Turning from her eldest son Kita gave Yumiko a gentle smile. "Lets have a good breakfast then get out of this place. Its not good to be cooped up at times like this. Despair feeds on seclusion."
She hugged her friend once more. "We need to surround ourselves with friends and family, and it probably would not hurt if we sought out the others affected by this. I am sure they are going through the same emotions as you."
She paused and looked to her son as she thought of something. "Isn't Makino at the hospital still?"
Sojiro nodded slowly a touch of shame in his eyes. "Yeah, she is."
"Is there something the matter, Sojiro?" Kita asked her son.
Sojiro shook his head as he cast his eyes downward. "A lot," he sighed. He looked back up at his mother and Aunt as they both gave him questioning looks of concern, so before they could ask, he just told them. "I have not been to see her since you have returned, mom."
Kita walked over to her son and patted his shoulder with a warm smile. "It's only been a few days, but it would probably would not hurt for you to stop by on your way to class." She looked to the clock on the wall, then back to her son. "If you have time that is."
Sojiro nodded as they all moved toward the table and took a place around it. "Maybe the three of us will leave out with you and stop by the hospital as well. I would like to check on Kyoraku, your father and Raelin. They were in pretty bad shape when they came back and I was too weak then to fully heal them."
"Mommy no heal! Make mommy tired, no feel good! Mommy rest!" Kadaj barked as he looked at his mother over his plate of toast and eggs with beady-eyes.
Kita giggled at her youngest. "I won't be healing them unless absolutely necessary. I just want to check up on them."
