"Happiness":(continued) Suigetsu heard the knock on the door and Kin's voice on the other side and quickly stood from her desk where she was looking over documents and reports. She smoothed down her mint green kimono and walked to the door, opening it to see Kin's smiling face on the other side. She smiled up at him and stepped aside so he could come in. "I thought I felt your reiatsu," she said as she wrapped her arms around his torso, hugging him tightly. "How have you been? I heard about this Robin Hood clan that's been pushing your buttons." She chuckled.

Closing the door behind him, Kin got a displeased look and grunted at the mention of the gang, "I come to talk about my enjoyable things." He returned her hug and kissed her forehead. "Our wedding." He looked down at her and smiled feeling her tense in his arms.
"What's wrong, my dear. Your still not not fretting over the location are you?"

Suigetsu frowned and brushed her hair back sheepishly, turning her gaze away. "Well... picking a location is difficult. I want it to be a good one. Something memorable, but also something the elders and the other clans aren't going to give us shit for. I'm... having a hard time picking between what I want and what is best."
Kin could not help and soft chuckle, "Suigetsu , my love. How many times do I have to tell you? 'Just pick a place'. If the old pompous windbags don't want to attend because of something as simple as location then they don't need to be there in the first place. In truth, all I need in attendance is the woman I love, family and close friends."
Suigetsu laughed and crossed her arms under her chest, tilting her head at Kin as she smirked at him. "Well if that's how you feel, then we could just run off and get hitched and be done with it. It would spare both of us the trouble of wearing fifty thousand layers of fabric." She looked down at the engagement ring Kin had given her when he proposed. She smiled warmly. "But no... as great as a simple wedding sounds, I think I would end up kicking myself if I didn't go through the whole traditional wedding thing. I'm only getting married once so I want it to be as memorable as possible."
She sighed and looked up at Kin. "I... I want to get married in Rukongai. In Hokuten, near that lake we always went to when we were young."

"Easy enough," Kin looked at her with his hands on her shoulders, "we are getting married next to the lake in Hokuten. It's a lovely area and I don't think anyone is going to have an issue with that. It's not Hanging Dog after all."
Suigetsu laughed and patted Kin's chest. "Don't worry. I don't think anyone would want to get married in Inuzuri. Maybe not even Rukia Kuchiki. And she's from there." She walked over to her desk and began putting away her papers. "So, should we head out and find something to do? I can take a break from my work."
"I would love that," Kin walked up behind her warping his arms around her from behind. He kissed her neck tenderly. "It's been a few days since we have hung out together as a couple." he kissed her neck again. "Work loves to get between us it seems."

"Well, that's to be expected when we're both the heads of our clans," Suigetsu smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, tilting her head so he could kiss her better. She closed her eyes and hummed softly. "But I don't think we would be too awfully missed if we disappeared for the rest of the day..." She pulled back slightly to smirk at him. "And the night."
"Well then," Kin pulled back slightly to look at her. "What do you say to taking in the festival. A lot of things to do. We can have our lunch and dinner there and close out the evening with the fireworks? Makino said the festival is fairly nice, and large this year." He kissed her forehead and smiled. "I guess they are going all out since this is the first one since the Takeover."
"Sounds great to me," Suigetsu grinned excitedly and pulled away to move over to her closet. "I'll put on one of my nice kimonos and we can head over."

Kin smiled with a nod and walked over to the balcony. "I will give you some privacy and wait out here on the balcony for you to finish."
"You know you don't have to," Suigetsu smiled as she pulled out a red kimono with white and gold chrysanthemums. "But if you want to, you're free to do as you want."
He only nodded, and walked out of the room, sliding the doors behind him. He looked out over the grounds waiting for Suigetsu to get ready.
It didn't take long for her to change. She was used to putting on the elaborate kimonos she had to wear for the stuffy galas and events she had to attend. A festival kimono was nothing compared to that. Once she was changed she opened the balcony doors to invite Kin back in. "Ready when you are."
Kin smiled as he turned and looked at Suigetsu, "You look lovely," he walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek. His hand then slid into hers and they made a path from her room, headed to the gate of the manor. "So should we let your family know, or are we going to just slip away like a couple of ninja?"

"We'll let them know, at least," Suigetsu nodded. She laughed and squeezed his hand. "That way they don't spend all day looking for me when I'm nowhere to be found."
Kin chuckled, "cannot be the kids we once were. They might become unhinged if we disappear like we did back then." He looked over at Suigetsu, "now those were the days. I can't remember a time that you, Ryuu and myself were off running around the whole day and no one was the wiser of where we were."
"Pretty sure I was the worst influence on you all," Suigetsu grinned as she took ahold of the doorknob. "I instigated a lot of it. I was usually the one to drag you all out with me. But I don't regret it a bit."

Kin leaned over and kissed the side of Suigetsu's head. "The best times of my life anyway. Cannot speak for Ryuu," Kin got a pondering look on his face, "but he seemed to have a lot of fun when he was out running with us."Suigetsu smiled brightly as they made their way out of her room and down the hall to Suisenro's room. She poked her head in quickly, seeing him at his desk as well writing in his journal. "Suisen-kun, Kin and I are heading out to the festival in Rukongai. We'll be back later." Suisenro turned and smiled at his sister and her fiance. "Don't have too much fun. I'd hate to have to send Hakuryuu-san out to find you two." Kin chuckled. "Promise to be dull and boring, Suisenro." He winked at his future brother in-law. "Don't wait up, we will be in late." They watched as Suisenro nodded then closed the door behind them. The two were off to spend their day at the festival. --END RP-- "Of Today"
