Yumiko couldn't stop the gasp that escaped her at both the light and the beauty before her. "This is amazing..." she whispered.
The sight before her now reminded her of the splendor Aizen had shown her the first night, and it had the one thing she had yet to see again, flowers. She knelt down to pick one, running her fingers over the soft petals. A few moments passed. Until a tear escaped her itchy eyes.
Yumiko stood up, hurriedly, blinking and clenching her hands. "I'm sorry, Aizen. I got distracted." The flower lay on the pathway.

Aizen looked down at the flower on the pathway, kneeled down picking it up between his thumb and index finger.
"My dear," he started then stood before her once more the flower extended to her. "There is no need to be sorry. It brings me pleasure to see your face light up over such simple things."
When she took the flower from him he turned offering her his arm once more. "Shall we. There are roses growing further down the path."

Her smile returned. "I'd like to see that." She took his arm again.

Aizen walked them further down the path and into a spectrum of colors that dressed the flowers. There were red, yellow, pink, white and even black roses. In the distance you could see purple and even ice green.
Yumiko released Aizen's arm and wandered off into the grass toward the roses.

Yumiko trailed her fingers over the nearest roses as her eyes took in the ones in the distance. Her hands shook. Wiping another tear with her shoulder, she closed her eyes and breathed in, taking in the fragrance to calm the storm of emotions inside her once again. Yumiko walked on, stopping at the black roses.
She paused then ran her hand over one stem, carefully shedding the thorns with Kido, and cut one off. She stood and slowly twirled it in her hand then turned back towards Aizen.
"How did you get ice green?" she asked when she had returned to his side, still twirling the rose in thought.

Walking up to the two of them Szayel entered the conversation. "Maybe I can help you with that one, my lord."
He bowed to Aizen lowering himself to one knee before his master. His right arm crossing his chest and head lowered. he then stood again before them with a broad smile across his lips. "The young lady enjoys the garden I see?"

Aizen nodded to the espada. "Yes, it seems she is." He turned back to Yumiko. "Szayel created them. He is quite the scientific find for Las Noches."

Szayel looked to Aizen with a smile and nodded. "You're very welcome, Miss Yumiko." He quickly looked back to the young girl.
"But I don't think it was my roses that brought you here." Szayel looked Aizen again and smirked. "Am I right, my lord?"

"Yes, that is correct." Aizen looked to Yumiko. "I would like you to allow Szayle to examine you." Yumiko got an odd look on her face and titled her head slightly.
Aizen reached out taking her hand in his holding it gently but firmly. "Its only because you have been under that seal for so long. I think it would be best. Then we can find out if any damage had been done to you or your powers." He paused for a second. "It might also help us in determining the fastest way for you to regain your strength."

Yumiko listened to the reasons Aizen presented quietly, then looked down for a few moments. Szayel and Aizen waited patiently.
She finally nodded. "Alright, but under one condition." When Aizen nodded for her to continue, she paused then stated, "I don't want to be alone when this is done."

Szayel looked to Aizen and smiled pushing up his glasses. "Maybe Master would like to do the honors?"
Szayel almost let a chuckle slip from him when Aizen looked to him quickly trying to hide his annoyance. However, Aizen did rather well in hiding it as he turned back to Yumiko and smiled.

He still held on to her hand.

Szayel turned waving a hand over his shoulder. "Lord Aizen is always there to please." He followed his feet back to his lab.
