Satoshi hummed as he settled into his bed. "You are the Soul Society's shield, Captain Commander. You know what is best for your people. But, I can no longer live under your leadership if that is the stance you have chosen to take."
"I relinquish my zanpakuto and will leave after my body has healed." Satoshi pointed behind him, to his zanpakuto resting against the wall. "I wish you well in your endeavors, Captain."

Before her captain could reply, his hands were full of paper and Nanao had shunpo’ed in front of the teacher and slammed her fist into his face. Her violet eyes flashed from beneath her glasses.
“Easy there, Nanao-”
“So in addition to refusing to aid the Realms, you’re going to abandon those who rely on you to the next war. Is that what your stubborn pride demands?!”
“It’s not pride. It’s honor,” Satoshi muttered, rubbing at his face.
“If that’s honor, I want no part of it!” she snapped. “I don’t care if you’re going to refuse to see the difficulty in which my captain lives with daily, but if you abandon those kids, who have already lost so much, then your honor means nothing. And you will be responsible for more bloodshed and heartache than Captain Shunsui when things go wrong!”

"How?" shouted Satoshi.. "I've given you the opportunity to minamize the brutality and devastation to come. But, that would mean that you would have to correct your error one of two ways. And, you won't do it!"
Satoshi's eyes focused on Nanao. "Don't speak to me of responsibility, when the you blindly follow the foolishness of this man because you love him!"

Nanao’s eyes hardened, her tears drying. “As if I would let my heart rule in such a matter,” she retorted quickly. “I follow the Captain because I believe in him and his beliefs. It has nothing to do with the foolishness of the heart!” Shunsui set a hand on her head and she pushed him away. “You know nothing about what Kyoraku wants to protect or what it takes to do so!”
"Don't I?" Tetsuya continued. "I have spent centuries protecting what I love from what Seto has become. Separating the Tetsuya name from that of Tervaden." He met her angry gaze with a calm one. "Do you know what Vale means, Lieutenant Ise?"
She remained stubbornly silent, arms folded over her arms, waiting for him to convince her.
"It is a valley. A depression in the Earth, cleansed by some form of flowing water. And this water, in Seto's case, is chaos. Exchange his chaos for peace, that's all I am asking."
Nanao huffed and picked up the papers from her captain. She threw them at Satoshi. "If you want to save someone, then stop holding out on us."
"I told you that I will not be a part-"

“In the persecution,” Shunsui murmured as he came to stand by his lieutenant, setting his hand on her head. Nanao pushed her glasses up, cheeks stained from her righteous rage on his behalf. Standing straight and trying to deny that it happened. He chuckled.
And then sighed, turning back to Satoshi Tetsuya. “How would you go about finding this peace for Tervaden then - if I were to consider giving him a third chance?”
Satoshi looked to the Captain Commander as he spoke. "You know where his peace lies. Use that. If peace is what he truly wants, present him with the opportunity to obtain it. And, though you may be tempted to, do not threaten to take it from him. He will meet your resistance with his own."
Shunsui Kyoraku sighed and turned around, looking to the wall before him, as Nanao recovered the papers she had flung at the teacher. From the corner of his eye, he watched as she slammed the pages she had initially left back on the bedside table. Once again, he turned back to the wall. When Nanao stood straight, her folder back in hand, he turned around. "Very well," he murmured. "I will consider my options, but in return, you will visit Karakura." He pointed to the zanpakutos on the bed. "The owners of those zanpakuto and the shopkeeper are your brother's best hope. If you want to save someone, then you can't watch from the sidelines or wait in silence. As tempting as it may be, I guarantee it won't make your wish happen any quicker."
Satoshi sat up again. "If this is to happen, placing him in Karakura is foolish. Keep your allies close, Captain. And, your enemies closer."
The Captain Commander looked to the wall again. "We shall see...." He walked to the door. "You do your part, I will see what I can do to help with your request."

As the Captain Commander and his Lieutenant left the room, and the door slid shut, Satoshi's face twisted in pain. He covered his ears as he twisted on the bed and groaned in pain. "Well done, brother." Vale's voice echoed in Satoshi's mind. "Well done indeed." Vale's laughter faded as a drop of blood trickled from Satoshi's nose. The room grew dark as Satoshi passed out...END RP "Sorting Through the Muck":

"Times Change": A new week was before them making it a solid month since their freedom from Aizen and his take over. Though things were still moving along at a steady pace for them all, exhaustion and frustration had set in on a lot of them. Attitudes and tempers were flaring causing fights among them. Acquaintances, strangers and even friends were fighting friends. Thus making things even more stressful for the ones trying to keep the peace. If their fate and patients were truly being tested, this was the time. The time when they needed to prove they could really pull together and be a community.
It just before lunch as Kita tended to one of the male Soul Reapers that was working on the reconstruction of the Soul Society. It seemed he had sliced his hand on a large piece of sheet metal they were trying to get out of the way. As she finished up the final touches on his healing, she heard her name being called by Captain Kotetsu. She turned slightly to look over her shoulder at the woman how stood in the doorway of the exam room.

"Kita, I need to speak with you if possible." Isane told her as she walked further into the room.
"Did I do something wrong?" Kita asked her.
Isane smiled shaking her head. "Oh no, not at all. It pertains a patient here."
Kita nodded and looked back to the patient she was caring for. As she looked at his hand once more she looked up at him. "You're all done here, but if you do not want to damage the hand again it would be best for you to take the next twenty-four hours off."
The guy looked to his hand and sighed. "Can I put on gloves and just take it easy. We really need to get this done."
Isane sighed at the mans stubbornness, "You could, but if you don't take it easy on that hand you are going to cause the tender flesh over the wound to reopen."
The guy nodded flexing his hand as he looked at it again. "I will take it easy." He looked to Kita. "I promise."
The two women nodded as they watched him exit the room. Once he was gone Isane turned to Kita once more. "I need you to go examine a patient we have had here for the last month. There is nothing more we can do for him. He is healed, but..."

Kita's head titled slightly with a confused look. "But what, Captain?"
"He lost his powers." Isane told her.
Kita blinked with a blank expression on her face. "And I am to do what?"
"Well I was talking to Tessai the other day about your powers when I went to visit Urahara. And we thought maybe you might be able to pin point why since your powers search the body for damage. Tessai thought that with this unique technique of yours you might be able to see something we never have when something like this happens."
Kita did not know what to say. This was something she had never attempted before, but she did have to admit that it was odd how her powers found odd ailments in the ones she took care of. She nodded her head slowly. "I can do that. What room is he in and what his name?"

"He is in room 118A and its Captain Hitsu..." Isane did not even get his name completely spoken and Kita was headed toward the door in a rush. "...gaya." She rushed toward the door as Kita exited turning the direction she needed to go to get to him.
"Kita?!" Isane called to her, but Kita did not stop in her path to acknowledge her. She just continued on her path to the Captain in question. Isane shrugged her shoulders shaking her head. "Good thing I covered everything I needed. I guess she figure it out when she sees him."
She stepped from the to go check on a few others before she went to lunch. Hoping Kita could find something that they could not so to maybe reverse the effects of this for Hitsugaya and any other Soul Reapers this might plague in the future. Moved

Post by Urahara Kisuke on Jan 12, 2017 20:07:41 GMT -6
“Silent Fox”:It had been a week since Gin was delivered back to the Gotei after disappearing seconds after Vale. He was taken to the Fourth Division, diagnosis, slit throat. Who did it and how it happened, no one knew. They didn’t even know how he made it back in his condition, or if he even did make it back on his own, and someone didn't just dump him there for them to find. No matter how it happened he was found and just in time from what Isane told Kisuke. Gin had lost a lot of blood, but somehow, before he passed out, managed to stop the bleeding, or someone did. They did not know, and even after a week still did not know. Gin had been silent, not because he refused to talk, but because he could not talk. Isane had been healing him every day, three and four times a day. If the man was not sleeping to regain his strength, he sat quietly in his bed. Isane advice everyone, not to push Gin at the moment, and to let him heal, there would be time for questioning when he was finally up to it. The news about Gin, however; was kept as silent as Gin was remaining. They did not want to worry his son or to alert the one that did this to him that he was still alive. Thinking they might try for him again in his weakened state. Finally, the day had arrived, Isane had sent for Kisuke letting him know Gin was no longer silent and his strength up enough to set through a short session of questioning. Kisuke canceled the rest of his day and headed straight to the medical ward. When he entered he saw Isane behind the nurses’ station talking to one of the medical staff. He walked up and waited until she was finished speaking to them.

Once Isane finished with the nurse she turned facing Kisuke and walked from behind the counter. "Commander Urahara," she bowed slightly to him. "I did not think you would be here so quickly."
"How is he doing?" Kisuke asked her.
Isane nodded slowly as they started to walk toward Gin's room. "He is doing well. At least he is not fighting with me to get out of here like most times when he is brought in here."
"Hm..." Kisuke hummed going into thought as he rubbed his chin.
"Is there something wrong Commander?"

Kisuke chuckled and looked to her his eyes drifting to her enlarged abdomen. "He might be thinking now would be a bad time to push your buttons. After all, he has already dealt with one pregnant woman in his life time."
Isane giggled as she let her hand caress over her stomach. "Luckily, I have not been having mood swings like the others. Cravings." Her eyes widened her head nodding slowly. "Most definitely."
Kisuke chuckled, letting his hand rest to her shoulder. "I just hope you have not been wearing yourself out from healing Ichimaru. You and that baby need that energy to."

Isane giggled, "I have been fine. That's why it took so long to heal him, and the days I was not up to it I put my best on it." She looked his way and smiled. "Don't worry about me. I know what I am doing. I am a doctor."Kisuke adjusted his hat and looked at Isane with a raised brow. "My wife tells me that just before we--" He was cut off with a quick lifting of Isane's hand and her looking away from him. "T.M.I Commander. T.M.I."Kisuke chuckled as they stopped in front of Gin's room door. "Anything I should know before I go in there?" Isane nodded. "Don't push him, and if he starts to sound hoarse stop, let him rest his vocal cords. They took some bad damage in the attack."
Kisuke nodded to her. "Has he said anything to you about this?" Isane shook her head. "Not a word." She told him as Kisuke nodded, turned and knocked on his door, opening it slowly as he announced himself and entered the room. Isane herself turned and left them to talk.Moved-- END --

"Worried Family": (continued) Seeing the Noble exit Kouen looked to his older brother, with silent words he let his brother know what he was doing. Kouen then quickly and quietly exited the room after her. Looking one way down the hall he did not see her but caught her in the corner of his eyes as he looked the other. Quickly he went after her.
"Lady Ryouma?" He called to her as he gently caught her arm and stopped her.
Tears were streaming down her cheeks as he took her in his arms and hugged her tightly, holding her as close as he could from her swollen belly. "You don't need to be alone right now. Come back and stay with the family. We can support you as much as we can Sojiro and Makino."
