Kisuke sighed his head lowered as he adjusted his hat. "No, it won't. It's the same feeling we all live with because of Aizen." He looked back at his son. "The worst it had ever been for me was when you were born. Then mine and your mother's worst nightmare came true. Aizen took you from us."
His head shook as he turned away from Kenji and took a few steps forward, his hat coming off as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I regret the day I took you and your mother from Soul Society." His hat quickly hit his leg with a loud pop.
"I should have left well enough alone. I should have never brought Kita around you. Never." His hand clenched his hat tightly. "I am sorry, Kenji."

Kenji sat still, watching his father pace in frustration. “Do I wish you would have left me hidden? Yeah…Do I wish I had never met Kita?” Kenji shook his head. “No.” He looked away from his father.
“I wish you and mom had done a better job protecting me and preparing for all of this.” Kenji sighed as he fell back to the bed. “But, I’ve already spent so much time being angry over that. I don’t want to do that again. I’m tired of bouncing between okay and terrified. I just want to be…okay. Just…okay. ”

Kisuke walked over to the bed and sat down, his hand going to his sons shoulder. "I wish we were to, but it seems no matter what we do the man is ahead of us. Some days I can get lucky and slow him down or knock him back a few steps. And between mine and Ichigo's combined intelligence and brawn we even took him out of commission for awhile."
Kisuke's head shook, "I can help you take your mind from this, maybe even help with the anxiety, but other than that I don't know what else you want to hear from me, Kenji."

“I’m not entirely sure I know what I want you to say either…” Kenji chuckled as he smiled at his father. “Can I ask…Why have you all never tried to kill Aizen? Jailing him clearly hasn’t worked. Leaving him in a realm to himself hasn’t worked. Kill him…”
"We have, Gin has tried twice. The first time is what brought him here to live with us. The second time." Kisuke sighed adjusting his hat. "Tervaden assisted in saving him."
”Vale…” Kenji groaned. “What’s Kita going to do about that? About Kadaj?” He watched as his father shook his head. “Hey…if this god of yours has a knack for butting into things…Why not ask for a trade? Vale for Aizen. Shove his ass in hell. We really wouldn’t have to worry about him the …”

"That so called God is mine and Aizen's father, your grandfather. Your uncle might be the biggest prick that walked the realms. But no father wants their son in hell." He smiled at his son. "So he did the next best thing."
He adjusted his hat once more, "He made me and Aizen equals in power, and since we are now immortal it will just be an all out brawl between us if it ever comes to a physical fight." Kisuke sighed casting his eyes down. "I just hope with the loss of his powers it might humble him some."

Kenji narrowed his eyes at his father. "Now is not the time to make jokes, dad. I was being serious." He rubbed the back of his head and exhaled loudly. "What would you say to training me? It might help with the way I've been feeling. And, to be honest, bankai or not...I'm not strong enough to captain much of anything."
"I'd be honored to train my boy!"
Kenji smiled. "I might feel like I am right now, dad, but I'm not a kid."
"And, I don't care how old you get. You're still my boy. Always will be. But, don't think that means I'm going to go easy on you."
"I'm an Urahara..." Kenji gave a half-hearted laugh. "There's no such thing as easy."

"Exactly," he chuckled as he softly elbowed Kenji. "Well"--he stood from the bed's edge, looking at his son--"your mother said dinner was nearly done, and if you want me to train you, you are going to need all the nutrition you can get. So up with ya. Don't want to lose steam in the middle of training."Kenji smiled and lifted from the bed as well. "I am more worried about upsetting mom for not being at the table in time, then I am about running out of energy." Kisuke raised a brow, "and there's that."The two chuckled softly as they made their way from his room back out to the dining room.--END RP-- "His Sister"

Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: Deep RenewalEpisode 358 "Goodbye, Urahara Boy": Kenji let the door slam behind him. He attempted to seal the door using Kido...But he was, by no means, a skilled practitioner. Feeling his body tense, Kenji walked over to his bed. He did not sit. Instead, he grabbed the nightstand beside his bed by one of its legs and threw it across the room. He reached out and grabbed the frame of his bed and drug it across the floor. Like the nightstand, it was tossed to the other side of the room.
Screaming at the top of his lungs, Kenji clenched his fist and doubled over in his rage. For as much as he tried, he couldn't stop the tears from filling his eyes. He fell to his knees with his arms wrapped around him. As he sat there, letting the tears fall freely. After a few moments, his rage subsided.
"...Okay..." He nodded to himself. "Okay..."
Kenji stood up slowly and wiped his face. He walked over to the shelf close to the closet and untied the zanpakuto at his side. He placed it on the shelf. Kenji walked over to the window where he bed used to be and opened it. He crawled out of the window and then shut it behind him. Kenji stayed by the window, looking in, just long enough to see his father walk in. Their eyes met before Kenji disappeared in a flash of shunpo.END RP "Fractured Again"
