Kisuke nodded walking up to the table beside Seto. "Can you think of anything else? We have to have an edge over the Ayakashi. Without it we are out numbered. It takes two to thr--"
"You're changing the subject!" Kita belted out grabbing the file from the table so to take their attention off it. Her head started shaking madly. "I won't let you take my part of the blame for what happen, Seto! I won't!"
She hit him across the chest with the file as he took hold of it, Kita turning and walking away from them straight toward Byakuya. "KITA!" Kisuke called out to her as Byakuya lifted from his chair ready for anything.
She stopped in front of him and extended both her arms. "Don't let them do this, Captain Kuchiki. You uphold the law here. Arrest the right one for the right crimes. I want no shifting of the guilt here."
Kisuke walked up behind her as his hand touched her shoulder. "Kita."
"No," she shrugged him off and side stepped to get away from him. "Don't make me do something to make him arrest me."
"Kita." Kisuke stepped toward her as she stepped back, Byakuya's hand going to his shoulder stopping him as he stepped forward toward her again.

“If she doesn’t answer for her crime, shopkeeper, or you protect her, again,” he emphasized, “then there may be very little purpose to this event.” His eyes switched to Vale Tervaden, now Seto Tetsuya again, then to the brooding figure of Gin Ichimaru. “I am sure in your mind and many others here that choosing how to deal with them is not as important as making sure certain women aren’t hunted down for their roles.”

Kisuke looked at the guilty, than back to Byakuya. "Its a fair hearing I want them to have. Not a Firing Squad." He looked back to the captains still sitting around the table. "We will be taking a break. Go check on your divisions and be back here in thirty minute."
He turned to Tenshin and his men. "Go back to..." he paused and looked to the man and the others with him. "To wherever it is you go after you do what you do."
He turned again and looked at Byakuya. "I want Yumiko found before anyone else finds her. When news gets out we have the others, but they see her out walking around. Things might not work out too well in her favor."

"You should speak plainly, Urahara." Toshiro looked to the grinning Zaraki. "For everyone to understand. You are concerned that many will go after Ryouma for her part in all of this. And, without Captain Ukitake to shield her from what little he can, you fear Ryouma will be consumed by lady Komamura's witch hunt."
"This is not a witch hunt."
"Ya sure?" grunted Shinji. "None of them look like that bastard Aizen to me. And, he's the one we are really want."
"Not like we're ever going to get him!" grinned Zaraki. "But, I'd like a go at those two in the mean time."
"Hirako is right. For as much as these three deserve some sort of punishment, we don't want them. We want Sousuke Aizen. Their persecution won't draw him out."

“Then pray tell what is the real purpose of this mess, besides saving the ladies fair,” Gin quipped. The guards nearest him set a hand to their blades. His grin grew. At least this part about his life hadn’t changed. And it would distract him from the challenge from a certain person until someone else was occupied. He focused on Kisuke.
For now.
“It’s not like most have ever trusted me, and your newly transformed ‘Testuya’ has faced the same thing since he broke and killed his division. Unless you’re going to waste your time, go through the phases, and lock us up, what is it that you hope to nix with this fix you’re set up to rule? Shortie's right. Aizen-san won't come out of the woodwork to stop it. That's not how it works over there."

Before the captains stood and could leave the room Kisuke lifted a hand, stopping them. "I want an honest opinions from each of you. I have two questions I want to see a show of hands for each when I ask them."
The group sat back down as Kisuke stepped up to the table where he was standing. "First question." Kisuke looked to Kita and the other two. He started shaking his head getting a change of heart about what was going to happen next.
"No. No questions." He looked back to the Captain. "I am letting them go. No matter how great you think their crimes are, they are nothing compared to Aizen's, and being there and seeing. Not hearing. But seeing, the hell Aizen inflicted on them they handled it better than most of us would." He turned and looked at the three standing behind him. "You're free to go."

Gin chuckled. “I thought so,” he muttered. As some of the captains started to mutter, Gin broke free of his bindings and strode across the room to Kita’s side. “Now, I think, dearie, it is time we had a talk. And I got to see this place you’re hiding in.” His eyes slid to Seto’s for a moment and then he lifted Kadaj out of Nanao’s arms. “And why do your kids grow up so fast? You’re how old now, little monster~?”

Breaking free of his restraints, Seto quickly grabbed his son by the back of the kimono and pulled him away from Ichimaru. With his other hand, he grabbed Ichimaru by the throat. "I am only going to say this once," Seto walked forward, pushing Ichimaru away from Kita.
"Is this the usual threat, Wolf?" grinned Gin.
Seto stopped walking. "No. This isn't the usual threat, Ichimaru. But, we're not going to play this game. There is no talk to be had with my wife. There is no finding where we live. For over two decades you left Kita hanging on by a thread. The string's been cut, Ichimaru. There's nothing for you here."
At the sound of Urahara calling his name, Seto released Ichimaru. Seto lifted a finger and pointed it toward Ichimaru. "IF you so much as breath to think about coming near them again, I will deal with you in ways that will make your three years with Teruo look like absolutely nothing." Seto pushed Ichimaru away. "Don't try me, boy. Just don't..."

Ichimaru seized Seto by the collar of his kimono and pulled him close, willfully ignoring the shopkeeper and his heart. “So let me get this straight, Seto,” he sneered. “You are going to let her eldest son see her. You are going to let her father see her. But you’re not going to let her see the one who was closest to her - who saved her neck from Aizen’s game? Are you that insecure about your grip on her? Or are there just certain visitors that you can control?”
Gin paused.
"And if I had been anywhere else but the damned gates of hell, Wolf, Teruo would have needed more years to chip at me. What's another nightmare to someone who drowned himself in them for centuries?" He released Seto. "Try me, boy, all you want, but as long as you are sticking to Kita, I am not going away."

Seto grinned at Ichimaru, his grin widening as his son slipped from his grasp. "Insecurities? No. Ichimaru, this isn't about that at all. This is about keeping my wife safe and away from the people who hurt her the most - You and Aizen."
Crossing his arms over his chest, Seto faced Ichimaru, his grin still wide. "Let me explain something to you, child. You had your time with her. She cherished you. Loved you. Waited for you. And, while she was doing that, you only managed to prove how little you cared for her. Your own insecurities kept you on a blurred line. You enjoy indecision. The grey area. The negative space."
"The problem is that you believe that there is no one intelligent enough to see through your bullshit." Seto stepped closer to Ichimaru. "We see though it, Gin. Every bit of it. Do yourself a favor, be honest with yourself. You're no fox. You're the stray. Go back to Las Noches, where you want to be. Where you feel safest. Where you belong. "
Seto turned and walked away from Ichimaru. "This is done, Ichimaru. Stay away from her. Or, I will kill you."

As Seto walked toward her and their son, then stopped in front of her, Kita spoke softly to him. "Seto please." Her hand resting to his arms as she spoke to him. "I understand what you are saying, but never once have I seen Gin as someone that has done what Aizen has done to me." She looked over at Gin and sighed as her eyes lowered from him and she looked back to Seto. "Yes I waited for him for two decades, but I guess I always knew he would never ask. He is not the type to be tied to someone or even something."
She shook her head, "don't do this. He and I still have Sojiro between us. This would break Sojiro's heart to know he could not be around me and his father at the same time. Please. Gin and I can at least still be friends."

"You defend him?" asked Seto, stepping away from his wife. "The deeds may not have been the same as what Aizen did to you. But, the damage is the same! And, you defend him!" Seto turned away angrily. "Sojiro is a grown man, now! He wants a relationship with him, let him. But, he doesn't have to have one with you!"
"Seto!"
"You heard him, Kita! He doesn't want to linger because of Sojiro. He wants to stay by you because I am here! This is another game for him. It's a game, Kita. Quit letting him playing it. Kisuke!" Seto turned toward Urahara. "You see through this shit. You heard what he said."
"And, I heard what you said."
"Then, understand that I am serious. I will end him before I let him continue on with his childish bullshit!"

Kisuke eyes drifted from one to another, then rested to Kita. He walked up to her as his hand went behind her head and he tugged her gently forward. Pressing his lips to her forehead he whispered softly.
"You choose your life. Go home with your husband and rejoice over the new life inside you."
He stepped back from Kita and looked to Seto. "Take them home."

"So, you're not going to do anything?" questioned Seto. Feeling Kita's hand in his, Seto looked to his wife. He shook his head. "Kita..." Placing his free hand on her belly, he smiled. Seto sighed heavily and looked to Urahara.
"What would you do? If you were me..."
Kisuke adjusted his hat as he looked to Kita then to Seto. "I would protect the ones I love from all that would do them harm." His eyes drifted to Gin. "Not from the ones that had protected them from harm."
"He was the reason for most of her harm." grunted Seto. "So, I'm going to protect her from it."

Kisuke wanting to get this show on the road looked over to the Captains then back to Kita, Seto and Gin. “You two. Go home.” His eyes drifted to Gin. “I want you to hang out here. We need to talk.” Gin’s eyes remained locked onto Seto's until he turned and walked away, an arm around Kita, who looked back. Once. Then, he turned to Kisuke. "Did I hear you correctly? With the current atmosphere, you want me to -- hang out here -- in the Soul Society?” He grinned. Kisuke turned from him nodding his head, “yes, is that so hard to understand?” He adjusted his hat and sighed. “Just stay out of trouble, and be at my office in two hours.” He heard Gin disappear. Shaking his head he looked to the Captains. “You’re all dismissed.” When they looked at him confused, he adjusted his hat. “Ryo set this meeting off on the wrong foot. Take a break and in a few days we will reconvene this meeting. It will give me a chance to talk to the Captains of the divisions that are getting the most changes.” The captains nodded. “If you have any questions, you know where you can find me. Also, if you have any ideas, now is the time to bring them to the table when we reconvene.” He looked to Tsukiro as he lifted to leave. He pointed to the baby Captain. “You however, need to go to first division, with your Lieutenant. I want to talk to the two of you. Give me thirty minutes then head that way.” Tsukiro nodded with a questioning look, but left with the others, making his own path to go check on his division and let Kairo know the Commander needed to speak with them. After everyone was out, Kisuke started helping Nanano clean up the food, dishes and cups. Their chit-chat was minimal, but Kisuke knew, like the others, she was hesitant for some of the changes. It made him wonder if Kyoraku would have met the same resistance with her. Once the mess was cleaned up, Kisuke left for his office to go met up with the two boys.
