Vacanze smiled warmly as she shared her memories with him. It reminded him of the first time they met in Las Noches. Though, he hated that that was they way they met, but in honesty he was glad. If they had never met he would still be at Aizen's side, or dead for his betrayal. It was because of her that he was no longer in that hell. He owed her far more than he could ever repay. One reason he vowed to always be at her service. It did not matter what it was, he was even willing to die for her.
He reached into his pocket grabbing the necklace then dangled it in front of her eyes as she looked out over Karakura. Slowly she sat up and reached for the necklace that dangled off his fingertips. Her eyes wide as she look at it.

Kita took the necklace from his fingers spreading it out over her hand. It was gorgeous. The crystals of various colors of green and the sparkling white that splintered through it was eye catching. Each crystal carved into small roses, one larger rose as the center piece. All with a cluster of smaller stone carved into tiny balls caged and placed at either end of the roses. The antique copper that wove around the roses and caged the balls traced the perfection of the petals of the roses and linked it all together added just the right touch of beauty to add to the perfection the crystals had already bestowed upon it.
"Vacanze. It's... It's beautiful. Thank you so much." She leaded over to him and gave him a tight hug.

Vacanze smiled hugging her back. "I am glad you like it. It was just something I put together in my downtime of looking for more of the Aeronite."
Kita tipped her head to the side and gave him an odd look. He knew what she was thinking and he was just as confused as she was as of why the Shopkeeper would want that crap around with Sumi living in the shop with them.
"Don't ask me. The only thing I can think is he wants it all destroyed or locked up for safe keeping. That way it can never be used against a Seraph in the future." Vacanze informed her of his thoughts.

Kita smiled, "that makes sense I guess, but I wonder where he will hide it if that is what he will do with it."
"I am sure in Soul Society. That would be the safest place to keep it under lock and key." Vacanze replied as he hlped Kita put the necklace on then turned to the scene spread out in front of them.
Kita sighed returning her look back out across town as well. "I would hate to think another as ruthless as Aizen would appear. Though Vale was not far behind him in that area when he had his memories."

Suddenly Ichigo and Karin appeared on the roof. "Damn! It's gone again," the substitute growled, shaking his soul phone.
Karin folded her arms. "Are you sure that thing's not broken? That's the third time you've lost track of it."
Ichigo scowled. "I'll go ask Kisuke. He's the one who repairs them." Noticing Kita, he waved. "You better not fall." He vanished.

As Vacanze stood helping Kita to her feet as well, Kita retorted to Ichigo. "I am not going to fall. I fall one time and everyone rides you for the rest of your life about it."
Vacanze laughed shaking his head as he looked to Karin which was still standing on the rooftop with them. "What's going on, Karin?" Suddenly Vacanze looked around feeling an odd presence. His eyes slowly narrowed as he quickly drew his blade.
He lunged toward Karin, pushing her out of the way as a wicked looking hollow appeared behind her.

Its skull was shaped like an elephant’s, equipped with large tusks and an even longer nose. Screaming a shrill cry at being denied its first prey, it looked towards Vacanze and swiped at him with large claws. At the same time, its eyes glowed and the trunk shot outwards, expanding and whipping out towards Kita.
A shield formed around Kita, blocking the elastic weapon, and flame erupted along its length as Karin stabbed it with Homura.
A moment later, she flew backwards as the nose swung up and around into her back.

Vacanze lurched at Karin catching her in his arms as the crazy looking hollow disappeared from their sight. He looked to Kita as he stood Karin to her feet making sure she was alright as well.
"Are you alright, Karin?" She nodded as they both looked Kita's way this time. She looked lost her hand drawn to her forehead as she looked down at her feet. Vacanze and Karin both went to her side.
"Kita are you alright?" He asked her resting his hand to her shoulder. She shook her head looking out over the town.

"Something is wrong," Kita told them, looking to Vacanze then Karin, which looked at her just as confused.
"What do you mean?" Vacanze asked her.
"That was not me." Kita told them.
"What do you mean it was not you?" Vacanze and Karin asked at the same time.
"I was not the one that put the shield up around me," Kita told them.

"What the heck does that mean?!" ichigo snapped, leaping onto the roof with Kisuke. He looked down at his soul phone and then back to his teacher. "Damn it, Kisuke, your technology is broken. The hollow's gone yet again!" His other hand clutched his sealed bladed. "It shouldn't be able to disappear like that."

Kita shook her head fear in her eyes. "I... I did not put that shield around me. Sumi had to do it. She was the one that saved me. I could not control her powers like I normally do."
Sumi then appeared to the group looking at Kisuke. "It seems the creature can somehow block the energy flow between us. When Kita tried to destroy the creature she could not call my my powers to do so."
"How in the hell can that be?!" Vacanze growled, "you're a Goddess. No mere hollow could do that!"
Kita took the hand of the upset Espada in hers and squeezed it gently. "Getting upset is not going to help this. I just need to get out of sight before it comes back."

Kisuke looked at Vacanze. He was right there was no way. Not unless it was one of the hollows Szayel got his hands on and did some sort of experiment on. He then looked to Kita and Sumi which was still very much visible to them.
"I want you to stay."
Everyone on the roof started to protest as Ichigo growled combing his fingers through his hair and spoke up. "If this idea of yours gets Kita hurt you're the one taking the ass beating from Ichimaru. NOT ME!"
Kisuke laughed and looked to Ichigo. "Nothing is going to happen to Kita. Sumi will make sure of it. I need to see this with my own eyes to figure out what's going on."

Ichigo growled again and pushed his soul phone into his pocket. "And what makes you so sure it's going to come back here?" he called out as he summoned Getsuga and crossed his blades. "That things has been leading us on a wild goose chase! And here, I thought it would be good practice for Karin...."

Just then Vacanze spun as Kisuke watched him. "There is your detector." Kisuke told Ichigo as he unsheathed Benihime. "Get ready." The group took their fighting stance as Vancanze spun pointing his blade behind them.
"LOOK OUT!!" Vancanze yelled as the hollow appeared swinging its huge trunk at Ichigo and Kisuke.
Kisuke jumped straight up as Ichigo went off to the hollows side. Both of them now over the top of them as it brought it mighty trunk down on top of the shop. Kisuke growled adjusting his hat.
"Damn it! I thought this crap was over with, with Aizen's death! GET AWAY FROM MY SHOP!!" Kisuke bellowed coming down on top of it with Benihime.

Ichigo chuckled at Kisuke’s rage and then choked as the creature caught Kisuke’s blade in between its claws and swung down at him with its free hand. Where he used to be as Kisuke shunpo’ed away. “Damn it! What is this thing?” he growled.
As it turned towards Karin after another futile fire attack, Ichigo’s eyes narrowed. “That’s enough out of you! Getsuga Jujisho!”
The burning white energy attack soared towards the enemy.
