“Get the hell back here!” Ichigo snapped, down on one knee from the shock that had whipped through him at just touching the damn collar. “Bastard!” He panted, head aching, and cursed soundly in his mind as he got used to the new intrusion in his mind. After a few minutes, he looked to Kita who looked all different kinds of pissed. “Did he ruin what you needed to accomplish?” he asked. He winced. Now that he was calmer, his voice sounded like he had run a marathon. “What the hell is this thing?”
"Vale at his best or worst, your choice," Kita murmured, setting a hand on his shoulder and letting her healing powers flow through him. "You okay?" She leaned closer. "Koga touched us. He knows what we talked about."
Ichigo sighed. "Fun, well I'm getting my wind back now." He stood. "Damn, that hurt." He clenched a hand. 'Maybe I shouldn't have used the Hollow to get to Yuzu and Evita when I had the chance, but it's too late now." He shook out his arms. "Let's go do our visit."
Kita nodded and they continued to their destination.
