Hisagi shook his head and raised his hand at Yorusuke. "Now hold on a minute. Before you go ripping his head off, Renji's right about one thing. He didn't tell me initially. In fact, he didn't say that Fuu knew anything. I told him to tell me how she was mixed up in all this."
He looked over at Fuu from Yorusuke. "There's no reason for me to be out of the loop on this. I know you think it's dangerous, and it is, I agree, but I'm your lieutenant. You got put on leave over this. At least let me help with the damage control. I'm not just your superior so I can boss you around. It's my job to keep all of our division safe. You don't have to shoulder this alone. You can trust us. At the very least, trust me."

Izuru nodded firmly, looking Fuu's way as well. "Third Division is intelligence. It wouldn't be becoming of me as its lieutenant if I didn't know how to keep my mouth shut. You can trust me too."
He looked over at Renji. "And I'm sure Renji has no reason to tell anyone else. Right?"
Renji threw his hands up, narrowly missing the dishes in front of him. "Sure! Let's make me the fall guy even though Hisagi just confirmed he pressured me into telling him!"
Izuru gave a soft chuckle and shook his head. "Well, he's not head of the Seireitei Communication for nothing."

Fuu sighed, leaning back in her chair as she crossed her arms over her abdomen. Her storm-gray eyes swept over the four men seated around the table, their chatter silenced by her sudden change in demeanor. “Let me make something very clear to each of you sitting here,” she said, her voice calm but carrying an unmistakable edge.
She leaned forward, planting her forearms on the table, her gaze locking onto each of them in turn. “I know things about the four of you and what I don't know my zanpakuto can find out,” she said pointedly, her tone laced with quiet authority. “Things you wouldn’t want your captains—or worse, the public—to find out about.”
The room seemed to grow heavier as her words hung in the air, her intense gaze daring them to challenge her. “If I hear even one more word about information on the Masanobus getting leaked to anyone else—anyone—then I’ll make sure your deepest, darkest secrets are published in the next issue of the Seireitei Communication for all of Soul Society to read about.”
She leaned back again, her arms crossed once more as she allowed the warning to sink in. “Do I make myself clear?” Her voice remained steady, but her eyes carried the unmistakable promise that she meant every word.

Hisagi's eyebrows shot up into his hairline at Fuu's words. He looked to the other three. Izuru and Renji seemed to be amused and slightly concerned. Yorusuke looked exasperated. Hisagi let out a heavy sigh, shaking his head and running a hand through his hair.
"Look, Fuu. There's no need to make threats of blackmail to your superiors." He glanced at Yorusuke. "Well, three of your superiors." Hisagi looked back at Fuu, raising a hand to her apologetically. "We're not going to go shout this from the rooftops. We agree with you. This needs to go no further than this room. Now if you want me to apologize for forcing Renji's hand, then I apologize. I was concerned for your safety."

She gestured around the room, her voice firm. “Why do you think I have this apartment? The moment Captain put me on leave, I was no longer allowed to live in the Division 9 barracks. My ties to the military were cut. I don’t have the same protections you all do anymore.”
Her expression hardened, her gaze sharp as she leaned forward. “And I cannot stress this enough: if any of you so much as whisper a word about the Masanobus again, it won’t matter if I share your secrets. They will come for you. And then they will come for me.” Her voice dropped, the gravity of her words settling heavily in the room. “Because I lied to them. I told them no one else knew about the information I uncovered. They trusted me enough to take me at my word.”
Yorusuke’s eyes widened, and he leaned back slightly. “So… you really did go to the Koriyamas?”
Fuu’s gaze snapped to him, a serious, almost pained expression crossing her face. “Yes,” she said firmly. “I did. And now, my talents are being put to use by them. I work for the Koriyamas, Yorusuke. And I am under constant watch.” Her voice dropped, and she added with chilling finality, “And trust me, the people watching me are not just average Joes.”
Her words hung in the air like a heavy shroud, the weight of her warning impossible to ignore.

Renji shook his head, his eyebrows scrunching. "Now wait a minute. You were around when Suisenro Koriyama was captain, right? You really think he's gonna let his family have you assassinated? The guy's a big softie!"
He looked over to Hisagi for confirmation who nodded but with a shrug. Maybe the former captain had a tough side he had never seen before. "Being in Ninth Division has to get you some sort of cred with them, doesn't it?"

Fuu straightened in her seat, her voice steady but carrying an unmistakable weight. "Lord Suisenro might have been my captain, but he’s not the head of the Koriyama clan. Suigetsu-sama is--she’s the one who makes all the calls. And trust me, even if she doesn’t kill any of us, she has the power to have our memories erased.”
Her gaze swept around the table, pausing on each of them. “I don’t know about the rest of you, but my memories are precious. Every single one of them. And I have no intention of losing even one.”
Her words hung in the air, her resolve clear, and the gravity of the situation settling over the group like a heavy blanket.

Izuru let the silence continue for a while before he spoke up, speaking calmly. "We understand, Fuu. None of us want that," he shook his head. "We won't let this happen again. You have our word." He looked at the others. "Right?"
Renji nodded firmly. "Yeah. Mum's the word." He gave a pointed look at Hisagi. "No matter how much someone twists my arm."
Hisagi held up his hands defensively. "Scout's honor. Not another word."
Izuru didn't bother to look towards Yorusuke. He knew the answer from him already. He turned back to Fuu. "So. Anything we can do to help? Or would you rather we just butt out of it completely?"

Fuu let out a sigh, her tone steady but laced with a hint of regret. “I need all of you to focus on your jobs—keep following up on the Robin Hood group. That’s your priority right now.”
She paused, her gaze softening as she glanced at each of them. “I wish I could help you guys out, I really do. But any information I come across about the group has to go straight to the Koriyamas. That was one of the stipulations in this whole mess.”
Her expression tightened slightly, the frustration of her circumstances evident. “It’s not ideal, but it’s the reality we’re working with. Just… do your part and stay out of trouble.”

Yorusuke frowned, leaning back in his chair as he crossed his arms. “That’s messed up, Fuu. You’re stuck playing detective for the Koriyamas while we’re out here chasing shadows? Doesn’t seem fair to me.”
He shook his head, his brow furrowing in frustration. “We’re supposed to be a team. You shouldn’t have to handle this alone, and now you can’t even share what you know? How are we supposed to do our jobs when half the puzzle is going to the Koriyamas’?”
His voice softened slightly, a hint of concern slipping through. “You shouldn’t have to deal with this by yourself.”

Fuu sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose before looking back at Yorusuke and the others. “Listen, the Masanobus have nothing to do with the Robin Hood group. I’ve dug deep enough to know that much for certain. Not to mention, they clarified that fact the evening I went and talked to the Korimayas.”
She leaned forward, resting her arms on the table. “The Robin Hood group is operating on their own agenda, and whatever they’re doing, it’s not tied to the Koriyamas or their assassins. The Masanobus aren’t involved in their thievery. But the Koriyamas have me keeping a close eye on the situation, which means I am out trying to make contact with anyone that is involved with the group.”
Her tone softened slightly, but the firmness remained. “Your focus needs to stay on track with your jobs in the Gotei. Leave the rest to me—I will find this group.”

"We know you will, Fuu," Hisagi told her, nodding. He reached over and laid a hand on her forearm. "But don't forget that if you feel like you're getting in over your head that we're here to help. We understand the stakes you're in, but we're not completely useless," he chuckled with a shrug. "Let us help if we can and if it's safe to.""If things get too crazy and I know none of you will get into trouble I will seek your help, but for now...I just need you four to be my friends," she looked pointedly at the four, "and butt out." She looked at the food on the table growing cold. "Let's lay this to rest and eat. It's getting cold."Hisagi chuckled and began filling his bowl and plate with food. The others followed suit. "Don't have to tell us twice."
The group sat and ate their fill until they were bursting at the seams. Once dinner was finished the guys stayed to clean up while Fuu packed up leftovers for them to take home. -END- "Wecome Home"
