Sojiro smiled slightly at her. “I can’t hate you, Mom, and I don’t think I can hate Vale either. I had accepted him as a part of the family a while ago after all. However,” he looked aside, “this still seems sudden and with all that’s happened, it’s bittersweet for me. I guess that’s why I said that.” He embraced his mom, chuckling as Kadaj leaped into the hug from the ground, trying to reach both of them at the same time. “I love you, Mom, and I am sorry I said it. Just …. please be happy. No matter what.” His arms tightened around her.

Kita returned his hug, hugging Kadaj as well, kissing his cheek sweetly she smiled about to say something when Kadaj broke in with a stomp of his foot and a huff.
"Where mine?" His arms crossed over his chest, his bottom lips pushed out a scowl look on his face. "I wan' one, mommy!"
Kita giggled softly and knelled in front of her youngest giving him a kiss on the cheek as well. She then brushed his dark hair from his face and looked up at Sojiro. "I am very happy. I could not ask for more." She reached up taking his hand into her and Kadaj's hand in her other one. "I have my boys and a man that loves me in return and wants to make a family with me. I am happy."

Kisuke smiled at the exchange between a mother and her sons. Enjoying the view he walked up to them slowly letting them have their time. Once the hugging and kissing and tears were over he stepped up to the small family group, his arms out wide.
“Got room for one more?” He pouted when they laughed softly at him then wrapped his arms tightly around them when they stepped toward him. “I could not ask for a better family.” He kissed the top of each of their heads.
As they broke the embrace he kissed his daughter on the cheek and smiled brightly. “You ready to get this over with?”
She nodded slowly as he placed his hand to the hilt of his sword as he told them. “This will only take a second.”
“KISUKE!” Kita screamed as she lunged forward grabbing his arm.
He started to chuckle, as his hand lifted, a single finger over his lips. “Shhh,” he chuckled some more giving her a hug. “I was kidding.” He whispered in her ear softly. “You really do love him don’t you?”
“Yes, yes I do.” Kita replied as they broke from the embrace.
He cupped her cheek and smiled warmly. “Then let’s get you two married.” His thumb brushed gently against her cheek as he then took his place at her side offering his arm. She linked her arm with his as the two stepped forward.

Vale looked up, seeing Kita and Urahara begin their walk down the short aisle. He gave a nervous chuckle as he walked over and stood next to his brother beneath the arch. His smile grew as Kadaj pulled Sojiro along as they followed behind Urahara and Kita.
"Beautiful..." whispered Vale.
"Yes, she is. But, if you continue shaking, she's going to start walking the other way."
Vale glanced over to his brother and smiled. He hadn't realized that he had been shaking. He took a deep breath, allowing himself to relax.
"Are you ready?"
Vale nodded. "Yeah. Yeah. I'm ready."

The two stepped up to the alter as Kisuke looked to Vale and bowed. Vale so entranced by Kita, Satoshi had to give Vale a nudge to get his attention on his soon to be father-in law. Kita giggled silently her eyes giving a twinkle as Vale bowed to Kisuke then turned quickly back to her. He took her hands in his and the two stepped closer to one another.
"You look very stunning in your wedding attire, my love."
Vale smiled, "thank you, love. And you are as beautiful as the sunrise and as enchanting as the sunset."
Kita blushed softly giving his hands a tender squeeze. "I love you."

"I love you." Vale whispered to his bride. She squeezed his hand gently as tear began to pool in her eyes. Letting go of one of her hands, Vale wiped away a falling tear. "None of that, love."
"Friends...Family...Captain Commander." began Satoshi with a smile. "We are here today, to unite this...human and Soul Reaper. An occasion such as this would, at one time, been done in secrecy. Such a union would be frowned upon. And, it is. A human and a Soul Reaper. Vale Tervaden and Kita Miyamoto."
"Keep it short..." grunted Vale through a half forced smile.
Satoshi chuckled. "In each other they've found a light that rids them of the darkness. They've brought life into this world. And, I do believe, there is no force in all the realms that could tear them apart. They are far too stubborn for that."
"Short, Satoshi." grunted Vale. He turned and looked at his brother. "As in not long."
Satoshi shook his head. "Is there a soul here or elsewhere that believes that these two should not wed? If there is, bite your tongue and sit on your hands. I'm more than fairly certain, these two don't care."
"And, I don't!" shouted Vale. "And, yes! I do take this beautiful woman to be my wife until well beyond the end of time. Yes! She has chosen me to wed!" Vale laughed as he looked to Satoshi once more. "May I please kiss my bride, now?!"

Kita's smile grew wider with the banter that was going on between Vale and his brother. When Vale spouted out his vows she looked at his seriously her giggling smile truing to a warm smile.
"And I take you Vale Tervaden to be my wedded husband. I do."
She then leaned in closer to him and whispered for his ears only. "Are you in a hurry to get the honeymoon started?"
She drew back slightly and looked into his eyes. "Where are we going for it anyway?"

"I am not much for the formalities of a wedding." whispered Vale. "Besides, I want you to spend as much time with your family as you can."
Vale stepped back and looked to his brother, then to the crowd. Finally, he looked to his bride. "If you all don't mind, I would like to leave the name of Vale Tervaden behind."
Looking to Urahara, Vale sighed. "My name is Seto Tetsuya." He hung his head, as if ashamed.

Kita cupped Vale's cheek lifting his head to look at her. Her head shook slightly almost like a scolding for lowering his head, she then whispered to him. "Is that what you want, love?"
Vale nodded slowly a serious look on his face. She only smiled and nodded in return.
Kisuke smiled combing his fingers through his hair. "Seto Tetsuya." He nodded his head slowly. "It fits you better than Vale Tervaden." He walked up to him placing his hand to his shoulder. "Where the hell did you come by a name like that anyway?"
Kita looked to Kisuke then back to Satoshi. Before she could say anything to him Satoshi raised his arms and announced.
"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Vale then grabbed Kita up in his arms pressing his lips to hers. When they parted from the kiss Kita looked deep into his eyes with a bright smile. "I love you, Seto Tetsuya."

Vale laughed, wrapping his arms around his bride. "I love you, Kita Tetsuya." He pressed his lips to hers in a heated kiss. Vale pulled away from the kiss, hearing Kadaj laugh and giggle at their kiss.
"Ew!!" shouted Kadaj, putting his hands over his mouth. "Yucky!"
Vale shook a playful fist at his son. "I'll give you yucky!"
Kadaj hid behind Sojiro, still giggling at the kiss. Vale shook his head as he pulled Kita close again. "I apologize if that seems rushed, love. I don't think I would have made it through Satoshi's dragging speech."

She smiled and kissed his cheek. "That is fine." She leaned back in his hold. "But you never told me where we were going for the honeymoon. So where are we going?"
"It's a secret." Vale winked at his wife. "But, if you must know..." Vale leaned closer and whispered in her ear. "It's a secret."
Kita slapped at his chest playfully. "Smartass," she called him as she giggled softly. She turned and looked at the one gathering behind Kisuke. She smiled warmly at them then ask.
"So who wants dinner, drinks and a piece of wedding cake?"

Vale shook his head. "Not yet. I owe you something." Vale reached into his kimono and pulled out a ring. He put the ring on her finger. "There." said Vale with a smile. "Now, it is official. You are a Tetsuya."
"I am with or without this ring." Kita smiled at Vale, raising a hand and gently rubbing his cheek. "Thank you, Seto."
"You're welcome, love." Vale turned to face his family. "Now...Let's eat!"

Kita took Kadaj's hand as he ran up between her and his father. He then reached up taking a hold of his fathers. She then looked over to her eldest as he walked beside her she slid her hand into his.
"I love you." She staggered slightly as she playfully bumped into him.
Sojiro looked to his mother and smiled in return. "I love you to mom."
"Why so glum? You should be smiling this is a joyous day." Kita reminded him.
Sojiro shook his head. "I am happy for you and Vale mom. I just have a lot of other things on my mind. Things I need to get sorted out."
"Do you need to talk about it?" She looked over at Vale as he was talking to his brother that was walking beside him. She turned back to Sojiro. "I am sure I can get away for us to talk."

Sojiro hesitated and then shook his head again with a wider smile. “Not this time, Mom. It’s your day. Your time to be happy. I'm nineteen and nearly done with the Academy. I’m not about to ruin your day for the confusing stuff in my head. That's for Tsuki or Kisuke to deal with now. Besides,” he shrugged, "Vale and Daj will definitely pout if I said something to dampen this moment - even on accident."

Kita squeezed his hand gently as she smiled at him. Then looked ahead of them as they walked. "You know what you need?"
Sojiro looked her way again and hummed, "hmm?"
"A girl." She looked his way once more then looked ahead of them again. "You are nineteen. I am surprised you have not beating them them off you for the last three years..." she paused her eyes adverting to him again with a sly smile.
"Or have you just been playing the field with all the girls?" She glanced over at Kisuke. "Like your Grandfather."
"Mom!!"
Kisuke piped up. "I will have you know I am a one woman man."
"One woman a day or has that changed to a week now?" Yoruichi asked chuckling as her arm linked with his.
Kita laughed aloud at the two of them as her head shook slowly. "I think you would kill him if he did that Yoruichi."
