Aizen noticed the change in Gin once more. The Snake's reiatsu fluctuating in the mists of the Shopkeeper's, he smirked. "Would you like to see him before or after?"
"After what?" Gin snapped.
Hand still resting to the hilt of his own blade, Aizen's smirk widened. "After we enjoy your wife."

Kisuke said something, but Gin didn't hear it. In a blur, he'd swung Shinsou out in the direction of his master's head. Aizen disappeared and then his hearing returned. Gin's body slammed against the prison door, Kyoka Suigetsu embedded in his shoulder and Shinsou trembling in the joint grasp of his master and himself. Aizen smirked through the blood running down from the slash to his forehead.
Gin growled deep in his throat. "They're BOTH mine!" he snarled thickly. "They belong to me. Not you!" His eyes were a brilliant vermillion.

Aizen lifted his hand, his palm touching Gin's forehead as a wordless kido discharged, rendering Gin limp and unless. Gin slid down the bars to the floor in a heap as Aizen looked from the corner of his eyes as Kisuke. The Shopkeeper's eyes were narrowed under his hat. Aizen's hand lifted as a new fraccion appeared. He motioned to Gin as the fraccion lifted him from the floor. Aizen's look never leaving Kisuke's gaze. "This will be you in time, just keep pushing that envelope. Urahara." Aizen looked to the fraccion next as he started his path from the prison. "Follow me." The three left the area leaving Kisuke there alone.

"Strike of the Cobra": (continued)
Gin entered the prison chamber in a flash of noise, banging the door open as he walked into the dark hallway. The two guards scuttled back into their places as he passed, more than unnerved by the Snake's dark energy and tilted grin. Snickering, Gin strode down the path to the cell holding the shopkeeper. Kisuke raised an eyebrow as he approached.
Gin set a hand on the bars. "Time to get off your ass, Hat-n-Clogs. Kita's hurt and I'm not waiting around all day for her to recover."

Kisuke lifted his head looking at the Snake as he folded his arms under his head letting it rest back against them. "Really? And what would you like me to do about it?" He adjusted his hat over his eyes tucking his arm back under his head.
"Let one of your own take care of her. You really think I want to heal someone that you and your own are trying to turn against me and will want me dead? And sadly enough she could do it before Aizen could. She is better off dead anyway at this rate." He yawned crossing his legs. "And why would you care if she lived or died? Oh wait--" Kisuke replied sitting up quickly as he lifted his hat to look at Gin.
"This is for your Master, not Kita." He dropped back down on the cot his arms folded back under his head, hat back over his eyes. "Nope. Still not interested."

Chuckling, Gin entered the cell and closed it behind him, walking to stand over the laid back form. He drew Shinsou. “You are going to get up and march out of here in front of me, Kisuke, or I am going to start cutting into you. There are plenty of ways to deal out pain without making you useless as a healer.”
Kisuke raised his hat, looked into the flaming eyes, and then laid down again, not replying.
Gin leaned back against the bars. “Are you really going to test my patience, Shopkeep?” he muttered. “I thought you were smarter than that. You live with a cat. One would hope her instincts for danger would wear off on you.”
He tapped his fingers along his arm. “This is your fault in the first place, Urahara. You are going to fix it.”

Before either of them could blink Kisuke was up off the cot, grabbed Gin, pulled him slightly away from the bars and slammed him back against them. "My fault!" He growled in his face. He knocked Shinsou from Gin's grasps and slammed him against the bars again.
"You arrogant fucktard!" Kisuke's eyes narrowed under his hat. "I heard what happened. I heard that Rangiku lost her life to that Bastard Aizen and the choice he gave you, and I can guarantee I know what ran through your bent mind."
His arm flung outward pointing at nothing, but he was sure Gin knew what he was referring to. "You got her into this mess! Now you fucking get her out of it! That is if you care enough about her and your son to do that!"
Kisuke released Gin, turned and walked back toward the cot. He took a seat on the edge propping his elbows to his knees letting his head hang as he removed his hat. "Tell me why you want me to save her and if you give me the right answer." He looked up at Gin. "I will go with you to heal her. If its the wrong answer or I feel like it is forced." Kisuke paused looking the Snake in the eyes.
"I will let the woman you call your light, your love, your wife--die."

“Like hell you will!” Gin snarled, surging forward as soon as the shopkeeper's sickening speech had finished. He seized Kisuke up by his jacket, letting the hat fall. “You will save her because she has too much to live for to die like that. Infection is no easy way to die. She’s gone through enough pain.”
And there’s plenty more ahead in this tough world.
“And I,” he spat even louder, azure eyes whirling and brilliant, “am not losing her! If she dies, I will kill you myself, and even an old candyman like you will be screaming for mercy in the end. If I have to spend decades getting there. She is not dying now!”
She is not dying because of me. She’s the only thing that matters.
Aizen's face flashed before his eyes.
Suddenly going quiet, he released the shopkeeper and stepped away. He had said more than enough. He took a breath, grinning again as he looked down at Kisuke again. “Sojiro will be sad. And Kenji. I don’t think you want to see the repercussions of that, do you?"

Kisuke shot up off the cot his fist connecting with Gin's jaw. Gin stumbled back into the bars catching himself before he slid to the floor. Lunging forward again Kisuke grabbed Gin by the collar of his kimono and jerked him forward letting his fist connect again with his jaw.
"Wrong answer Piss Ant!" Kisuke swung again, Gin blocking this one as Kisuke came around with a left hook nailing him in the gut. Gin doubled over as Kisuke grabbed a handful of his silver hair wrenching him backward, bowing him in half as he got in his face. Kisuke's eyes flashed with darkness.
"Don't piss me off, Ichimaru. Sousuke's powers are child's play compared to mine." He grinned like a Cheshire cat, adding with a whisper, "you seem to forget who created the Hogyoku." Kisuke tugged Gin back until he fell to the floor.
He then stepped away from the Snake back to his cot. "Don't preach to me about Kenji and Sojiro." He sat back down looking at the man on the floor. "They would rather see Kita dead than have her suffer the life that is offered here. At least then she would be safe from Sousuke and somewhere they could still see her."
"Now answer my question." Kisuke demanded, rubbing at the collar around his neck.

At his persistence, the daze of pain in his body fled and Gin leaped up in a flash, his fist colliding with Kisuke’s chin. “Don’t bloody tell me what to do, damned shopkeeper!” he snapped, eyes slitted daggers. “She’s gone and she’s not coming back!”
He wasn’t talking about Kita now. But it was far too soon to say her name aloud.
The Fox waited for Kisuke to retaliate and when the man only sat up and fixed his hat, eyes glittering strangely, he turned on his heel. Staring at a point outside the skylight into the inky eternal night that stretched onwards. He took a breath, back taunt as the steel that had slid so easily through his irreplaceable women. “You’re as awful as he is,” Gin hissed, voice breaking at the end.
For a few moments, silence reigned.
Gin turned around and retrieved Shinsou, his fingers running over the hilt, eyes hidden again. He chuckled quietly. “Get off your ass, Shopkeep, I am not doing anything for either of you if the only thing I live for is gone.” Tossing his head back, he grinned like a joker. “You’ll both be out of a pawn.”

Kisuke grinned, still sitting to the cot. "Good. Because I don't want your ugly ass as a pawn. I want you to be a man that knows how to stand on his own two feet and fights for what he loves and believes in." Kisuke rose to his feet stretching, popping his neck and back as he did so.
"If you're going to be with my daughter and be a daddy to my grandson. You need to know what you want. Not what others want to make you think you want." He brushed past Gin walking toward the cell door. "That's why Aizen keeps coming after you. You're easy to control, Ichimaru. You're like Tervaden. You think you need a Master. Someone to think for you. Tell you what you want and need. When in reality you know what you want and need, but are too scared to go after it on your own. Grow a set and be a man. Not a boy."
He pushed open the cell door, turned and looked at Gin. "What you want and what you need are out there waiting for you to be the man they know you can be. You gave into him once and it took a toll on you putting you in a coma. Don't let that man take your livelihood away from you again. They may not be there when you open your eyes next time."

A hint of something flickered in the Fox’s eyes, shimmering from beneath his bangs, as the shopkeeper turned around. And then, Gin kicked him in the ass, causing him to stumble forwards a few steps. He cut in front of him, grinning widely as he walked towards the double doors. “Quit your blabbering, dawdling, and gesturing, old man. Or I’ll tell Kenji his old man’s gone daft.”
He paused.
"And cut it out with the fortune talk, in particular. I don't need anyone reading mine." He continued onwards, head slightly bowed, smirking, bangs sliding back over his eyes. "I'll handle it."
His hands clenched. I will.

Kisuke chuckled softly as he fell in behind the Snake rubbing at the collar around his neck. "You know," his hand ventured around the back of his neck. "You want me to heal the love of your life this collar has to come off."
Gin turned looking at him, a crazy smirk across his lips, Kisuke returning his looking. The two said nothing more as they continued on their way to the room where Kita was resting with the Eighth Espada.

"The Last Six Months": (Continued) Kenji sat against the cell bars, his arms wrapped around his legs and his head down. He slammed his fist against the marble floor, keeping his head down. Having confine himself to the cells over the last six months, Kenji had a deep regret for what he had done.
His father was gone. And, how he set him free was nothing to be proud of. His last words to his father echoed in his mind.
"Drop him in a hole so deep, he dies on the way down!"
Kenji truly missed his mother. And, now, he missed his father. But, his deepest regret was not having both his mother and father too far to embrace...
It was having betrayed Lord Aizen...Fade
