"A Familiar Face":
Kita walked into the shop and looked around she had no idea where she was, She just knew she had to get out of there. As she looked around the room she spotted the front door and quickly went to it. She slide it open to find the outside world. Her eyes widened.
"The human realm?" She stepped down the stairs and out into the front of the shop.
Turning in circles she looked at everything around her. Until she turned facing the shop. "I know this place." She said softly. "I know this shop." She drew her hand to her head and looked to the ground. She was trying hard to remember, but nothing was coming to her. Why? Why couldn't she remember?

Izuru rushed through the shop seeing the door open. "SHIT!! Gin is going to kill me if she gets too far away!" He rushed through the door to see her standing out front. He sighed and walked out toward her.
"Kita?" Izuru spoke softly to her.

Vacanze tossed the unconscious bodies of two Soul Reapers to the ground. "If this is all they've got to protect you, then I might as well take you with me. I could do a hell of a lot better job protecting you than this."
Vacanze walked up to Kita, stepping over the Soul Reapers. "My gem. I've been looking for you. I assumed when I couldn't find you in Las Noches you had been taken in the raid on the palace." He caressed her cheek. "Are you well, Kita?" |

Kita looked quickly up seeing Vacanze she was a jumble of emotions. Sad, excited, scared, lost and above all relieved to see him. She quickly ran into his arms wrapping her arms around him.
"Vacnaze!" She cried for him. "I was so worried for you. I was scared they had killed you and no one would tell me anything about you." She looked up to him tears streaming down her cheeks.

Izuru's eyes widened. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Izuru exclaimed. "ARE YOU LOOKING TO GET KILLED, VACANZE!?"

Sensing the espada Kisuke and Hisagi darted out the door, Benihime drawn and readied. When he saw Kita in the arms of the red-headed espada he growled adjusting his hat and stepped toward them. His eyes narrowed seeing the two men on the ground behind the tall redhead.
Hisagi stood beside Kisuke waiting for any funny play on the espada's part.

Vacanze narrowed his eyes at the blonde as he held Kita against him. "Lower your voice Soul Reaper. I am not here to take her back. Her life is not in danger around me. I merely came to see if she was well." He then pulled out a small white box that was long and slim. "And to return some things of Kita's"
She took the box and opened the lid to find her hairpins and the pendant Vacanze made for her resting neatly inside. |

She dried her tears and smiled up at him giving him another hug. "Thank you. I thought I would never see these again either."
She lifted the pendent from the box asking Vacanze for assistance to put it on. He did so only to turn her back around and kiss her softly on the lips.
She returned his kiss and smiled brightly wrapping her arms around him again.

"I have one other thing." He pulled out another white box. This one was no bigger than a ring box. He handed that to her as well.

Kita's eyes lite up as she giggled softly and took the box. "I forgot all about that." She looked up at Vacanze again tip-toeing and kissing his cheek.

Kisuke looked to the espada and stepped forward. "You. Espada--"
"His name is Vacanze or Septima." Kita corrected Kisuke with a bite in her tone.
"Excuses me." Kisuke said slightly annoyed. "Vacanze? What is Aizen's condition? Do you know?"

"He is Sosuke Aizen," Vacanze said as if this should have been obvious to the shopkeeper already. "He is recovering well. However, the palace is in ruins. Everything above the fourth tower's canopy is destroyed." He tilted his head inquisitively. "And what of Gin Ichimaru. I have had yet to see him in the palace, which means, I'm assuming, he is the one who injured Lord Aizen."

Kisuke's jaw tightened as did his grip on Benihime's hilt, he looked at the espada.
"Why would you think Ichimaru had anything to do with trying to kill Sosuke? Maybe it was me that tried to kill him." He stepped forward again. "And what are you doing here?"
He could feel his rage building with hearing Aizen still lived. He waited for the esapdas answers.

Vacanze remained unintimidated by the Soul Reaper with the strange hat. "Because he has tried to kill him once before and failed. And where else would he go but here. Especially with Kita here. That snake sticks to Kita like disease in what humans call third world countries. As for why I'm here, that is none of your buisness, however I will ease your mind as a gesture of no ill will. I came to check on Kita and to return her belongings. Nothing more, nothing less. I may follow Aizen, but he does not control my mind or my feelings. Kita is special to me, and I will not settle for her being unhappy or unprotected. You managed to get her out of Las Noches. Now make sure she's doesn't end up back there. Humans nor Soul Reapers belong in Hueco Mundo. If I find her back there, I will take her away from there myself, and I will take her somewhere where NONE of you will find her--where she will be safe." |

Kita looked to Vacanze in shock when he said that, but no fear entered her eyes. Kisuke however was a different story. Benihime rose quickly to Vacanze's throat and Kisuke's eyes narrowed to near slits.
"Kita will be going nowhere. Especially with you. I don't care if she trust you with her life or not. She belongs here with us. With the people that love her and look at her as family. I will protect her with my last dying breath if I have to take her everywhere with me like Gin did. I will not allow you or anyone to take her from me again."
His words spoken with force and clarity and a truth that rang out loud.
