Sojiro squirmed again, tears coming to his eyes at what was going on around him and then Gary growling at his mother to kill. Panic took him. “MOM!” Soji screamed, trying to get free of V, “MOM! DON’T DO IT! MOMMY, PLEASE!” He started bawling.
“Gary, don’t hurt mom…..”
A whoosh of air rushed past him and a blur of silver. “Daddy….”

From Gin's hand, Shinsou glinted. With his added height, Gin shoved Aizen's shell away from his lover and pulled her behind him. His reiatsu whipped around himself and the room like live brand of flame. Stepping closer, eyes narrowed both in rage and dark pleasure at seeing the blood already spilled, he pressed the tip to the old man's throat, watching the veins become clearer.
“I won’t let you take her from me, Aizen,” he hissed. “Not now and not ever.”
And he wasn’t just talking physical possession. He would protect Kita from the darkness that could claim her.

As Sojiro squirmed and continued to cry, Vacanze hugged him closer and held Sojiro's face to his shoulder, doing his best to block out the scene from Sojiro. He didn't need to see or experience this at such a young age. He hushed him, rubbing his back and hair.
"Kita, Gin. Either let me take Soji out of here, or calm down. You're upsetting him. He doesn't need to see all this. He's still a baby compared to all of us here." When he didn't get an answer, Vacanze sighed and turned to leave. Immediately Sojiro started fussing and protesting. Vacanze held him tightly, hushing him. "It's alright. We're just going on the other side of the door. Mom and Dad can handle themselves. They'll be okay. Alright?"
He opened the door with one hand then closed it. He sat against the wall next to the door and pulled Sojiro into his lap, cradling him as he continued to sniffle. Shortly after Vacanze thought he had him calmed down. There was yelling and screaming from inside. Sojiro sobbed, pulling at Vacanze's clothes, trying to get free.
“MOMMMMMYYYYYYYY!!!” Sojiro hollered. The kid was terrified. “KISUKE! JUU! DADDDY!!!”
Vacanze shushed him, hugging him to his chest and rocking him. "It's okay. It's alright. It'll be over soon."

Gin held Kita at arm’s length as she screamed that she didn’t care what happened, that the bastard was hers. But his control frayed when Aizen took his moment of distraction to make his own commentary.
“Give up, old friend,” he murmured. “You gave Kita to the darkness, and your son will follow.”
Gin’s head started to buzz and he could do little but listen.
Aizen smirked. “They’re just like you. All mine.”
Kita wrenched herself free of Gin and slammed her fist through the old man's face, spraying blood. “SHUT UP! SHUT UP SHUT UP! Gin is never going to be yours again and I will kill you to protect my son.”
Gin pulled her back before she could strike him again. “Kita, stop it! Killing him is what HE wants.”
“I DON’T CARE! I WANT HIM GONE! I WANT HIM DESTROYED!”
Her eyes began to glow and Shinsou screeched in his mind as her powers started to warp his. “KITA!!” he snapped, shaking her as his teeth rattled. His heart quaked, recalling Aizen's words about Kita's inner hatred. He was frozen.
Then, Sojiro started screaming.
Kita’s energy fell. Gin’s arm gentled. “Kita,” he whispered, “Sojiro needs you. Think about Soji. Do you really want him to see you like this?”

Hearing her son scream for her, Kita snapped out of her rage. It was like she was in a trance a trance that tapped into the utmost deepest fears and rage. She looked down at her hands blood covered and shaking. she clenched her hands tightly and looked to the old man. Blood was running from his nose and mouth. His eye turning black. She gritted her teeth and growled in her chest.
"You Bastard," her eyes narrowed again. "You stay away from my family and I mean it."
Those were her last words to him as she then turned and stormed from the cell to go get her son from Vacanze.

Gary chuckled wiping the blood from his face and spat blood to the floor. "She has gotten stronger in the last eight years." Gary said barely above a whisper, but it was enough to catch Gin's attention as he turned back looking at him through slitted eyes.
Gary smirked at the silver haired man his eyes laughing at him. "Just a little more and she would have fallen over the edge."

Gin glared. “You’re wrong. She’s not like me.”
Gary wiped his glasses carefully and returned the smashed lenses to his eyes. “No, she’s like me. She’s already there.” He chuckled. “And I won’t miss it a second time.”
Gin took a step towards him, paused, and then, stepped backwards. “She won’t fall over the edge as long as she has me - and Sojiro.” He closed the door to his cell, locking it and taking the key. “She won’t.”
Aizen's voice echoed on. “Keep telling yourself that, Ichimaru. Time will always show which of us is right.”
Gin flinched and his hand clenched around the bars. But he straightened again. “It did. You’re defeated. You just don’t know it.” A flicker of his usual smirk returned to his face. "It's over."
“Then why am I alive?” Gary asked.
Gin's confidence slowly started to return to him as he answered the old man, facing his own demons. “Because your crimes are even worse than mine were. Death is too swift for you.”
He turned around and started walking away, slowly blotting his former master out of his head, but he still heard the old man’s final words.

Gary chuckled beneath his breath as he sat down to the table once more. "One day you will learn, Ichimaru. Love cannot save you from your own fate."
When Ichimaru froze at the door and gave him a side glance, Gary smirked. "Her fate of times is characterized by rationalization and intellectualization and, above all, by the disenchantment of the world. Just as there is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can circumvent or hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul."
When Ichimaru opened the door Gary laughed aloud, "I will see you in hell soon enough Ichimaru."
Ichimaru exited the room without a word further.Moved

"Family Ties":After everything calmed down, Kisuke made his way to the cell to have a few words with the old man and make sure he was not hurt too badly with Kita attacking him. He could careless about Aizen, but the human old man was another thing. When he entered the room he found Gary sitting to the cot dabbing at the corner of his mouth with the napkin Tessai brought with his lunch. "I should let you suffer for what you tried to do. If it were not the old mans body that surrounds you I would." He pulled his set of keys from his pocket and unlocked the door walking in. He stepped over in front of him and shook his head as he looked at his busted lip, black eye, broken glasses, and swollen nose. "She did do a number on you." He turned back toward the cell door, exiting, closing and locking it behind him. Kisuke disappeared to go get supplies to doctor him up.

Gary stood from the cot when Kisuke walked back in the room, his glasses were removed and resting to the table in his cell. Kisuke unlocked the cell door and stepped toward him. "I don't need your pity." Gary told him.
"Who said I was giving you any pity. If I were not dealing with a God's doing here, I would expel your ass from the old man and then kill you myself." Kisuke shoved his hand into the old mans shoulder making him take a seat back on the cot.
"What makes you think that the old man even exists?" Gary questioned.
Kisuke shook his head and remained silent. Gary figured that Kisuke decided to not get into a battle of the wits with him. Gary assumed he just wanted to get this over with and get back to his shaken family. When Kisuke finished cleaning him up he stood, looking down at the old man in front of him as he shook his head yet again. Gary then watched him turn and pick up his broken glasses from the table.
"I will need those." Gary told him as he watched Kisuke walked back toward the cell door with all the supplies and his glasses in hand.

"So frail you were bested by an angry mother and her pet?" asked the god, appearing outside of the cell. He peered through the bars, eyes narrowed at the old man. "Tormenting those you would normally find beneath you, is a practice best suited for a stronger frame." The god turned his back on the old man and looked toward the door. "Vale Tervaden is dead. And, now I must take you from this realm. Whoever thought doing what was necessary would be so..." he turned to face the old man resting on the cot again. "Annoying."

Gary chuckled. "Yes, her pet. I was told of Tervaden by the shopkeeper's boy that he was taken. It seems Central went straight for the heart on that one. What a pity he had to let love get in the way. Such a foolish man if you ask me." He looked to Kisuke as he froze in his path.
"I am sure you have heard of the God of Fire, Alister. If not, then this is your introduction. Count yourself lucky you got that much from me." He looked back to Alister, "and you can blame Tervaden for this human form I am in. He put me here. Return me to my former self so I can be done with you."

The god smirked, looking to Urahara. "Now now. Do not let my appearance ruin this reunion between brothers. What has it been? Eight years, yes? Give or take a heart." He glanced over his shoulder, then returned his gaze to Urahara.
"Is this the first you have heard of this?" asked the god. "Of Tervaden's death, that is?"

Kisuke turned on the God and glared at him. "Tervaden. Dead? You Bastard," Kisuke growled, "and don't you ever place me in that bastard's bloodline again." He glanced slightly Gray's way.
"Why did you kill Tervaden, Alister? Why? He was nobody to you and everything to a young lady."

"I did not kill Tervaden, Urahara." replied the god. "And, why do you care that he has died? You damned him. As did Kyoraku and Ukitake. You used Ryouma as a weapon against him. And, now he is dead." The god ran his fingers through his hair.
"As for the two of you. I am afraid the same blood flows through the both of you. Two sides of the same coin. Does that bother you?"
