A momentary frown flashed over the snake's features before his grin returned. "Give it yer best shot then," he shrugged. Shinsou glinted in the sunlight as he raised its blade between his own crystal-like eyes. His reiatsu grew and his bangs slid over his eyes. Expression hidden, he whispered, "Make me work for it, kid."

Hisagi nodded and gave Izuru a smile. "Lets do this." The two took their stance when Hisagi called forth Kazeshini.
"Reap, Kazeshini."
Hisagi wasted no time and attacked first propelling one of his blades past Gins head. Gin dodged as Hisagi pulled back on his chain causing Kazeshini to return.

Meanwhile, as Whisper's fire died down, Byakuya stood from his crouch, an inverted pyramid shield cracking around him and zapakuto back at his side.
"Bakudo #73: Tozansho," he murmured," and...." the noble raised his hand.
A dark purple dot appeared by Whisper's shoulder, the next, at her opposite knee, and a larger one above her head. Eight dots floated suspended around her just as a larger dot grew from her chest, growing larger and larger, as were the eight around her, rapidly immobilizing her.
"Bakudo #79: Kuyo Shibari."
"I told you not to underestimate mine," he stated. "A captain of the Gotei 13, and a Kuchiki, has many weapons available to himself." A pale blue light formed at his fingertip. "But then, with Aizen as your leader, I suppose it's in your making to reject your natural fear." His eyes narrowed. "In the right hands, this spell can damage a person's Bankai, and it is a Kuchiki favorite. Soukatsui."
A raging pillar of ice blue fire sped towards the immobilized target.

"Danku--" Aizen whispered as a large energy barrier formed a rectangular wall in front of Whisper.
Aizen looked to Byakuya. "I see you have learned to destroy my espada sooner than later." He smirked and stood his ground waiting for Byakuya to turn his wrath on him. While holding Byakuya's attention Whisper broke free of the Bakudo.

"If you hadn't interfered I would have," the noble answered as his zanpakuto scattered and the flury of blossoms rushed into the horizon. "For the honor of the clan," he declared and swept his hand across. "Soren Soukatsui." The thousand blades flew at Aizen from all sides as the energy cannon clashed with another Danku shiled, cracking it.

"You're still too slow-- Byakuya Kuchiki." Aizen told him appearing behind him. When Byakuya turned with narrowed eyes Aizen quickly drew his sword and attacked cutting into the sleeve of his shihakusho and into his right hand cutting through his impeccable white glove.

Entering back into the swell of battle Nori landed in front Hisagi and Izuru catching Shinsou in the folds of one of her fans. She stood facing Gin and gave him a warm smile.
"You should be ashamed attacking my lieutenant. I don't take kindly to things like that."
She looked slightly over her shoulder at the two boys. "Get out of here. I will take care of this fox."
Hisagi and Izuru nodded and were gone. Nori released Gin's blade looking down at him. "Gin Ichimaru. I knew you were a snake, but to sink to this level again after coming back into Izuru's life." She closed her fans and lowered them to her side. "I am appalled by your actions."

Gin's ire rose as the new captain of the third division appeared before him with words that bit deep into his consciousness. He didn't need her reasoning voice to add to the clamor in his head. "You don't see the full picture," the snake hissed, calling back his blade and holding the wakizashi before him. "You don't know what's at stake. I have to do this, and if it means incapacitating the one who healed Izuru's wounds, so be it."

Nori looked at Gin. "You're wrong. I do understand. Much more than you will know or understand." She opened her fans and looked at Gin. "But because your Master chooses to go about following his dreams in a way that destroys. I cannot forgive him nor you for the torment and pain you have caused others." She raised her fans readying to attack. "And I will not allow you to torment my Lieutenant any longer."
She attacked without warning sending a gale of slicing winds his way. It danced around him cutting at his vulnerable skin, cutting into his clothing. A cut appeared across Gin's cheek and across his right hand, small beads of blood trickled downward from his wounds.

Gin chuckled and smirked. "Well, isn't that nice. You won't let me take my lieutenant back with me or use the best of Shinsou abilities. Well then," he shunpo'ed right in front of her, slashing at her fingers, holding one fan, raising his head to avoid the second, and then slashed at her left leg, "I'll just have to rip you apart like this," he hissed. His eyes danced maniacally as the bloodlust rose up, erasing the worry still lingering in his system.
He danced around her fans, lunging and swinging with Shinsou in nearly a blur of movement, his reiatsu flaring around him a like dark cloak of foreboding, leaving little cuts as he went. "I wonder, which is stronger, Hitsugaya or yourself?" he snickered.

Nori winced in pain inwardly not dropping her fans as Gin cut into her flesh.
“Whirlwind of Blades.” Nori spoke softly as her fans transformed back to blade form. She turned blocking Gin's next attack pushing him back from her.
She then raised her blades directed at the enemy. Creating a wind gust that morphed as it traveled through the air into a plethora of crescent-shaped blades that can pierce through virtually anything. She guided them around with simple movements of her blades. Gin danced in and out of a few, but was not lucky enough to escape them all. He drew closer to Nori raising his sword when Nori crossed her blades and pushed him back with a burst of her wind.
"I won't allow you to get close to me again, Ichimaru."
“Soaring Whirlwind.” Nori called out.
Two fans, one smaller than the other appeared. Blades capable of being shot from the smaller fan. The larger fan used for defense and blocking. The edges of both fans razor sharp.

Gin laughed eerily and licked a deep cut on his left arm, quipping, "You're not half bad, Nori-chan~ I suppose that is what you would expect of a captain of the razor sharp intelligence division. We have to be good to keep our heads intact." He chuckled at his own joke and grinned, blood staining his lips and chin. "I really should play with you more often." He took a step back and Nori frowned slightly.
The snake tilted his head. "With something this much fun, don't you think I should go all out?" he inquired lightly, a sligh hiss in his words. "I mean, even Aizen-san is dealing his own justice out. I can't just sit and play with my prey too much." There was a moment of silence. "Ban-Kai."
A moment later, Shinsou seemed to rip through her fans and stabbed Nori through her opposite leg. She whirled her smaller fan, unleashing a plethora of small blades to keep him back, and stumbled.
Fabric tore above her. "Oh dear," Gin called out, "I missed." He stood smirking, in spite of a wound to his lower leg and a slash to his chest, Shinsou glinted crimson in his hand, small again. He shrugged. "That was supposed to be your side, captain."
Nori's eyes narrowed. How did he get past her fans and wind?
"Try again, Nori-chan~" he warned and shunpo'ed behind her. Shinsou glinted in the sun, circling around her. Nori sent another wave of blades in the direction of his path, sweeping her larger fan wide open, and sidestepped, just evading a lunge from Shinsou out of the ground beneath her feet!

Nori sighed and stood on an unsteady leg. "So you want to play that way. Alright then. I shall oblige." Nori closed her fans. "Bankai." She quickly opened them.
“Dance of the Serpent.”
With this move Nori summoned several tornadoes to attack her enemy. She waved her fans toward Gin as they picked up and through anything through the air ripping it to shreds then dropping it in its wake. With massive wind power it took out buildings and the ground below it. It is her strongest attack. Moving her fans again in a cross pattern Nori called out another command.
“Soaring Whirlwind.”
Blades shooting from the smaller fan once again. The larger fan sending wind gusts that morphed into another plethora of crescent-shaped blades. She leapt back from another attack as she stumbled catching herself quickly. Sending yet another wave of blades toward Gin.

Aizen looked to Whisper with unspoken words and before Byakuya could counter, Aizen and Whisper disappeared from around him. Both going to complete unfinished business.

Byakuya glared and called back his zanpakuto.
Below, Captain Mutsu's reiatsu peaked as she called up a handful of tornados. the signature trail of Gin's Shinsou wrapping around them from a safe distance. Lightning tore up the sky as Captain Koriyama clashed with the espada of water. Finally, more buildings fell as the commander's energy fluctuated in his own bloody duel.
Where had Aizen gone?
