While Izuru was off cleaning up Kita's eyes fluttered and opened. Her head was in someones lap and from their scent and the energy she felt it was Vacanze's. She tried moving as the stiffness took over her body, she moaned in pain but pushed up anyway. Vacanze trying to keep her still.
"You'll open your wounds, Kita what are you doing? Rest!" He growled at her trying to be firm but failed when she looked into his eyes and spoke.
"I am hungry." She gave him a weak smile.

Vacanze tried to hold back his amusement but he failed epically. He chuckled, smiling widely. "You being hungry is what got us into this mess." She struggled to sit up. He tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen. So he helped her to sit up and then gently pulled her up into his lap. "I will send someone for a tray for you. I am not leaving you this time."

Kita winched slightly as Vacanze pulled her into his lap. She rested her head to his shoulder. "I will rest here then."
He pet her hair and smiled. Kita then sat up and looked around the room. "Where is Master Gin?"
She looked to Vacanze. "And Izuru?"

Vacanze shook his head. "Nevermind that bastard." He nodded to the bathroom door. "The Soul Reaper is in the bathroom cleaning up. He should be out shortly."

Kita looked to Vacanze and cupped his cheek. "Please don't blame Master Gin for this. He was only following orders. Just like you have to do with Lord Aizen." She kissed his lips softly then quickly pulled back wincing.
She quickly brought her fingertips to her lips and smiled slightly trying not to cause more pain. "I forgot I bit my lip in the last few dozen lashes."

He shook his head. "I cannot and will not forgive him for this. Orders or not. This should not have happened. Azayaka was the one to blame. You should not have been punished at all."

"Azayaka is Aizen's daughter, and she is the first priority in this palace. We should all remember that from now on," Gin commented from the doorway.
The snake entered the room with two trays of food. He set one tray on the table for Izuru and brought the second tray over to Kita. Hers was noticeably different, softer food that would be easier to swallow, a rice soup with chicken and a mild juice. He set it down without another word and turned to leave once more.

Kita turned reaching out too quickly for Gin, crying out from her quick movements. Her call for him sounding like a plea. "Master Gin. Don't go. I don't blame you." He kept walking toward the door.
"Please. You know I will always trust you."
He froze in his footsteps, but did not turn around to look at her.
"Please don't go." She told him.

For a few moments, all was still then Gin let out a sigh and turned back around, his eyes hidden behind his silver bangs. "Why?" he whispered, in a voice barely above a whisper.
"It's not your fault," she said, eyes bright with unshed tears. She couldn't bear to see her Master hurt and she could never blame him. She didn't know why. It just was. She reached out for him again, ignoring the pain of the gesture. She bore with it. He was hurting more than she was. Than she ever could.
Gin closed the distance between them and took her hand. "Let's try not to do this again, dearie," he murmured, brushing at her eyes.
Why are you still the same when you can't remember? Why do I get this miracle?

Izuru stepped from the bathroom with only his pants on a towel over his shoulders as he dried his hair. He saw Kita sitting up in Vacanze's lap and Gin sitting on the bed next to them both.
"Kita? What are you doing? You're going to open your wounds back up!" He scolded walking quickly toward them.
"I'm fine. Really." Kita told him.
Izuru sighed. "Fine if you're going to be sitting up then we need to get you wrapped." Izuru turned and went back in the bathroom retrieving a large roll of gauze. He walked back out and over to Kita where she sat on Vacanze's lap.
"I need the sheet removed to do this, Kita." He told her as she dropped the sheet and it pooled around her hips.
All of a sudden Izuru's cheek went bright red and his body temperature rose a few too many degrees. He went to try and wrap her as he fumbled the gauze a few times dropping it into Vacanze's lap.

Gin could begin to feel amusement tickle through his mind as Izuru's hands fumbled and the espada scoffed.
"They're only tits,"
Vacanze stated plainly, causing his former lieutenant to blush even further, not to mention drop the roll once more. It made the fox recall some of the more interesting stories of Rangiku using her fellow officers as victims.
Getting annoyed, the espada muttered something under his breath about the soul reaper not being any use in this state and grab the gauze before Izuru could reach for it again.
"Let me do it," he grumbled, "or this will never get done."
Kita giggled and kissed his cheek.
Gin took the gauze from the espada. "It will be faster if two people do it." Albeit reluctantly, the espada agreed, and between them, Kita was soon wrapped in the linen bandages.
Kita leaned back against Vacanze and reached for Gin's hand again, pulling the sheet up with the other hand.
Izuru quickly started blinking to disguise the fact that he had been staring. Vacanze noticed.
"Sheesh, are you really still a Virgin, Soul Reaper?"
Gin frowned imperceptibly but Izuru spoke up first.

Izuru's eyes widened at the espadas question. "Of course not!" His arms crossed over his chest an annoyed look in his eyes.
"It's just... Well... Kita is a friend. I never expected to see her like that." His cheeks flushing again.
"Yeah, right. I am sure you wanted to though. So you got your chance. Don't let it go any further than that." Vacanze told him brushing Kita's hair back as she smiled at him. "I might have to share her with the Masters, but there is no way in hell I am sharing her with the likes of you."
Izuru growled. "The likes of me?! What is that supposed to mean? I am as good of a man as any."
"Right," Vacanze said looking from Kita to Izuru.
Izuru looked to Gin shaking his head. "Are you sure he is an espada? He don't act like any of the ones I have ever faced."

Gin shook his head with a glimmer of his usual smirk which only grew as Kita spoke. "They're people just like you and me," Kita stated firmly. "Some of them are just more twisted than others, but can you say that you don't have any like that where you come from?" Izuru blinked then frowned as he considered her words. She smiled up at Vacanze. "If you didn't have to treat them like the enemy, they'd be no different."
"I don't think I need to explain it further than that," he said, waving his hand.
Gin smirked quietly to himself as he watched both his former lieutenant take in her words and Vacanze thank her with another sweet kiss to her neck.

"Home Again":Aizen along with Ichimaru, walked casually into Kita's room where Aizen instrusted Loki to put her when she exited the gate on his side. She sat to the foot of her bed the Hougyoku resting in both hands as she gazed into it. As he walked toward her he noticed the orb looked wet. Tears nonetheless that Kita had been crying since she arrived. He stopped in front of her sliding his fingertips under her chin lifting her head to make eye contact. "Are those tears of joy or tears of sorrow, Kita dear?" Kita sniffled, "they tried to kill me. After everything they told me." She lifted one hand and wiped away a tear. "They lied to me."Aizen's hand slid from under her chin and across her cheek. His hand lifted as he stood and placed his hand to her back just below her shoulders he caressed her back soothingly as he looked to Ichimaru. "I told you before Kita. They cannot be trusted and I am sure your Master was in on this as well." Kita looked up at Gin with narrowed eyes. "Did you know what they were going to do?!" Her voice held a bite her eyes burning through him.

Gin chuckled and waved his hand. "I knew they were going to do something foolish," he admitted. "Why do you think I tried to get you to come back with me? It would be easier to keep you alive if you were at my side, even if you were in a hurry to get back to Aizen-san."
