"A Love Lost": (Continued) Vale stumbled as he appeared in the upstairs hallway. Hearing the playful banter and laughter below him, Vale shunpo'd to the top of the stairs. As he began down the stairs, he stopped and glanced over his shoulders. There she stood, a few feet away and arms filled with dishes. "Yumiko..." whispered Vale, turning and walking back up the stairs. He shunpo'd over to Yumiko, taking her in his arms. She dropped the dishes in her hands as she wrapped her arms around him. "Yumiko..."

“Vale…”
Yumiko took a shuddering breath and tucked her head into his bare chest, breathing in again, her hands tightening around him. “Damn it, Vale…” she murmured thickly. “You were gone so long…. even after you saved Ichimaru…. and you didn’t appear….” She sniffed, trying to keep her tears back.
“I missed you so much..."

"I know. I know." said Vale, kissing the top of Yumiko's head. "And, I'm sorry. I didn't think you'd care. And, you went back home. I didn't..." Vale shook his head.
"You didn't, what?" asked Yumiko.
"I didn't want what happened the last time, to happen again." Vale buried his face in Yumiko's hair, closing his eyes as he took in her scent.

Yumiko turned her head and laid a kiss under his heart. “It doesn’t matter. It’s in the past. You came back. After everything we did to each other….. “ she kissed him over his chest again, “you’re still holding me.” She lifted her head, smiled, and wrapped her arms around his neck, tugging him closer to her, closing her eyes and listening to their heartbeats. “Thank you….”
She stayed like that, silent, letting her tears calm, for a few moments. "Are you hurt? You...you were gone a long time...."

Vale loosened his hold on Yumiko, his arms falling to her hips. His eyes fell on the door of Kadaj's room. Then, to the room across the hall. Kita's room. He could sense that she was not alone and that she was in distress. "Yumiko...I'll be right back." Vale walked passed Yumiko, toward Kita's room. "I'll be back." He walked up to the door, not opening it until Yumiko had returned downstairs. Vale slowly pushed opened the door to the room. Moved (merged) |

"Lost Love's Troubles":Kisuke bolted past Sojiro and Vacanze, Vacanze right behind him as they headed up the stairs. Moving quickly past Yumiko and Raelin as the cleaned up the broken dishes in the hall, Kisuke moved toward the master bedroom door. When he approached it he could feel the sealing Kido around the door. He growled and looked to Vacanze. The Espada nodded and they both fired a small Kido and Cero into the door as it burst open the two immediately darted into the room. Moved
