A sudden flare of reiatsu had Kisuke dodging the long reach of Shinsou as Gin appeared on the training grounds. Gin retracted the blade, eyes like crystals. “Apparently Aizen-san needs a little gift,” he purred, angling his blade towards the shopkeeper. “I think your head will work quite well for such an occasion, as well as work out some … frustrations,” the snake hissed.
Kita belonged to him but now she was gone. That pissed him off more than anything. He would get her back.

"So they told you did they?" Kisuke questioned as he stood a few yards in front of Gin. "Did they tell you Aizen had her try to kill you?"
Shunpoing forward Kisuke crossed swords with Gin putting them face to face. "Does that piss you off? Does it piss you off that Aizen took your pet." He shoved Gin back and pointed Benihime at him. "Well get used to it. Because all you two have done for centuries. IS PISS ME OFF!"
Kisuke lunged at Gin putting him on the defense. Their swords clashing in the silence of the training field. "Tell me, Ichimaru. Do you even remember the last thing you and Kita did together?"
Kisuke's eyes narrowed as Gin smirked with a soft chuckle. Dreading to hear Gin's memories of Kita since he turned dark, but he had to get him to open that mind and remember the woman he cares for and loved.

“I remember us tearing our clothes off because she couldn’t get enough of me before Aizen’s little trick took effect.” He grinned. “I think the child actually made her more obedient and amorous.” He leaped forward, crossing blades with Kisuke’s own and smiled wickedly. “Maybe I’ll make a second runt after this one.”
"Sojiro is not a runt," Kisuke growled pushing him backward, "he's your SON!" He shunpo'ed forward, crossing blades again. "But then again, you don't care about the importance of that sentence, do you?"
Gin's eyes blazed and he snarled, breaking free of Kisuke's sword and coming back with a flurry of lightning-precision cuts, slicing his cheek, arm, and hand, infuriated by the audacity of this man. Questioning his business. "He's mine. That's all that matters, shopkeeper!"

Kisuke's eyes narrowed at Gin's last memory of Kita. "Not if I have my way. Sojiro will never know his sperm donor." Kisuke growled lunging at the snake again. The sound of cold steal echoed again as their blades clashed again and yet again. "So what you're trying to tell me is she means nothing to you. Just like the others in your life?"
Gin's face contorted with more rage as he shoved Kisuke back from him. Kisuke slid back and looked at the man before him. "The darkness and Aizen means more to you than any one person. Even your own child, and you talk about creating another life? You. Of all people knows what the shadows do to a person." He lunged at Gin, Benihime coming up slicing into Gin's left arm and then catching his right cheek.
Their blades clashed again as the snake blocked Kisuke's next attack.

“Shut. Up,” Gin growled, eyes flashing as his rage continued to grow exponentially. “You know nothing of the shadows, you who always put yourself above the choices of right and wrong from the beginning. What would you know?” he hissed.
He kicked the shopkeeper from him and looked down at his arm. As Kisuke quickly got back to his feet, Gin unleashed Shinsou and licked his arm. “You don’t know the freedom there. You don’t know what it gave me after being abandoned by the world. And you don’t know how easy it is to possess what you want!” He sent Shinsou flying towards Kisuke. “The girl is mine and so is the child. I won't lose them!"

Kisuke slid to a stop as he dodged Shinsou's attack once more. He started to chuckled as he looked at Gin. "Your right. I don't know, and I don't want to ever find out. But everything you acquired you have done it through force. You're no better than the people that bullied you." He pointed Benihime at him. "You forced Kita to be yours. She did not have a choice in the matter and now she bears your child. A child I am sure she never wanted. She had a life here with us and Tsukiro and because of you and your Master she has lost Tsukiro." He narrowed his eyes more at the snake. "A man that loved her more than you could ever fathom."
"You destroyed what they had. Just like you destroyed the life of the first woman that loved you and the kid that looked up at you." Kisuke lunged toward Gin crossing swords with him again. "Kita gave you a chance. She never judged you. She was a true friend to you and you destroyed that. You took her freedom, her friends, her life! If you call the darkness right," Kisuke shoved Gin back as he fell to his ass as he pointed Benihime at him again. "I'll stay on the side of the light and continue to do away with anyone that wants to follow the darkness, and I will never let you get your hands on Kita's son to make him like you. NEVER!"
Kisuke went at Gin again as he rolled out of the way of his attack.

Gin cried out in wordless fury, his eyes nearly white as he called up the Goddess’ power to tear up the land around them before dismissing it again. It would be by his own powers he would destroy this man. Shinsou weaved in and out of the debris, hunting for the shopkeeper. “I think I will cut you up, shopkeeper, and feed a piece of you to Ke- Yoruichi.” He covered his eyes ..... and then grinned maliciously. “You can’t run or hide forever, and I will have you.” His reiatsu gathered around him, causing the ground to hum beneath him, echoing his boundless rage. “You and your lies.”
"Bankai!”
Shinsou ripped through the landscape of boulders and debris, revealing Kisuke. Gin’s eyes narrowed. “Massacre you and it’s over.” He swung Shinsou forward again, feeling relief somewhere inside him that soon it would be over.
No one will be able to question me.... anymore...
I will be alone...

Kisuke only grinned as he looked at Gin. He was getting to him. "Did I hit a nerve, Snake?" He did not give Gin a chance to answer as he evaded Shinsou's next attack. In a flash of shunpo Kisuke appeared behind Gin on one of the unearthed boulders Shinsou ripped from the ground. Gin spun quickly on his heels to face him.
"Kita loves you and from what she told me you love her. You don't want to lose her. You don't want to lose that warm light and the feeling you belong. You were pulled back into the darkness because you feared loosing that. You ran off to kill Aizen to protect her. To protect your child." He pointed Benihime at him again. "And because you feared that so much you let your soul retreat into the very place you were trying to avoid." Kisuke sprung forward his sword above his head.
"AND NOW! AGAIN! AIZEN HAS KITA!"
Their swords clashed with great force, sparks flying around them as their blades ground against one another. "If you only trusted in her like she trusted in you," Kisuke growled as he pushed back against Gin's blade. Kisuke drew back a clenched fist and thrust it at Gin's jaw. The snake rolled a few feet from Kisuke then stopped, pushing himself up. "If you were not such a chicken shit. We would not be in this mess right now."

Gin didn’t reply immediately, just released his Bankai, slicing into Kisuke’s leg, arm, and side. His eyes bled to crimson. “I won’t kill you quickly, shopkeeper,” he hissed. “This is all your fault. You’re the one who took in the mutinous snake. If someone in your life paid the price, it’s your fault. Kita should have stayed away. I warned her many times.” He shrugged. “But now it’s too late. She won’t survive without me. If you're upset about that, pay the price!"
He aimed his sword again. "And Aizen will give her back!"

Kisuke stumbled back. "I guess it all comes down to this then."
He leveled his sword in front of him. "Bankai--"
Gin's eyes widened. In all the years he had known the shopkeeper he had never known the man to call on his bankai. He knew with being a former Captain of the twelfth he had one, but in all the centuries he had never seen it.
"Bloody Rain."
There was a few seconds of silence as the snake looked above. Thousands of needle like rain were falling toward him. Kisuke danced back as a few hit too close to his feet. He looked at Gin as he tried to dodge the blood red needles. One stabbing into Gin's foot. Another catching the hand of his sword arm. He leaped and dodged only to find himself getting stabbed over and over again. Luckily only the Snakes torso, arms, back and a shoulder had suffer the attack.
"If you think you are going to get back in with Aizen after what happened here tonight, you're insane. Aizen wants you dead. Not back at his side. Your usefulness has ended. There is only one way you are going to save Kita now."

“What?” the snake sneered. “Join your side and lose again?” He launched himself forward before stumbling, dropping his sword, and falling over, each body part hit by the shopkeeper’s rain numb and unfeeling. “What the HELL did you to me, you BASTARD?!” He angled his head up to look at the standing shopkeeper. “FUCK YOU! Next time, I will use my Bankai properly. I will destroy you from the inside out.
Silence fell for a few moments. "I will get up." Gin's hands clenched. "I will get to her and I will convince Aizen that I.... I am still useful." His eyes narrowed behind his bloody bangs. "I belong there. He said so."

Kisuke looked down at Gin shaking his head a slight smirk across his lips. "But why? Why would you want such a burden in your life, Ichimaru? You said yourself she should have stayed away. Why would you chase after or even claim her as your own when you don't even want her around. A burden is what I have heard you call her. An annoyance. A pain in your ass. But you still cling to her like she is life. You have no use for her."
Kisuke turned from Gin and looked out across the mess of his training grounds. He shook his head combing his fingers through his hair. "What that girl saw in you when she first laid eyes on you I will never know. She befriended you. Never judged you once. Trusted you with her life, and in time she fell in love with you. Now she carries your son. A son she cherishes as much as she cherishes you."
He shook his head again and glanced over his shoulder at Gin. "She stood by your side in this war knowing your past and knowing she could lose her life, but she fought with. She stayed with you." He turned back and looked at Gin his head shaking again.
"And this is how you repay her? Running back to serve the very man you hate and want dead just as much as the rest of us?" He paused with a heavy sigh. "It's sad, but Kita has more balls than you. At least she faces things, she doesn't run and hide at the first sign of fear. You would have been proud of her standing against Aizen a few hours ago. He threatened your life by her hand and she broke his power over her and protected you when you could not." His hand lifted combing through his hair again. "Let her go Gin or finally stand up and be the man she knows you to be."

“NEVER!!!” Gin screamed, struggling against the spreading numbness in his body. “WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?! Use some fucking sort of poison? STOP TALKING LIKE YOU KNOW US!! I will get up! I will get them back. Stop. Talking.” His body began to shake under the weight of his anger. “She’s mine. That’s all that matters. She’s mine! Judging…. the chain of trust.....friendship…. the lie in love…. it doesn’t matter. She’s all …. She’s mine! War…. past…. others….. it doesn’t matter." His voice slurred then grew strong again, eyes fierce beneath his bangs. "She chose me! She will live by her decision!” he yelled. “Kita. Is. MINE!!!!!!”

Kisuke could not help but chuckle at Gin. "Such denial. I can say one thing for you. You are one hardheaded son of a bitch." He finally sat down in front of Gin, legs crossed. He propped his elbow to his leg his chin to his hand and looked at Gin with a goofy smile.
"No one else matters right now, Ichimaru. Its just you, me and the lovely young lady named Kita. Along with your unborn son. Which is in danger right now because you flipped the fuck out. The past is just that, the past, one thing I have learned over the centuries. Don't dwell on it-- We lived it. We learn by it--" he cocked his head and poked Gin with his cane. "At least some of us do."
Gin growled and tried to move away from his cane. Kisuke chuckled again.
"Open your eyes Ichimaru. No. Not just your eyes. That cold black heart that Kita was able to penetrate. You can feel her there can't you? That's what scares you more than anything in this world. You're afraid if you let her in completely, you will hurt her. You will lose her." He shook his head again. "Too late for that bud. She is hooked. She ain't going anywhere. She would follow you to the deepest darkest parts of the underworld if you would let her, and those are her words." He informed Gin.
Kisuke cocked his head in thought rubbing his chin. "Of course in the mind frame you're in now, you would let her, but before you were scared of the darkness even getting close to her. What was that you told me when you brought her back here after her attack on Las Noches?"
Kisuke went back into thought, hoping maybe Gin would tell him if he procrastinated long enough.

Gin shrugged as best he could from his position on the ground. “I don’t know what you’ve been drinking, shopkeeper. Something in your lab? I brought her here after she attacked Las Noches because she is no … use to me dead or comatose. Really, there's nothing …..” his words faded away. “And in case you have missed out, the girl has gone through hell already. Following me to Las Noches….” he chuckled but couldn’t quite grin, “she's had all sorts of adventures. She’ll give you …. nightmares.” He fell silent. Again.
And then clenched both his hands, struggling against the numbness in his body with his reiatsu. “I don’t know what you’re doing," Gin seethed. "Messing with my head and my body! Why don’t you just finish whatever it is you’re up to so I can move again?” His eyes flared. “NOW, YOU DUMB HAT-N-CLOGS! Leave me ALONE!”
