"Charming the Kit":It had been a few days since Kisuke and Ichimaru had brought Mr. Faux in, locking and sealing him in the cell room. Tessai of course making sure he was tended to and cared for as he walked from the kitchen with a tray of food and drink for their new captive. Even if he was Aizen, they could not let the little old man he'd possessed pass on, after all, he was human. It would be wrong of them to let Mr. Faux suffer because he was he was being used against his will by an evil man, and a God to boot. Today it seemed everyone was busy. Kisuke and Kita were testing the newest creations he made for Yuzu and Vacanze had drug Ichimaru out of the shop on a wild goose chase to keep Ichimaru from finding out about their testing on the new creation. Tessai only shook his head chuckling lightly at the thought of 'if' Ichimaru were to find out.
Pausing before entering the room they used as the Command Post,Tessai looked around making sure none of the children saw him go in there. When he saw the area was clear, he proceeded on. Entering the room, he made his way to the cell room when poor Mr. Faux was being held because of Aizen and Alister. Pushing the door open, he stepped in looking at the old man as he sat on the cot in the cell.
"I have your lunch Mr. Faux." Tessai told him. He looked up and smiled at Tessai, "You're a good man Tessai."Tessai opened the cell door and entered the cell sitting the tray to the table that was placed in there for him. Mr. Faux looked up at him smiled kindly as he sat the tray down."Maybe a game of chess later, Tessai?""I would like that, Mr. Faux." "Good good," Mr. Faux replied as he sat down in the chair at the table, Tessai turning and walking back toward the cell door."Enjoy your lunch, and I will be back to get the tray in about an hour and we can have that game of chess you asked for." Tessai explained to him.
Gary only nodded as he looked Tessai's way as he closed and locked the door tightly behind him, leaving him to himself and his lunch.

It was only a few moments later, as Gary was enjoying his meal, that the door to the cell room slowly cracked an eerie creek followed by the slow opening of the door. Looking the way of the door Gary smirked.
"Did you forget something, Tessai?"
To Gary's surprise, he saw silver hair peek around the door followed by a set of pale blue curious eyes. It was the Fox's Kit.
"Well look who came to visit me. Come in, Sojiro. I have missed seeing you the last few days."

Sojiro’s eyes widened as he walked out of the shadows. Looking at Gary behind bars, he shuffled his feet. “Gary… why are you back there?” He lifted his head and tilted it to the side, trying to understand. Gary didn’t look like he was being treated badly, and he wasn't a criminal. “Are you really sick?”

Gary shook his head resting his chopsticks to the corner of his plate. He turned looking at the boy pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "Of course not Sojiro. Do I look sick to you?"
Sojiro shook his little head as Gary stood and walked over to the cell bars. He squatted down to eye level with the boy. "Though it would seem your Uncle Kisuke and father think I am a dangerous and evil man. As do all the others that live here and in the Soul Society." He cocked his head and smiled warmly. "You don't think I am evil and dangerous do you Sojiro?" He extended his hand through the bars. "We have been friends for a long time, right? You know me."

Soji frowned, not liking this. He trusted his mother and Kisuke and his father seemed to like him.... But how was Gary an evil man? He shook his head. "It's a mistake. They'll fix it," he said, holding out his hand, but before he could take Gary's hand, he jolted and held a hand to his ear.
"Daichi, that hurt," he whined, rubbing at the shell that still stung. His white ferret twined out of his shirt and around his opposite arm to his chest, tiny claws anchoring himself in the jacket as his bright eyes glittered. He squeaked. Soji giggled and stroked his head. "I think he got jealous of you, Gary. That's a first."

Gary looked on at the white ferret as it clung to the boy. Slowly he withdrew his hand and smiled at Sojiro. "It's all right. He has a right be jealous. You're a good boy and I am sure a good Master to your pet." He looked from Sojiro to the ferret once more.
"What did you say his name was again?" He knew there was something special about the animal, but what?
"Daichi," Sojiro said scratching the creature between his little ears.
"Daichi. That's an odd name for such a little guy." Gary confessed, "Dai; meaning large or great. Combined with chi; earth, land or wisdom and intellect?" He smiled warmly at the boy. "Where did his name come from? Did your mother name him?"

Helping Daichi back onto his shoulder and giggling as the ferret wiggled back under his shirt, Sojiro shook his head and grinned. "I didn't choose it. Daichi did." When Gary raised his eyebrow, as if in confusion, the boy leaned forward. "Mom got me a book of names. Daichi sniffed that one."
He turned his head as Daichi scuried onto his opposite shoulder and squeaked before running up the wall to the skylight and outside.

Gary watched as Daichi scurried from the room, rather glad the rodent left, he looked to Sojiro again, his smile still spread across his face. "I guess from your reaction when you entered the room you did not think you would find me in here. Me of all people." He turned from Sojiro walking back over to the table sitting down to his lunch once more.
"I guess they did not tell you they were holding me captive?" He looked from the corner of his eye over at Sojiro. He was just about to take a bite when he lifted his head and turned quickly looking at the boy. "You know," he started in a questioning tone as his hand came up to his chin. "Tessai made way too much for just little old me. Would you like to join me?"

Sojiro smiled. “Can I? Tessai’s food is the best!” He paused. “Well… Yumigo’s muffins are good, too. And Aunt Yuzu. She made a BIG cake with chocolate frosting and lots of strawberries!” He spread his arms wide, but then he slumped. “It got destroyed by the Bad Snake.” He sat down on the ground by the bars of the cage. “Yuzu said she would make another.”

Gary cocked his head at the name 'Bad Snake', shaking his slightly pushing back in his thoughts. First things first. To get out of this cell, he pushed up his glasses again and continued to smile. "Well if you really want to join me," his eyes drifted from Sojiro to a small drawer table next to the door. "I know your Uncle Kisuke keeps an extra set of keys in that table over there. Maybe you can get the keys and come join me?"
As Sojiro looked over at the table Gary smirked, "I am sure they won't mind. You're only going to help me eat my lunch," he hummed in delight as he took a bite, "which is very good. Tessai surely knows how to cook. Oh! By the way, you said something about a Bad Snake. Did a snake get into the cake or something?" Gary asked trying to keep the boys mind from wondering if he was doing the right thing with unlocking the cell door to join him for lunch.

Soji shook his little head again as he walked over to the drawer and found a bunch of keys. He grabbed them. “It’s not like that, Gary, but I don’t know if I should tell you. Uncle Kisuke says there are some things that are secret.” He folded his arms, thinking.
“Surely you can trust me,” Gary called over, taking another bite, smiling widely. He met Soji’s wide innocent eyes, smirk growing. “I like secrets and I can tell you one in exchange.”
Soji nodded quickly. “Secrets are fun. Kisuke tells me some. And V. He’s different than Mom and me. Even Dad.” He dropped the keys and picked them up again. “You know there are bad things all around us. And well, one bad thing came to Mom’s birthday party. It destroyed the cake and took V’s arm off.” He looked up. “Snakes are quick like that, but Uncle Kisuke says that there are good snakes, too.” He started fiddling with the keys, watching them shimmer.
“Strange keys, Kisuke….” he murmured, eyes narrowing. “They’re different than Mom’s.”
“Tell me more,” Gary murmured, waiting for him to move a little closer.
“Well, I don’t know how bad he was. Uncle Juu put a spell around us to protect Evita, me, and Kenji, but most were on the ground screaming. It buzzed for us.” Sojiro continued talking and started moving again. “I was scared….”
“I’m sure you were.”
“That’s why he was a Bad Snake,” Sojiro finished. He kneeled down and examined the lock in the cell. “I think it’s this one, Gary.” He grinned as he slid a black key inside and started turning the knob. “Hey, it’s stuck!”
Gary’s eyes glittered as he walked over. “Maybe it needs a stronger push.” He reached for the key.
A white blur appeared and launched itself at the hand. Daichi sunk his teeth deep into the offending skin with a low growl and whirling crimson eyes.
“Daichi!!” Sojiro cried out
“SOJI!” Three other voices called out behind him. Arms pulled him away from Gary.
Then, he felt pain spike through his arm and a low voice cursing.

After a quick stumble back, Gary looked at the group with narrowed eyes as he clutched at the bite on his hand. Blood seeped through his fingers when he glanced down at it. An evil laugh rolling from his chest as he looked at Sojiro wrapped in the Espada's arms keeping him from his grasps.
"It would seem we were not fast enough in getting the door open, Sojiro. Such a shame too. I was hoping we could play a little chess with mommy and daddy."

Vacanze held Sojiro close to him, keeping him hoisted on his hip and his arms abound him. He glared at the old man, his eyes glowing red. His estigma flashed. "You bastard! Trying to bait an eight year old child into freeing you just so you can continue on with your twisted vendetta."
It was at that moment that Kita rushed in faster than the wind and stormed into Gary's cell. She shoved him against the back of the cell, her hand on his throat, squeezing the life out of him. If Kita wasn't human, Vacanze was sure her eyes would have been glowing brighter than his.
"Mom, no! Don't hurt him!" Sojiro squirmed from Vacanze's hold.
"Soji. I know it's hard to understand, but Gary isn't who he's pretending to be. I know you like him, but he's not who you think he is."

If it were possible the glare Kita was giving the old man he would have been dead. She looked deep into his eyes her grip tightening slowly around his neck. "I should have know the first day when you called me Kitten. I should have known who you were."
"But you didn't and now. Now it is too late." Gary told her.
Kita's head shook ever so slightly, "it's never too late, and now that we have found you out. You're through. You will never get out of this cell as Gary or as Aizen. I will make damn sure of it. Even if it cost me my life to stop you. I will gladly give up my life force to stop you."

"Would you?" Gary chuckled as Kita's hand tightened yet again around his neck. "So you would kill an innocent old man just to stop me? Giving up your mortality and leave your loved ones and son behind just so you could be by my side faster?" Gary smirked, grabbing her wrist with his bloody hand and squeezed. His eyes narrowing at her.
"I will have you again, Kitten. You have always belonged to me and me alone." Gary whispered to her.
Suddenly and quickly he was jerked forward then slammed back into the wall the hand around his necking growing even tighter.
"Do it Kitten!" He growled, "kill me and free us both."
