Kita titled her head with an unsure look on her face. "I am adjusting. It's only been a few hours." She reached up touching the pendant around her neck. "Though, I think a lot of my uncomfortableness was coming from not knowing and no one was answering my questions. Not even Master Gin. When Vacanze showed up one of biggest worries faded." She then bowed quickly. "Oh please forgive me Captain. I am Kita Miyamoto."
When she stood she started to blush. "I am sorry. I forgot. You already know me."

Juushiro chuckled and set his hand over hers. "There is no need to apologize, Kita. We hadn't been acquainted long," he reassured her gently. He set the watering can down and faced her. "I'd probably be one of the first you would forget."
Tsukiro scoffed. "No offense, Captain, but you're not an easy person to forget."
Juushiro luahged lightly. "Thank you for the compliment, Ashimitsu."
He smiled at Kita and continued. "You don't need to feel scared or uncomfortable. They have reasons for staying quiet about all the details of your past. Losing that much and getting it back all at once may be overwhelming. And sometimes... you don't need memories to keep the connections you have to people." He scratched the back of his head, looking away. "At least I would hope that's the case." He chuckled again. "The one truth you need to know, Kita, is that you were well-loved here."

Kita blushed again and smiled warmly at the captain. "I can feel that, and I have to admit its the most overwhelming part of being here. Everyone is walking on eggshells around me." She shook her head. "I don't think that is necessary."

"It's because we're worried of how you will react. We know how the Kita who knows us would react to our actions, but since you don't remember us, that becomes invalid." He petted her hair.
"You just need to show everyone that they don't need to worry about how you react to them. You're still the same. Get to know everyone again, and then we'll have no reason to walk on eggshells. It just takes time."

Kita smiled to Tsukiro. "I will try to remember that. There is just so much going on here. I guess I'm just use to being locked in my room alone or with Master Gin or Vacaneze. The most people I have been around at one time is about four or five. The most of a conversation I have ever had with a group is when Yumiko came to Master Gin's room for lunch." She looked to Juushiro then back at Tsukiro. "And that happened just an hour or so before the shopkeeper Kisuke and Hisagi came to the room."
With Yumiko's name Juushiro paled. Kita quickly reached for him catching his arm. "Capatin?! Are you alright?!"

"I..." Juushiro halted and looked away, not wanting to distress Kita further. His heart clenched and a tightness hardened in his lungs. The captain closed his eyes and tried to calm down. He had to.
After a few moments, he turned back to Kita, who was still holding his arm. "I'm alright, Kita," he murmured with a different smile. Some of the weariness showed in his strong green eyes as he continued. "I reacted to that name because I have not seen Yumiko in a long time. Would you mind telling me more?"

Kita shook her head. "You know you're a terrible liar, Captain." She smiled kindly at him hoping that what she said did not offend him. "I will tell you everything you want to know, but only if you come inside and sit down. Have a nice cup of tea and relax."

Juushiro chuckled quietly and nodded. "I suppose that would be a good idea," he acquiesced, turning to head back inside with her. "I can do the gardening afterwards. It might prove a good distraction," he continued in what he hoped was a lighter voice. Moved |

"Taking the Risk and Opening Eyes":Kisuke walked quickly from his lab into the shop seeing Hisagi and Izuru standing around talking. He looked around not seeing the person he was needing. He looked back to the boys.
"Izuru, be a good lad and run find Kita for me?"
Izuru nodded and took off looking for her. When they returned Kita was at his side."As you asked. Here she is." Izuru told him.

Kita looked to Kisuke tilting her head. "You wanted to see me, Urahara?"
"Kisuke. Call me Kisuke. You always use to call me Kisuke." He told her.
Kita giggled. "Alright then, Kisuke. You wanted to see me?"

He smiled warmly at her adjusting his hat. "Yes, I did." He extended his hand to her. "I need you in my lab. I need to go a little further then what Ichimaru has gone on his notes, and since I can't take that choker off you. I am going to have to bring you into the lab."

Kita took his hand as he pulled her toward him gently. "Master Gin gave you notes about my choker?"
Kisuke nodded still wearing the same smile. She was a little confused. She thought the choker was the Espada Szayel's creation.
"But how did Master Gin get notes on my choker?"

Kisuke closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he turned back to Kita. He stepped up to Kita taking her face in his hands looking into her eyes. "Gin. Kita. His name is Gin to you. It always has been and that is how it should remain. Please, just Gin."
"But..."
Kisuke shook his head. "Just Gin. No more Master. Not here."
Kita sighed as he released her taking her hand again. "Come on. Let's get this taken care of so we can get that choker off you and get your memories back." He walked her toward the lab door.

Kisuke chuckled softly and stopped in front of the lab door. "Of course not. I would never hurt my girl." He leaned toward her and kissed her cheek gently. "Though you might want to wave to the ones here. You might not see them for a couple of days." He looked to the boys as they still stood there. "I have a bad habit of going into my lab, locking the door and not emerging for a while."
The two nodded with knowing eyes.
