Juushiro chuckled, shaking his head lightly in amusement before addressing Kita. "Kita, it was never the commander's or my wish to imprison you. It was necessary to hide you for your own protection, but that does not mean we will do our best to make this as comfortable as possible."
"But Yumiko-"
"Her case was not in our hands to decide," the captain interrupted firmly. "It wasn't my Sensei's, Captain Commander Yamamoto's decision on how to handle her powers. Central decided that and passed the order down. Going against it meant going against the Spirit King. Kisuke, the commander, and myself are doing our best to make sure that nothing similar happens to you."

Kita smiled to the three men in the room. "I understand that and I am not blaming you for what is going on. I am not blaming anyone. Everyone has to do what they have to do to survive." She looked down at her hand with a sad look.
"However, I can't even survive with what is after me. I am weak. Just a human. I draw no power or strengths from the Seraph. I am just me. So I have no choice but to rely on you all to protect me. So I live with it and don't complain. Like Gin told me. 'Definitions change with the scenery, dearie. Deal with it.' I guess in that short time. I have learned. If it were not for that crazy Fox I would be dead right now."

Tsukiro sat down on the other side of Kita and rubbed her back, kissing her cheek. "No one would blame you for complaining. That's why I'm not going anywhere until you're allowed to venture out. I wouldn't dare think of leaving you here alone. You'll feel better once you can go places. Until then, I'm staying right here with you."

Kita shook her head looking at Tsukiro.
"You can't do that. You have responsibilities and a job to do here. They need you. One thing I have figured out in this mess is the Gotei 13 and I have the same common enemy. Aizen. If he destroys the Soul Society then who is going to help me and others like me. You have to stand up and be part of what you became. If the Soul Society falls. I fall as well and then Aizen can do as he wishes with who and what remains."

"Kita is right, Tsukiro. When Kisuke is ready to attack Las Noches, you should leave with him." Tsukiro looked up at him, eyes narrowing. "Don't glare at me, third seat. You're important to more than Kita here and you know it. You have business with others, including Kisuke, your captain, and your commander," he said sternly.
He chuckled a moment later and rose. "But your commander is an understanding person and is an advocate of young love. You may stay here with her for a couple days and after that, one of your friends or myself will take over. Kita won't be left alone."
"When will she get to leave here?" Hisagi asked.
"Either when a certain security measure is in place across Soul Society or we find the traitor, whichever comes first."
Kita opened her mouth to speak, but the captain cut her off. "The traitor has been in place since before you came, Kita. A couple more days of much needed rest and recovery won't hurt you and it won't affect the search for her much. Wait to perform your favor to us. I was wrong to push you as I did before."

Kita nodded with an understanding look. If she was going to preach to Tsukiro to do his part. She could not quite go against it and act out herself.
"Yes sir. I will do as you request and when the times comes I will do my part as well."
Hisagi chuckled and kissed her temple. "You pointing out Aizen's daughter and us taking her into custody should jerk a knot in Sousuke's tail."
Kita looked to Juushiro he could tell she was worried. "What is it Kita?"
"When is the group going to Las Noches for the others?"

"Soon," the captain replied. "Kisuke wants to be as prepared as possible or we will meet with disaster as Tsukiro did, but he is nearly ready. Your escape lit a fire in his mind, too. If it wasn't for what Sousuke and his followers have done, I would be a little worried for them."

Kita nodded. "Then can I wait to point out Azayaka until you have the girls back? It would set my mind at ease knowing they are safe from Aizen's wrath. If you have her as a hostage and he has three. I see someone getting left behind or worse..." Kita did not finish her sentence as she hung her head.

"You make a good point, Kita. Don't hang your head," he said gently. She looked up and he smiled. "It was not wrong of you to run away, even if you left the others behind. If you tried to rescue them, the chance of you succeeding would have dramatically dropped."
He turned. "Shuuei, Tsukiro, there's more food in the kitchen. Please stay within these suites and don't try to explore the maze-like halls. The Captain Commander or Captain Kuchiki will be here before too much time has passed. I am returning to Karakura Town."
"And Kita," he reached into his pocket and placed a soul phone in her hand. "This is yours. Call the shopkeeper, if you wish. I'm sure he's missing you."

Kita smiled as she took the soul phone from him. "Thank you. I think I will. I miss Kisuke a lot too." Juushiro turned from her as she called out to him he turned and looked at her.
"Thank you for everything, Captain. And I will help out in any way I can to stop his man. Even if it is my own life."

Hisagi gasp at her words, his hand quickly going for hers as he gripped it firmly but gently. "Not even happening! I would let that bastard take any more of my friends!"

Tsukiro sighed and took Kita's hand in his. He traced the lines in her hand. Internally he fought with himself.
"Will you be okay if I go with them? If not, tell me. And not this 'it's not my decision, it doesn't matter what 'I want.' I want to know your honest, true to your heart feelings."

Kita looked into Tsukiro's eyes. "I don't matter what I want or what I say. You are needed. Orihime, Karin and Yumiko are still there. They need you. Right now my needs are nonexistent compared to them."
Her other hand slide from Hisagi's hand as she cupped Tsukiro's cheek softly caressing it with her thumb. "Please Tsukiro. Go to Las Noches and save my friends. And all of you come back to us alive and as well as you can be after dealing with Aizen."
She leaned into him softly kissing his lips, pulling back she rested her forehead to his. "I love you."
