"The Rusted Shield":"Captain Commander Shunsui Kyoraku." Koga's voice echoed in the dark of the cell walls. "It is rather odd to see Humanity's Shield in such a state of decay." His violet eyes glowed in the dark of the room. He stepped out of the shadows, arms crossed behind his back.
Stepping close to the cell wall, a smirk formed on the Espada's lips. The Captain Commander was slumped over in a large chair, chained to the center of the cell. A fraccion sat beside him, tending to the broken Commander. Koga waved a hand, dismissing the fraccion.
"You are not a hollow shell, Commander. Speak the words that rattle about in that head of yours."

A low rumble answered him. “Why does a rabbit that ruins the Gotei’s honor as he will knock at my door?” Shunsui slowly lifted his head. His eyes were dull with a strange orange light to the dazed glass-like appearance. “Come to laugh or dance before me before stealing another maiden away to scar, hmmm?”
"Or perhaps...." He shifted in his chains but didn't really see them. There was just too much tired weight to his body. "Another friend will pay the price of losing a gamble against your kind... But then again... you took the best of us..... didn't you?"

"I had no hand in the capture of your people, Commander." replied Koga. "As for your women, I use who I must without the slightest regard for their feelings." Koga stood in front of the cell door, lavender eyes locked on the bound man before him.
"I will not trouble you for too long, Commander. I simply wish to learn something from you, if you do not mind."

“You are a … despicable creature,” the commander muttered. “The Gods were laughing at us when they created you…. but then again…. they created Sousuke and Vale…. and set good women in their path to ruin…. For good men… to rescue….someday.” Shunsui sighed and lowered his head from the intense gaze of the espada. “What is so unsettling to you, Rabbit?”

As the door to the cell creaked open and Koga made his way toward the bound Commander, he smiled. "Nothing is unsettling. So long as it is within reach. So long as I can touch it. I can obtain whatever it is I am after. And, right now..."
Koga lifted his hand, placing it gently to the top of the Commander's head. Moments later, his hand slid from the man's head. Koga turned on his heels, walking back toward the door of the cell. "Thank you, Commander." Koga raised his hand, smiling as he looked at it.
"Thank you."

Kyoraku’s eyes narrowed. “I did nothing for you…..nothing that I will not avenge if you take…” his eyes drifted lower, “Soul Society… Yama… would be very disappointed… Before the war…. I will prepare measures…. Fourth Division… the Academy…..I will need keepers……”

"To unlock the door, one must have a key, a lock and most importantly..." Koga glanced over his shoulder as the sound of the cell locked. A fraccion scurried back into the room as Koga walked toward the door.
"You need a door."

“The door is the easiest of those to find….” Shunsui muttered, lifting his head again. For a moment, his eyes cleared. “And if there isn’t one, you make one.” He started to stand before the chains pulled him back down. “Still tired from my last battle with Vale…. Next time we meet, before he can take Soul Society from me, he will have to defeat… me. Nanao… will be away… on my orders."

Koga chuckled. "Master Tervaden has already taken the Soul Society from you." Stopping in the doorway, Koga turned to face the cell once more. He crossed his arms behind his back, as his lavender eyes focused to the bound man.
"Two of three rule forever. One unexpected, reigns. In place of a king, a hollow man. A stone heavy in hand. A blade sharp enough to end. Not Commander or King, but something of the kind."

"The Last Six Months": (continued) Shunsui Kyoraku’s head bowed as he sneezed. Chuckling, his dark eyes narrowed, a faint glitter growing from their depths. “If that is the damned God in my head, make yourself known,” he growled. His room remained dark, humming with the power of his confines. He reached up and rubbed at his collar. Slowly but surely, the Captain Commander’s consciousness had returned to him. Though it had taken a visit from the dark seer Koga to break through the dark dreams and premonitions. For reality to clear before him. And to believe that the Gotei had fallen to the darkness that slithered through the halls of Las Noches. But the fact hadn’t broken the lord of Soul Society. One night, after he'd fallen asleep in his chair, recalling old methods of strengthening his mind, and had awakened in a new dim room. A small skylight let a sliver of light through. The chained chair was gone as were the chains around his body. They had been replaced with a room that hummed with the power of the seals confining him and a thick steel collar around his neck. Sousuke’s hand was evident in the seals, as if taunting and welcoming him home at the same time. As if he was a trophy beast tamed and ready to learn new tricks. He disliked it. He didn’t hate it though. Decades locked in the dark embrace with the God of Fire seemed to have done that to him. He was already used to despair and heartache nipping at his strength. And he had started to see things from the darker side of the spectrum of justice. Something that would have made his former self swallow a whole barrel of cheap ale. He had yet to see either of the men who ruled Las Noches, but he had seen Juushiro briefly a couple times in the garden when the Ayakashi or the Cero Espada had escorted him outside for some air and exercise. His old friend had looked sickly the first time, reaching a point inside himself that Shunsui had buried. But on the second meeting, it seemed he had started to recover. The two kept their words brief, fleeting. Waiting for the Lords of Las Noches to make their move. Shunsui lowered himself to the ground. Until his meal came he would be doing pushups. He hoped whatever it was to come would not have his friend sacrificing as much as he had already for the sake of his word as a Captain of the Gotei. “Keep the torch alive, Juushiro,” he murmured, lowering himself. “Keep it burning.” Fade

"Pandora's Box": (continued) Shunsui was also awake but not seditary, slowly moving up and down doing push ups. His eyes were closed, meditating at the same time. Restoring the lost reiatsu as fast as he could. Through physical labor. His hands clenched and unclenched. His shoulders were screaming at him to stop. But he would not let Aizen do the same thing he had to him to Juushiro. He needed to break the chain on him. Sighing he leaned against the cold wall of his cell. “How long will it be…” he murmured. “How long will it be before you woe Nanao?” came a cheery voice. Kisuke grinned from beneath his hat. “Much longer than you fear if you can’t get off your old ass~” Shunsui blinked. “What took you so long, joker?” he snapped, slowly getting to his feet. “He’s getting too close.”

Kisuke's hand slid under his hat as he scratched his head. In a flash a fan appeared as he hid behind it. "I couldn't find my fan." A dark smile appeared across his lips though they could not see it, his eyes reflecting his thoughts.
"You ready to get the hell out of this so called palace?" Kisuke asked him as the fan disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

Shunsui laughed softly and folded his arms. “It’s about damn time you figured out how to disrupt your brother’s plans long enough to get this far,” he murmured. “And it will certainly raise morale that some of their highest prisoners have disappeared into thin air.” He paused. “But what about their damn fire god?”

Kisuke waved a hand. "He is to busy being a lap dog for Tervaden at the moment. He doesn't bite unless 'Master Tervaden' demands it." He looked between the two and chuckled. "As far as disrupting my brother’s plans. That's child's play. It's the right distraction that is needed to keep him at bay." His smirked grew. "And it would seem the Quincy's have done just that thing for me... Us---"
He chuckled again as he reached into his pocket and lifted a key, tossing it to Kyoraku. As he caught it, he asked. "Think you can get that by yourself?"
"I got it," Shunsui informed him.
"Ha, I figured you would. You like playing with that stuff. I am sure you felt right at home. All you were missing were the women." He looked to his friend. "Be sure that overpowering reiatsu of yours is all but covered. We don't want party poopers showing up."

Shunsui chuckled bitterly as he worked at the lock. "I am afraid it won't take that much effort to seal it now. After Aizen's pet project, it takes time to recover it." Growling under his breath, he took a breath and sealed his relatsu, taking the collar off and letting the heavy thing weigh in his hand. "Nonetheless, that's better." He stretched with a loud groan. "You think we would get used to such a link around the neck after a year, but just when you think you can, it chokes you. Finally," he grinned, "at least with this, I get to do this~" He walked over to his bed and clapped the collar around the light pillow. He set it against the wall.
“Let’s go~”
Juushiro chuckled. "Someone wishes he could watch the chaos after we are gone. Though .... what do you mean by Aizen's project?"
Shunsui set a hand on his head, frowning at the lack of his hat. "I will explain later. And it's a small inkling in my vengeance," he winked.
