"Chained Snake":Not far behind Whisper and her fraccion, Aizen followed. While they still situated Ichimaru in his cell, Aizen showed, looking at both the Arrancar women as he stepped into the cell. "You're dismissed. I will take care of things from here." Aizen walked toward the three of them, Ichimaru laid out on the cot in the room as the two women walked past Aizen to the cell door. The cell door creaked as they pulled it closed behind them and left. Looking to the wound on Ichimaru's side, Aizen saw it was cauterized closed from Whisper's attack that rendered him listless. He smirked, reaching into his pocket and lifting out a black collar. Reaching out and leaning down over Ichimaru, he slipped it around his neck and clasped the lock in place. "That should tame you, old friend." He then walked over, taking a seat in a nearby chair. There he waited.

Gin woke slowly, his head splitting for a reason that wasn't clear to him, at first, but then he recalled his victory over Cero and the trick pulled by Whisper. He chuckled and sat up, rubbing the collar over his neck. "Can't handle me without two espada and a reiatsu-stealing collar, Aizen-san?" he questioned calmly. He winced as a headache spiked in the back of his mind but grinned again in the next minute. "I thought I wasn't that dangerous to you~"

Aizen looked at him as he watched him sit up on the bed's edge, he smirked. "Not for me. For the ones you overpower. I will be busy elsewhere while you will be tormented and tortured by my daughter and the Espada." He stood from the chair and stepped toward Ichimaru.
"I have a Goddess and a vessel to tame while you sit here and sulk. I am sure now that you are out of the picture Kita will be easy to win over." He stopped a few feet in front of him letting his hand slide under Ichimaru's chin lifting his head so to look into his slitted eyes. "With the delivery of Shinsou to her and your reiatsu nonexistent in Las Noches. She will have no reason to doubt you're dead."
He let Ichimaru's head drop as he turned and stepped away from him. "Grieving women are so easy to manipulate." He looked over his shoulder at Ichimaru. "Don't you agree, Ichimaru?" Aizen's smirk grew wider.

Gin grinned, completely at ease, and leaned back against the wall. He watched Aizen whose eyes were fixed on him, slightly narrowing at the lack of a response, and decide to elabroate. "Those are both facts that I can't dispute - I admit - but then again, Kita is very different from most in how she reacts to things and she has never just fallen into your traps, old friend." Aizen's smirk froze and Gin chuckled. "We'll see who wins this round soon enough. Just remember that if you break her, you lose the seraph."
Aizen took a step towards him, eyes murderous. "If she dies, your screams will never cease. I'll make sure of that," he growled.
"I don't care what happens to me," Gin responded calmly. "I never have." He leaned forward and set his chin on his hand. "Maybe that's why I can't keep anyone near me without somehow losing them. But then again, you should know that. Right," he paused, "Captain?" he murmured, mocking the past and all it implied.

Aizen's smirk returned as he stepped up to Ichimaru reaching out he patted his cheek. "Don't worry Ichimaru. If she breaks and I do lose the Seraph. I will have you both to torment." He turned and walked toward the cell door.
"Between keeping her as a play toy and you as my whipping boy--" he paused at the cell door and looked back at Ichimaru. "Your Hell has just begun. Because as sure as I stand here I will make sure you both witness the others pain."

Gin glared. "So. be. it," he snapped. "Neither Kita nor I will break easily. However, I can't say the same for you and your patience with the Goddess. If your rage and sick games leave you stranded among the hollows longer, both Kita and I will have won."

Aizen chuckled softly. "Have you?" He stepped out locking the cell door behind him as he looked to Ichimaru. "There is always the Hougyoku." His eyes then got a malicous look as he chuckled again. "If I break Kita and lose the Seraph I could always use her in other ways besides a toy. I have yet to try changing a human into an Espada." His eyes flashed as he looked to Ichimaru.
"What do you think Ichimaru? Kita as an Espada?" He nodded in agreement with himself. "Yes, I think I will do that."

Gin eyes blazed as his ire rose up with each word Aizen added after the fucking Hougyoku. He stood from his cot and walked forwards. But then some of the words penetrated past his hatred and he calmed, slightly. "Hat-n-Clogs has no reason to surrender your precious bauble to you, and if you changed Kita, she would have the power to run from you and NOT come back. Kisuke would accept her either way." He sat down again. "She could even sneak me out from under your nose. Two of your toys would be gone."
He glanced back up at his former master. "Without us to hold your anger in check, I wonder how long you would keep Yumiko without her either running or turning on you?"

Aizen's smirk did not fade only remained true across his lips. "Yumiko is easy to bend and lead as I see fit. And you need not worry about your precious Pet. Personalities, temperaments and emotions can be changed, forgotten and even replaced." He paused, their eyes locked in a heated stare.
"As you have witnessed with Yumiko-- You; nor your beloved Pet, will escape me if I do not wish or will it to happen."

Gin refused to shudder as the feeling of noose tightening around his neck threatened to overwhelm him at that particular phrase. Shaking it off, the snake looked on grimly. "If you're hoping I will beg, you have a long wait, Aizen."
Aizen chuckled. "We have all the time in the world," he replied smoothly.
Gin held the stare for a moment longer and then he laid out on the cot with one arm pillowing his head. "Things have a way of not going your way for long in this war." He held up one hand. "Loki rebels against you, the Hougyoku is sealed, your changes to Yumiko nearly result in her taking your head off, oh, and Azayaka was captured by the Soul Society. Four mistakes so far, and that's without the Goddess' move~" He turned his head back to his former master. "When will the next mistake strike, I wonder."

"No. Just yours." Aizen turned to walk out then paused giving Ichimaru a side glance. "Oh. Just so you know. I took the liberty of hooking the cameras back up in the torture room. I think Kita will be surprised when she finally figures it out." He smirked and looked away taking a step forward to finish his path to the door.
"You had better hope she remains calm if she ever catches a show. I would hate to think you might have to spend more time in here because of her outburst and having to chokering her again with the aeronite. Setbacks are an annoyance but in the case of you and Kita, I am willing to make exceptions."
He chuckled softly as he opened the door to the prison and exited the doors closing loudly behind him.

Folding both arms behind his head, Gin closed his eyes. A small smile remained on his features as he lay there silently, knees propped up.
Good luck, Kita. I will return to you soon enough.
He called your bluff.
There's nothing we can do about it immediately. Hopefully my virus attacks as planned, knocking out the system and breaking the cameras in this whole section of the Palace.
The fox spirit didn't rely.
The silver-haired reaper waited in the dark.

"The Task Within the Snake's Challenge":
In the stillness of his cell, Gin gradually shifted into Jinzen, reaching for Shinsou with his mind. The darkness behind his closed eyes faded. He appeared on a hill at twilight in the middle of fall, with rust red leaves drifting down to the pale grass below and dressed in a patched blue grey kimono a size too small for him. His sandaled feet and bare legs tingled at the pricking of the dry grass. As a chilled breeze rushed by him, he shrugged his shoulders and continued walking up the hill. The shacks of Rukongai stretched out behind him.
The spirit of his zanpakuto emerged from between two old trees at the top, four tails swirling in the wind. His silver fur gleamed with the dying light around them. The golden eyes of the kitsune watched him closely as he neared.
Ignoring Shinsou for a moment, Gin sat at the base of one of the trees and pulling out a persimmon from a bowl nearby. He plucked one seed of the dying fruit and set it in between his teeth. “Now we wait,” Gin murmured at last, looking at the growing shadows of the horizon. Shinsou’s notched ear twitched. Gin set his chin on his hand. “It’s brighter here now, in spite of the wind and clouds.” Shinsou nodded. “You know you leave little room for warmth in your heart when you’re in the shadows of your master.”
A corner of Gin’s lips quirked upwards. “Recently the rain has had a warm touch to it.”
“Occasionally,” the spirit admitted, “but it will get colder before long.”
Gin chuckled. “Winter always was the season for endurance.” He reached over and stroked the fox’s neck.
The fox gave an approving rumble in the back of his throat and nuzzled him. “You’ve learned the importance of bonds. Through that, you’ve gained greater precision with my blades and sunlight pierces our realm. You’ve acknowledged their power over you and you no longer fall prey to the seduction of the darkness.”
Shinsou stepped from him. “But you are not balanced. You hold the darkness at bay but it is a part of you, the dangerous side of you. You will need it again to surpass the chains of your master. Can you balance your new light with the power? If you want to get stronger, seek that."
The fox faded away.
“I will be here to guide you in the blizzard.”

"Truth of the Matter":It had been a month and Ichimaru had had the pleasure of visiting the torture chamber at least once a week if not twice. He was lead to believe that Kita was acting out because she believed her Master was dead. So in doing so he was being punished in her place. However, no matter what Aizen told Ichimaru about his rebelling Pet it did not seems to phase him. He accepted it and took the beating with a smile spread across his face. Entering the prison, Aizen stopped in front of Ichimaru's cell. Looking at him you would have never thought Ichimaru was beaten just days before, and to the point he was dragged back to his cell and dropped in front of the cell door. How he was doing it with no powers or strength was beyond Aizen's knowledge. He knew Kita had not be coming to the prison. The Arrancar posted at the door would have reported it to him. So how? His anger started to rise as he glared at the man before him. If it was the last thing he did he would bring Ichimaru back around. In time, he would make him see his emotions and feelings for the human girl was a wasted effort on his behalf. In time she would turn on Ichimaru just like all the others have done. "Get up!" Aizen growled at his former pawn.

Gin rose with a slight chuckle. The spark in his eyes grew at the sight of his former master and the anger brimming in his dark eyes. "Hello, Aizen-san," he greeted in his normal nonchalant voice. "I'm sorry to say that you don't look too happy. Has Kita been up to something else?" he purred, running a hand through his hair. "Is she still not bending to your will?"
