"Taking Back Control":"(continued)Yoruichi, Hisagi, and Shinji, already in his arrancar form, waited in the Underground Training Facility. Hisagi paced, Shinji tossed his sword around, and Yoruichi tapped her fingers along her arm. Then Kisuke appeared with Juushiro and Tessai. Tessai nodded to his boss and went to one side of the quiet gate.
Kisuke turned to Juushiro. "You're sure you can perform this now?" Juushiro chuckled. "I'll be fine. I am not going into the main war, and the gate will be open twice as fast if I aid Tessai. I am not taking no for an answer here, friend." Kisuke nodded and the captain walked over to the opposite side of the door. "Get ready to go through as soon as this is open." Both Tessai and Juushiro started chanting.

Kisuke walked over joining the others looking at each one. He tossed his hat to Byakuya. "Take care of that for me while I am gone, and don't let me find out you were wearing it." Kisuke chuckled and turned back to his group. "In and out."
They all nodded as they watched the gate form and start to open.

Shinji grinned like a shark and produced the vial stabbing his left arm. He grunted as the formula started to slip into his boy like acid. "It's too bad I am not going to be there to see Sousuke's face when he has to fend off a hoard of his own creatures from devouring either himself or," he dropped the empty vial and flexed his arm as his blood vessels began to turn a nasty green along his arm, "that nasty daughter of his."
Hisagi frowned. "I thought that wasn't supposed to hurt you."
Shinji laughed. "He said I would be immune to its effects. The crook never said it wouldn't sting like hell itself." He laughed. "It's firing me up."

Yoruichi turned to Kisuke. "Who's going after who? Or are we all moving as a unit? Do you want us all going after Kita, or split up and try and look for the others while one of us get Kita?"

Kisuke looked to Yoruichi cupping her cheek and kissing her lips softly when he pulled back he told her. "Let me worry about that. When we get there and get a feel for everything. I will inform everyone what to do."
He looked to his group again as he slowly concealed his energy. "Everyone, reiatsu concealed."
They did as he said and the four of them darted through the gate.Continued

"Victory or Defeat? The Return Home":Juushiro and the others waited anticipating the groups return. Who was rescued and who was left behind? Who that left here walking and breathing may not return or return fatally injured? The gate was open, now all they had to do was wait for them to walk through on their side. Juushiro closed his eyes lowering his head after about five minutes of the gate being opened. Only a few more minutes and they would have to close the gate in fear of something other than Kisuke and his group walking through it to their realm. Time ticked away and hearts started to sink. It was time Tessai looked to Juushiro as they both nodded in unison. As they proceed to close the gate. Hisagi flew through the gate in a tuck and roll and stood up."Their right behind me! Don't close it!" Sighes of relief echoed around them as Yoruichi with Tsukiro over her shoulder and a limping Shinji followed next. As soon as Shinji made it through he fell to his hands and knees and started retching.Izuru was next and to their surprise Gin; Kisuke with Kita over his shoulder exited right behind Izuru.
"Close it!" Kisuke called out looking at Tessai and Juushiro.
The gate closed quickly as Kisuke walked over to Byakuya and took his hat back. "Thanks for holding it for me." He grinned widely and looked at Gin. "You surprised me back there, thank you." He offered a hand to him as Gin looked at it. "We're not in the clear yet. Don't be thankin' me yet."

"Still," Yoruichi sighed as she plopped down on the ground and laid Tsukiro's head in her lap. "If you hadn't done what you did, Aizen would have had our asses. So good job back there."
Yoruichi looked down at Tsukiro. "Jeez. What the hell were they feeding him? Were they trying to feed him to death? I'm going to have to give him a serious workout later." |

"Whatever you say."
For a moment, Gin's eyes flashed maliciously, then he sighed and waved his hand. "Whisper liked his body. That's about all I know when it comes down to what happened to your brat. I had my hands full keeping an eye on the plans for Kita."
Sheathing Shinsou, he walked over to Kisuke and started lifting her into his arms.
"Hey, don't take her away yet," Kisuke protested.
Gin fixed his cold eyes on the shopkeeper. "She doesn't remember you, and if the yelling echoing in my head is anything to go by, she could wake up and fear you almost as much as she does Aizen-san."
Kisuke growled a curse and stopped fighting him.
Izuru glared him. "You didn't have to say it that way."
Stroking Kita's head, Gin ignored him and sat down. "If Inoue is around, Kita could use some healing. The seraph can't heal her as long as this choker is on." He looked over to the brooding shopkeeper. "That's your department, Hat-n-Clogs," he hissed.

Juushiro came over and offered Shinji a hand, listening to the information exchanged. When the captain waved him away, he walked over and set a hand on Kisuke's shoulder. Looking back at Gin, his eyes narrowed. "Why has she forgotten?"

"What do you mean my department?" Kisuke kneeled down and touched the choker. Gin quickly grabbing his hand as Kisuke looked at him with narrowed eyes.
"If you force it off her you will kill her." Gin hissed, eyes narrowed to near slits.
"Then how the hell do you expect me to get it off her?!" Kisuke growled back.

Tsukiro's eyes fluttered open. The first thing he saw was a large span of tan colored rocks. Funny, it looked exactly like Kisuke's training grounds. And his head was in someone's lap.
"Looks like he's awake."
Yoruichi?
Tsukiro looked up to see that exact person looking down at him. He blinked several times before reality hit him. He bolted up and looked around, seeing Kisuke, Ukitake, Kuchiki and Hirako who looked pale.
"What the... how did...?"
Then he looked over and spotted Ichimaru with Kita in his arms. At first he was relieved that Kita was with them. Then the anger hit. His eyes flashed. He tried to lunge at him, but Yoruichi was faster and grabbed him, pulling him back into her chest, pinning him so he couldn't move.
"You bastard! Why the hell are you here?! If you love working for Aizen so much then why come back?! You haven't done shit for Kita or us!"
Yoruichi firmly placed her hand over his mouth. "Shh! You don't want Kita waking up and hearing you, do you? Then things will be even worse between you two." |

The fox released Kisuke's hand and reached into his haori, completely ignoring the brat in the background. "I'll have you know I had no idea, so there was nothing I could do prevent this."
"What?" Kisuke persisted.
Frowning now, Gin reached into his haori, pulling out two vials. He pointed to the first. "This has the saliva I forced up her throat after Aizen forced her to swallow a pill to make her forget." He said nothing about not letting her retch it up. It hurt enough. "The seraph prevented it from working, and originally, she was going to return the memories. However, Aizen learned more about the seraph and created that choker to block her powers from surfacing and aiding Kita in times of punishment."
He pointed to the second vial and pulled out a notebook. "This is dust from the Aeronite crystal, an element that can tame gods, and what I recreated of Szayel's notes when making that device around her neck. The key wasn't in his lab, but it is made of that infernal rock."
Kisuke raised an eyebrow. "So far, I don't see what you expect me to fix, fox."
"I was getting there," Gin hissed in turn. "If you can't recreate the key and figure out how to get the lock open with all your knowledge, then use the chemicals that are on that saliva to create a new pill. If he can take her memories away with chemicals, you should be able to bring them back."

Kisuke sighed, taking the information from Gin. His eyes studying each object well, he sighed adjusting his hat. "So what you're saying is; I have my work cut out for me." Kisuke looked to Kita as she laid peacefully in Gin's arms.
He reached over and smoothed her hair from her face. "What should we expect when she wakes up?"
"She is my Pet. What do you think?" Gin told him with a sly grin.
Kisuke grabbed Gin by his haori and jerked him forward. "I don't like your look or your tone, Ichimaru!" Kisuke's eyes narrowed. "If you're saying what I think you're saying! She is your puppet, your plaything!"
Gin pulled Kisuke's hands from his person and stood with Kita in his arms the same grin still across his face. "That is exactly what I am saying." Gin turned and started walking away. "We will be in my room. Please send Inoue there when she is free."
Kisuke growled clenching his fits as he watched Gin walk away with Kita draped in his arms.

Tsukiro's vision was completely red as he struggled to get out of Yoruichi's hold. She wasn't letting go that easily though.
He was going to kill him. He was going to kill them BOTH. Aizen and Ichimaru. They both were dead when he got his hands on them. When he got the chance, he would make them both regret ever fucking with his and Kita's lives. They'd wish they'd never met them. So much rage was boiling through him that it was unreal. He was ready to kill everyone he could get his hands on, no matter who they were or what they were to him. In his mind, no one was safe except for Kita.
He struggled and struggled against Yoruichi's hold but she was way to strong for him. Especially with the blasted collar on. She wrapped her arms and legs around him, covering his mouth to keep him from shouting threats and profanities. Her hold was so tight it almost suffocated and strangled him.
He had to get his hands on someone. He had to do something to let his anger out. He couldn't take it anymore.
Someone had to die.
His thoughts invoked a deep fear in the back of his mind. |
