did it with a jagged dagger. She gave him no kind of relief. She hurt Kinzo. But, Kinzo did not protest the pain. He did not beg her to stop. He just waited and watched. And, in the secret place she kept him...He kept a secret of his own. He was changing.
Kinzo pulled on the woman's leg again. The man would not let go.

Isao fought whatever force was pulling at Koi's leg. Tears stung his face as he swung his zanpakuto in the air. "Stop it! Leave her alone!"
Kinzo would not let go. She was his. He opened his mouth, the solid mask of bone split at where the mouth would be.
There! Isao could finally see what it was that she had been fighting. Or, at least part of it. A mouth. A hollow's mouth. Isao whispered a Kido spell. He aimed at the mouth. Lightening struck, sending the hollow screaming and bounding toward the back of the room. Isao scrambled to his feet, Koi still in his arms. He shunpo'd, with the limp woman in his arms, to the wall behind him. The move put more than a few feet of distance between them and the hollow.

Kinzo growled beneath his mask. He licked his lips. He was bleeding. "You hurt Kinzo..."
Isao held his zanpakuto out in front of him. He couldn't see the hollow again. But, he heard it. He hurt it. That's what it said. "So, I hurt you. Give me a moment and I'll end your suffering." Isao sighed, letting go of his wife. She fell to the floor. "I'm sorry, love." he whispered. His mouth was dry. "I'm sorry, Koi."
"Koi." hissed Kinzo. "And, you? Who are you?"
"My name is Isao Zayasu. You're...Kinzo..."
Kinzo spoke clearly as he stood tall, as if the Shinigami could see him posturing. "Kinzo. I am Kinzo. We are pleased to meet you, Zayasu. Pleased to kill you."

I...We... Isao wiped his eyes free of his tears. He steeled himself before calling on his zanpakuto's power. "Burendo!" Isao took a deep breath, filling his lungs. "A pleasure to kill... Come and get me then!" Isao felt a sting in his chest. One that started small then spread throughout his body. He looked down, seeing nothing but blood seeping from his body. He still couldn't see the hollow. "What..."
Kinzo twisted his speared boney fist into the chest of the Shinigami. "Kinzo said-"
Despite the pain radiating through his body, Isao fought back. He reached out, grabbing at whatever it was in his chest. He let go, swinging his now blood covered hand around. The blood splattered gave some shape to the hollow. It didn't look like a normal hollow. As his powers allowed, Isao grabbed the hollow and let it phase through him. Now standing behind the hollow, Isao raised his blade again. But, his vision blurred and he fell to one knee. He placed a hand to the hole in his chest.

Kinzo turned to the Shinigami. "Blood...Not my blood." He did his best to wipe the blood from the white bone covering his body. "Not Kinzo's blood." His bone was stained. This angered Kinzo. "No!" Kinzo moved toward the Shinigami only to be struck in the face by something. Not by the man. The Shinigami didn't do it. Kinzo looked to his left, at the doorway. "Methuselah."
Methuselah drew back on the large black bow. The arrow whistled and rattled against the metal bow. He fired the arrow, striking the boy in the face. The bone covering the boy's face shattered on one side revealing the fragile face of the teenager beneath it. Methuselah fired his bow again. This arrow hitting its mark in the center of the boy's chest. The boy fell to the blood covered floor. He pulled back on his bow and aimed it at the boy laying on the ground. "Take them to Shiba." he yelled over his shoulder, as two men clad in all black entered the room. One went to the Captain. The other to the man's wife. "Hurry! They're barely alive!" The men disappeared.
"No!" shouted Kinzo. "They are mine!"
Methuselah fired his bow again. And again hitting his mark. This bow was not meant to waste blood. But to shatter bone. Methuselah constructed this bow specifically for Kinzo. The concussive force of the arrow's strike could do nothing more than shatter the boy's bone and slow him down. If he used this bow on any other hollow or Soul Reaper, it would cause severe injury. But, this was Kinzo. Methuselah looked to the boy. "You have done enough, Kinzo Kazuya. Stay down."
Kinzo laughed. The rest of the bone mask that had covered his face fell off. Now, the entirety of his face was visible. "Oh Methuselah. You've ruined Kinzo's mask."

"I have searched for you," said Methuselah, his voice as gruff as usual. But, in this moment, there seemed to be some disappointment. "And, now I find you here." He looked passed his bow at the body of the boy. "You removed your cross?""She took them." said Kinzo, motioning as if he were going to stand. "All of them. She took all of Kinzo's crosses.""Where are they?" He pushed his bow closer, daring the boy to stand. "Answer, Kinzo.""We don't know." Kinzo knew. "You'll have to ask the woman, if she's still alive." Kinzo knew where his crosses were. The woman had taken them while Kinzo was in the cage. From what he could sense, the woman buried them. He imagined they were next to the fat man he killed. Kinzo smiled. "Imai," Kinzo sniffed the air. "You smell like woman. Not Sadow, though. We know it's not Sadow."Methuselah groaned. "What...Do you know of Sadow, boy?" He tapped his index finger to the side of his bow, causing it to shift in form. The black bow turned silver with a black ornate design. The arrow turned black. "Where is Sadow?" he growled.
"Kinzo did with Sadow what he did with the arm of the dead woman." Kinzo laughed as he sat up and rose to his feet slowly. He pulled bone away from his body as he kept his gaze locked on his brother. "She was delicious." Kinzo grinned before clapping his hands together in laughter.Quickly, Mesthuselah's bow shifted back to it's black form. He fired, striking the boy in the head. The boy fell back to the floor, nearly unconscious. His eyes fluttered as he attempted to gather himself. Methuselah fired again, this time knocking the boy out. His bow shifted again, this time returning to its original form. "Place him in containment. You three," he pointed at three men with the hilt of his blade. "Find his crosses. The rest of you, secure this building and gather all you can that will tell me what went on here. I am going to Shiba's." Methuselah disappeared from the room.Moved
