Kisuke was not surprised at all at seeing Vale. Adjusting his hat yet again he started to chuckle softly. "Well-- Tervaden, tell me. How is my brother doing these days?" Everything went silent with Kisuke's question.
"What's wrong?" Kisuke asked them. "Can't I have a brother?"

Vale shook his head, taking a step forward. "Let's get this straight right now. I have nothing to do with his return. I was in a cave in the Forest of Menos. Then, the next thing I know, I'm standing back to back with Aizen. Alister's there, along with Rena and the rest of the degenerates.'
"Rena?" questioned Kisuke.
"Azayaka," Vale answered. "I killed her, after Ichimaru killed Aizen. I guess Szayel found a way to put her back together."
The Captain Commander stepped forward, eyes narrowed as he looked to Vale. "And, what of Sada's attack and the attack on Soi Fon?"
"Fey, he's what got Soi Fon, I'm assuming. Fastest versus the fastest. Something like that. But, Sada...I didn't send him to the academy. I wouldn't visit that carnage on anyone."

As Shunsui fell silent, evaluating his responses, Juushiro stepped forward. “What are Fey’s powers, Vale? Soi Fon’s in a coma-like sleep. She alive, but only just. We don’t think the wounds we can see is the full scope of her injuries.”
Vale rubbed the back of his head. “Fey has dual blades. Keibatsu reflects an attack, not unlike your own Sougyo no Kotowari. Sabaki is similar to Yumiko’s power. It can copy anything after Fey has seen it once.”
“So she was hit by a mirror image of Suzemebachi,” Juushiro murmured.
“A probable conclusion.”
Juushiro nodded, half to himself, and turned to the window, calling a hell butterfly to send to Isane with that news and the wishes that she would keep Vale’s existence a secret for a little longer.
He turned back to the monitor as Shunsui addressed Kisuke again.

“Okay, let’s get this sorted out,” the Commander stated, looking at the laid-back shopkeeper and pointing his finger at him. “Since when (A) did you think Aizen was loose, and (B) when did you learn that the bastard was your brother? Don’t you think THAT was what you should be telling us, not someone wrecking the safe with an item they cannot use?!” Shunsui continued, voice exasperated.
Kisuke shrugged, nonplussed. “I figured the unfortunate relationship would be something that would come out on its own, and I was the one who started this little conversation. I would have gotten to it.”
“Why not immediately?” Shunsui growled.
“Well, he’s not on my doorstep, is he?” Kisuke responded. And then the monitor fizzed as a blur of silver grabbed up the shopkeeper by his robes.
Gin Ichimaru.
As the fox ripped into him, it was Shunsui’s turn to chuckle.

Gin was furious and a little unscrewed when he returned to shop after searching Karakura Town for any further signs from his nemesis. Blood was pouring down his shirt from any run-ins with hollows, be they lizards or a Menos on the edge of Karakura. Him being not pleased would be an understatement. And then to return to the shop only to hear Kisuke’s voice from the Command Center being lackadaisical about his return. Aizen’s. Not Vale’s. Aizen’s.
He lost it.
Gin grabbed the shopkeeper by the front of his robes and shoved him up against the nearest wall. “Tell me, when were you going to tell me that you suspected Aizen was on the loose and not the wolf Tervaden?” When?!”
Kisuke’s head rolled to the side as his body was pulled this way and that, his reaction a little slow due to the poison. “I’m sure I would have told you after this little meeting. How are the kids?”
“Fine,” Gin hissed, “and I killed any hollow I could get my hands on that didn’t have red hair.” He pulled Kisuke close, eyes wild and bright, rage, power, and fear pulsing through him. ‘While you were here making jokes, old man, Aizen dropped in on Kita’s workplace. He sent her flowers. Her favorite combination with a card, telling her to hurry back. He’s coming for her and Soji, and you’re sitting on your ass!” Gin threw him backwards.
He fell back against a chair. “I can’t lose them, Kisuke. I can’t,” he whispered. “Kita thinks she’s the weak one, but she’s wrong. And he just… slipped in.”
A moment later, he was back up, and his fist collided with a danku wall just before he could smash the monitor. He stumbled backwards, head whirling towards Kisuke.

Kisuke pulled at the front of his haori straightening it as he looked at Gin, his eyes then drifted to the monitor as Kyoraku watched the two of them. "I was getting to everything. When I saw Tervaden was still alive. The Espada and Aza--Rena was awake." He now looked at Gin. "My suspicions about Aizen became more vivid. I was not sure about anything until just moments ago. Now with what you are telling me I know."
He looked back to Kyoraku. "You need to check and see who it is they put in Aizen place, in his cell." Kisuke paused then sighed aloud as he adjusted his hat. "My gut tells me you are going to find a Strawberry in his bindings. Which means--"
Kisuke's head shook slightly. "We have an Espada in our midsts."
"Loki!!" Gin growled from between gritted teeth as he whirled facing the door to exit.
Kisuke quickly grabbed Gin by his shoulder as Gin turned on him again. Grabbing his arm and flipping him to his back before Gin's fist could connect, Kisuke had Gin on the floor under his foot as it rested to his neck. Kisuke hovered over him, slowly removing his foot as he looked at Gin from under his hat.
"I will not have you blowing anything out of the water until we know for sure." Kisuke pointed to a nearby chair. "Sit your ass down and wait until we have conformation on everything else."
Turning back to the monitor Kisuke looked to Kyoraku and Juushiro again. "As for the news of me and Aizen being related?" His hand slid under his hat, scratching his head. "I don't know how true this is. The God, Alister told me and Aizen both this news when I was holding Aizen here when he was Gary. They both then disappeared and Aizen was dumped on your doorstep." He gave Gin a side glance when he heard him move. "I wanted to talk to Sumi about this and find out if it was true, and if it was, I was going to get details; however, with everything going on, I have not had that chance."

Juushiro nodded. “Then, with this development, you need to talk to Sumi. And soon. Even if Alister has told us that he keeps his word…..” the captain paused, looking to Yumiko and Vale, “we know he will twist circumstances to his own uses. I wouldn’t put it past him to use facts the same way. But first," he paused, "we need to decide what to do with Loki, if he is, in fact, here."
Shunsui rubbed his chin. “And I would wager that Kisuke is right about our poor hero being a prisoner here.” He sighed and turned back to the monitor. “I will worry about freeing Strawberry. You deal with Loki.” He stroked his chin. “Hopefully, he's not too comfortable down there."
Juushiro frowned. "It hasn't been that long, has it?"
"I would wager after the attacks here, but I am not sure," the Commander replied. He looked to Vale, considering, and then back to the monitor. "We will have to check. Those bindings slowly pull you into your own oblivion."
Juushiro looked to Kisuke again as well. "There's another point worth considering. Do you think Aizen would take advantage of that placement to get at his daughter? Or would he leave her alone considering her age?"
Shunsui looked towards his friend. "You still haven't told her about Gary, have you?"
Juushiro shook his head. "Kisuke was finalizing some project in his lab that he said needed to be finished. He said we could talk to her after that." He looked to the shopkeeper once more.

Listening quietly, Gin also looked to Kisuke, who lowered his hat over his eyes.
“Don’t you worry your pretty heads about that,” the shopkeeper said, waving his hand. “That little project is all done, thanks to my goddess and some poor test subjects. I have protected at least one more member of our circle from Aizen’s douches. I mean, woops~ I wasn’t supposed to mention all that.” He lifted his hat, eyes dancing. “Must be the poison.”
Gin’s eyes narrowed, not appreciating the calm approach, but then snapped in fury as he made the connection. “You used Kita as a guinea pig?!” he snarled, leaping from his chair.
“Not as a guinea pig, really, more like a starred assistant,” Kisuke countered, waving his fan, and pushing Gin back into his seat. “And besides, nothing would have happened to her. She always had Sumi. I mean, she did most of the time.”
Gin had had it.
The fox sprang from his chair once more, knocking back against the wall with his hands outstretched to throttle and strangle the damned scientist he was stuck with. The one man he trusted as much as Kita. The only one he trusted with his son. But he would never stop experimenting!
“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING WITH HER?!” he hollered.
Kisuke chucked, one hand to his hat as he ducked, weaved, dodged and finally aimed a punch at the joint between the fox’s shoulder and collarbone, sending Gin backwards. When Gin rose again, intent on his goal, the damned shopkeeper whacked him over the head with his cane.
Gin growled. “Can you focus now, dunderbrain?”

"Focus?" Kisuke looked at him his hand on his hat and a wide smile across his lips. "I am always focused. Why do you think I can always out think you?" His look then went serious. "And my new found brother?"
He looked back to the group on the monitor. "I will take care of Loki and I will talk to Evita about Gary." His eyes then went strictly to Kyoraku. "Be careful when you go check in Aizen's cell. We are not sure what you will find there. To curb any doubt, have Captain Kotetsu do lab work on the Aizen you have there. If he is freed, he is roaming around, but staying silent and in the shadows. If not," he looked to Gin, "the flowers Kita got were from someone trying to set her off."
Kisuke looked back to the group in Soul Society as he looked pointedly at Vale in the background. "He is the only one that could get his hands on flowers of that combination this time of year and get them quickly."

Vale made a face and raised his hand up in denial. “I did no such thing,” he stated. “I’ve been pancaked enough by her to last a lifetime.”
Shunsui turned back to the monitor. He didn’t need to know that answer to proceed further. “Do you think you can handle one more item on our list of agenda?” he asked. Kisuke raised a brow in response, waiting. Shunsui pulled out a leaf of papers and opened the first document. He looked to Kisuke and then to Vale. He began to read.
“Vale Tervaden has here been tried from countless crimes against the Realms and has been deemed guilty, be it through a god’s hand or not. However, due to a god’s hand, taking his life would be unwise. Therefore, henceforth, he will banished from all realms of power, be it the soul realms or Hueco Mundo. If sighted in the other realms by a captain or other being of equal strength, he will be taken captive or killed, decision to be made by each individual. If captured, he will be taken to the eternal prison.
From now and until his death, Vale Tervaden is confined to a life in the human realm under the watchful eye of Kisuke Urahara, if he so allows it. He will never enter Soul Society again. Kisuke Urahara, as the expert on the gods, will have any and all decisions regarding his zanpakuto and any other limiters to Tervaden’s powers.
If Vale Tervaden returns to his path of destruction one more time, his life is forfeit. He will be thrown into the eternal prison, his life being saved only through his connection to a god.”
Shunsui looked up again. “Old friend, you have the best chance of saving or keeping Vale on our side and not becoming an agent of chaos again. Will you do what you can to sever his bond with Alister and be his guard and executioner if he returns to the dark once more?”

"No!" Shouted Vale. "No! His watching is what made..." Vale shook his head before slamming a fist into a nearby wall. "No! He does not watch me. He gets no say in my power. He does not touch zanpakuto. I will be keeping it!" He turned to looked at the three around him. "And, what makes you think I've chosen anyone's side? I want this god gone. Then, I just want to be left alone." Vale heard the faint sound of Yumiko sighing.
"There will be five exiled people in Karakura...And, I'm the only one being treated as if I am the only one who has done wrong. What next? Juushiro forbids you from seeing me? I have to move into that fucking shop again?! I won't be able to go anywhere without checking in?!"

The Commander growled and turned from the monitor, shunpo’ing towards Vale and pushing him up against the wall. “Listen here, mate, you knew you would be exiled from Soul Society, or you are not as bright as I believed you were. Vacanze was exiled by Aizen, not myself. Kisuke and Tessai have long been pardoned for their crimes and can act as an outpost for Soul Society if they so chose, hence the option of sending you there at all."
His fist around his robes clenched. "I am not just releasing you to go on your merry way. Ichimaru has a similar sentence over his head. Even if his chaos has some kind of pattern, you are both dangerous. Would you prefer I take your powers and seal you zanpakuto once more? I am letting you keep him because you started to show some remorse for your actions and there's a killer on the loose with a taste for your blood, but you will be locked up again if you can’t think of another solution besides having one man keeping tabs on you!"
Shunsui took a breath and released him, letting Yumiko return to his side. "If you want your leash extended - and truly enjoy your time with Yumiko- you need to prove yourself beyond giving up information. It will take action and time. Less time if Aizen appears soon. You want freedom, earn it. Running away did not earn that reward, not in the eye of most of your judges."

Kisuke sighed shaking his head as he watched the scene play out in front of him. He slowly looked to Gin as he too was thinking the same thing. "If I do this the three of you will have to move. It won't work with Vale being here with Kita." Kisuke told him quietly.
Gin did not look too pleased at the idea of this as Kisuke and he both looked to the monitor at the same time as Kyoraku turned to look at them. Adjusting his hat, Kisuke nodded.
"I will do it; but it might be best to hold on to him for a few days while we get things sorted out here first with living arrangements."

Yumiko opened her mouth to speak but Vale overrode her, stepping away from her to get close to the monitor. “I am NOT staying in Soul Society any longer waiting for someone to kill me and I am NOT staying at your shop,” he snapped, glaring at the monitor. “Let your snake stay there. At least Soji deserves the protection.”
Yumiko sighed, wishing he hadn’t built up so much rage, but recalling something Kita had said, she moved back to his side, taking his hand. It seemed to help because Vale took a breath before continuing with his rant.
“Take me to my place. I know it’s still around, and you’ve spied enough on me from there. Do it again. If I’m to be stuck somewhere, it’s going to be there. Oh, and I want my aeronite back.”
Yumiko looked to Kisuke. “Is that not possible?” she asked. “Kita feels the safest at the shop, and you can’t keep her out of the loop about Aizen’s possible reappearance. Once you tell her, she’s not going to be happy, either angry or depressed. It’s important she has her home, and moving would upset Sojiro more, too.”
Plus I don’t want Vale to get worse….

Gin snarled at Vale before turning to Kisuke, pulling him away from the monitor.
“Unfortunately, they have a point," he whispered. "Sojiro keeps bouncing back from this mess because he’s still here in the shop. Especially after the Gary/Aizen incident. He still had all of us, including Kenji and V-man. Even if Vale is a threat, I don’t want to rob that security from him." He looked towards the monitor again but kept his voice low "Send Yorusuke or Vacanze to the flower shop while we talk to Kita about what to do next tonight."
He paused. "Besides, keeping the wolf in Soul Society is inviting more Sada trouble over there. At least we have the Goddess. And an Angel, if need be.”
