Kita looked into Vale's eyes and nodded slowly. "I am sorry I brought it up. But there is always the human realm. Kisuke calls it the 'Land of The Misfits'."
She giggled softly. "I guess its true. Because only in the human realm you can find all types of colorful people."

He laughed, nearly choking on the cookie. "I think I am fine where I am, Kita. A realm of misfits is what were have here. It's makes very little sense to move from one to another." He looked away from her. "Besides, I rather like the challenge of being here."

Picking up a cookie Kita took a bite when she finally realized something. She looked to Vale with questioning eyes. "Is it me or is Yumiko's reiatsu not present today?"
"She has dared to leave Las Noches into the human realm." Sumi told Kita.
Kita shot up from the table like a someone sent a shock of electricity through her. The chair she was sitting in fell back to the floor with a loud thud. "Why?"
Vale looked to her then back to the table as he rubbed his temple. "You really need to stop talking to yourself, Kita."
Kita paid no mind to him as Sumi explained. "She is looking for answers. What you told her a month ago still weighs heavy on her mind."
"I have to go get her! If Aizen finds out we all have had it!" Kita expressed as she turned to walk from the kitchen.
Vale looked to her again his eyes now questioning.

"You're one person, Kita." he finally said. He stood and walked quickly behind her. "What are you going to do, should Aizen get to her before you? He sees you there and your punishment would be more severe than if he retrieved her himself." Vale grabbed Kita by her arm as she headed for the door. "Kita! Going to the Human Realm will either save Yumiko or kill Gin. Think! Which is more important to you?"

Kita froze in place with Vale's last statement. "Gin." She turned quickly and looked at Vale. "Gin is, hands down its Gin. But I can't let Yumiko suffer or anyway else for planting the thought that I did in Yumiko's head. If Aizen finds out it was me we are all dead anyway."
She pulled away from Vale. "So what does it matter?"
"Kita?" Sumi said appearing beside them.
Vale stumbled back slightly as he looked to Sumi.
"What?" Kita replied looking from Vale to Sumi.
"Let me prepare Ichimaru for this move just in case something goes wrong." Sumi told her.
"So you want me to wait until you're done talking to Gin? That could take too long! And if you tell him what I am going to do he is going to tell you to stop me! You know he will!"
Sumi shook her head as she started to fade from their sight. "It will only take a minute of our time."
"SUMI!" Kita yelled reaching for her, but she was gone.

Vale's face twisted in confusion. "Well? Risk his life to save hers? Or, stay here knowing that Aizen will bring her back anyway?" He stepped away from Kita. "I am your keeper. Your friend. If you go..."

"If I go I go with Sumi. I will be safe as will Yumiko. Aizen won't dare try to stand against Sumi he is far from stupid. He knows she out powers him greatly." Kita turned and took a set on the couch waiting for Sumi to return to her.
"Now we just wait for her to come back from talking to Gin."

It was not long and Sumi reappeared back in the room. She looked to Kita which stood quickly from the couch.
"Is he alright?" The first thing that came from her lips.
Sumi chuckled softly and nodded. "He is fine and he said go to her and bring her back. But to be careful."
Kita nodded and looked to Vale. "Are you going or staying behind?"

Vale sat beside Kita and waited. After a few moments he began to laugh. "You're annoying." he said before his face turned serious. "But, I am with you. To make sure you're safe...So, don't think its because I have taken a liking to you. I am not fond of nice things, remember?"

Kita giggled and looked to Vale. "Yeah yeah..." she replied and stepped toward the door. "Lets go then we don't know how much time we have."
Vale nodded and rose from the couch following Kita out into the hall. Once there she looked to Vale and took his hand in hers. "You have to be connected with my energy or you to will be frozen in time. Once we are in the gate you can let go, but not until then."
Vale nodded and held on to her hand firmly but gently as he watched her open the gate.

"A Dormant Goddess":
Starrk walked in the door behind Kita after putting her down so she could open the door. Her refusal to give him the keycode to open the door himself wore on his last nerve. The whole ordeal of the day wore on his last nerve. Now that is was over he just wanted to find a nice quiet place to sit, relax and maybe even fall asleep. However, that was not happening. Not with orders to keep an eye on Kita and making sure she did not leave the room. He closed the door behind them as it closed with a heavy snap engaging the lock once more. Starrk turned looking at the door then back into the main room. It was silent and the atmosphere felt almost dead, heavy. They were alone-or that is at least what it felt like after the door closed locking them in the room. Starrk looked to his right seeing Gin's console shaking his head. "A regular fortress he has here." He looked around the room still talking. "Shut off from everything outside the door. You could do or say whatever you wanted in here and no one would be any the wiser." His eyes stopped on Kita when she turned to look at him. "No wonder you like staying in here."

"I am safe in here. Unless you have a keycode and Gin changed the master code so not even Aizen can get in here. He would have to take out the wall." She turned and walked toward the kitchen to clean up the mess that was left behind from when she and Vale so abruptly left to go get Yumiko.
Starrk followed standing in the archway between the two rooms. Looking at him after she picked up the cups she turned and walked to the sink depositing the dishes there. "Are you hungry?" She asked him turning on the water to do the small amount she had in the sink. "It's no bother to cook something if you are."

Starrk chuckled softly. "A totally different person now are we?" He walked over and sat down at the table. "So. Where is the Goddess? I thought for sure I would get more of a fight from you then this."
Kita turned from her dishes and looked at him with slightly narrowed eyes then went back to what she was doing. Starrk chuckled again. "Your very faithful to your Master aren't you? He barks and you jump. I wonder how long this will last?"

"It will last as long as needed and to your other question. The Goddess is staying silent right now." Kita rinsed the dishes setting them on the counter to dry. She walked over grabbing a dish cloth and walked back over to the wet dishes.
"You never answered my question. Are you hungry?" Her back was to Starrk as she spoke to him.
Her head then tilted as she remembered something, turning slowly she looked to Starrk. "Don't you have a counterpart?"

Starrk chuckled lightly. "A counterpart? Yeah." He combed his gloved fingers through his wavy brown hair. "Lilynette. I am sure she is wondering where I ran off to with my reiatsu disappearing again."
He looked to Kita and smiled slightly at her. "Come to think of it I am a little hungry. What do you have in the way of food."
Starrk looked at her with hungry eyes.
