"Mead":After finishing up with all his paperwork Yorusuke picked up one of the files that got shuffled in with his that should have stayed with his captain. He figured he would drop it off to him on his way through to go visit Captain Kotetsu for his monthly checkup. It was a checkup that was getting rather annoying in his books, but so far he had not been able to get out of it. Though, he could not blame them for wanting to be sure, and he had to admit he wanted to know as well. He just wished the visits would hurry and shed some light on what they were missing-or in reality-what he was missing. Ever since that day during the takeover, that day, he stood in his cell looking out the small window in his cell. He watched as one of the Ayakashi kill one of this own. What happen? It was not like he had not watched many others of his own being killed by an Ayakashi, an Espada or even a lowly Hollow. However, that day was different. After he watched the death of the man an undeniable rage washed over him. He remembered grabbing the bars on the window. From there, his memories blackout; the next recorded memory was him waking up in the streets almost a week after the takeover ended. Yorusuke’s hand lifted to his head as he rubbed his temple. “What happened to me?” He spoke softly as he walked straight into a beautiful woman that was walking down the division’s corridor.

The young man she collided with dropped the papers in his hand when they ran into one another. Saya almost dropped the lunch she had brought for Byakuya. She knelled down smiling brightly as the young man apologized over and over again for not paying attention as he knelled down with her to get the papers himself.
As he grabbed the last piece he shot up and bowed deeply to her. "I am so very sorry, my lady. I was so deep into thought I was not paying attention to where I was going. Please forgive me."
Saya could not help but giggle softly at him as she rested her hand to his shoulder. "Please. It was an accident. There was no harm done. Please stand."
The young man did as she request as he lifted to face her. His face was beat red from embarrassment as he fumbled with the papers in his hands trying to sort them into order. Saya giggled again and bowed herself. "I am Tori--Saya Tori."

"Lady Tori," the young man bowed again. "Nagano Yorusuke, Fifth seat to Captain Kuchiki of the Sixth division." He stood from his bow and looked at her. She was dressed in civilian clothing. So why was she there? Was there an issue somewhere? He shook his head and decided instead of gazing at her beauty and pondering her problem he would ask.
"Is there something I can help you with?"
She shook her head slowly and looked away from him toward a door that was sliding slowly open. It was the door to his captain's office. He turned and bowed as the man stepped from his office.
"Captain Kuchiki, sir. I do hope the commotion out here did not disturb you. If so my apologizes, sir."

“It did not,” the noble captain replied shortly. “I was on my way towards the door at the time.” He looked to Saya for a moment, nodding his head to her. “Lady Tori, if would wait in my office, I have a few words to say to my subordinate.”
She smiled. “Of course. I don’t mind.” She bowed to them both and entered the office when Byakuya stepped aside.
Byakuya closed the door after her, turning back to Nagano. “Officer Nagano, obey Captain Kotetsu’s orders after your examination is complete - even if it is to take a break from your duties for a certain time period. There are enough orders to pass down without having to send someone to look for you if you were to attempt something on your own at this time.”

Yorusuke looked at his captain in confusion, "Attempt something on your own at this time?" He thought to himself. "Does he not trust me?" His head shook trying to dismiss the thoughts as he bowed to his captain.
"Yes sir, but I am not sure what you mean by attempting something? I have been fine since I have returned. That's why Captain Kotetsu let me return back to work. No blackouts. No laps of memories and my emotions have been pretty well in check." He started to chuckle his eyes adverting to his captain's door.
"Sometimes a little to well in check." He jested under his breath. He looked back to his captain seeing a displeased look in his eyes. "Sorry Captain, she is just--" He was cut off by his captain disapproval of his words and actions.

“I do not need to hear more words on that matter,” Kuchiki declared. “It has nothing to do with your duties.”
He folded his arms, his voice like a whip. “The captains were killed less than a week ago, Fifth Seat. We don’t know why it happened. But every detail we can find outside of their deaths could be important.” He turned around, placing his hand on the door but not opening it yet. “We do not know why you had blackouts, but at this time, nothing should be overlooked and nothing should be changed without prior knowledge. Keep to your orders, Officer, and do not question them."

Yorusuke bowed to his captain, "yes, sir. I understand." He stood realizing he was still holding the file. As his captain started to slide the door open he stepped toward him. "Captain, I almost forgot." He tried to peek in the office with the slight opening in the door, it quickly closed and Byakuya turned to him. The file was extended to the man as he took it from his hand. "You're dismissed, Nagano." Byakuya told him the file now in his possession. Yorusuke nodded with another quick bow as he turned and stepped away from his captain. As the man slid the door again and step into his office, Yorusuke looked back over his shoulder. A soft chuckle escaping him and a smirk across his lips. Moved

"Funds Report:"
It was after lunch at the academy when Makino decided to to take the hour break she had from lessons and take her finalized reports on the festival funds to Byakuya. She had found some that were spent frivolously on personal items on the girls that were part of the Event Committee, about 3,000 yen to be exact. Even Ayako was foolish enough to do this. The sad part was it was horribly covered up. There also seemed to be funds spent twice on the same things and over charges from Merchants and Entertainers they acquired for the festival. Makino was not sure how to get these over charges or double payment back. Not to mention the money the girls spent on themselves.
With the information she uncovered from the Ukitake Donation, it seemed they tried to get the Academy Board to release it to them as well for the festival from what the Secretary of Treasury told her, it was only a day before they came crawling to her and Allura to ask for help. At least in that fact they were not able to get their hands on that money to spend like fools.
As she walked down the hall in the Sixth Division to Byakuya's office many scenarios of how to get the money back played in her head. However, she did not know if that was within her power. So bringing it to Byakuya was the next best thing since it was his division that policed the Seireitei in matters like this, but then again this was an Academy matter. Even if he could not do anything in this case he could tell her the next best place to go to get this taken care of.
As she turned the corner to his office a tall handsome redhead stepped in front of his office door and was about to knock when he turned and looked her direction. She smiled brightly with a soft giggle when he put his hands on his hips and tried to give her a scowl look.
"You're bad at this Lieutenant Abarai." Makino informed him in his failed attempt to scold her.

"Well...yeah. It's kind of hard to scold a cute girl." His head shook slowly, "and it is Renji. How many times do I have to tell you that?
"I think Byakuya-sama would frown on me for calling you that while you're on duty. After all, I am a candidate for the Gotei." "He allows you to call him Byakuya-sama while he is on duty. I don't think he will mind you calling me Renji. Anyway, that is neither here nor there. Where is your escort?"
"I scared him away. I don't need one anymore. I am fine." Makino told him.
"Oh! I think we will let Captain Kuchiki determine that one." He turned toward the door and knocked. He then looked back to Makino as they waited for Byakuya to tell them to enter. "What brings you to Sixth Division?"

"I was able to finish up my reports on the festival funds this morning and I wanted to share them with Byakuya-sama. There are somethings that don't make sense and things that should have never taken place, and I mean some bad things that should have never taken place. Since I have never dealt with something like this I came to the best place to get information."
"Oops," Renji replied. "I am guessing someone had their fingers where they did not belong?"
Makino nodded slowly as she adjusted her report in her arms. Just then, Byakuya told them to enter. Renji slid the door as they both stepped in and bowed to the Captain.

Renji looked to Makino as she stood there silently looking at him, with a motion of her head she gestured for him to go first. Renji smiled at her and looked back to Byakuya. "Captain Kuchiki, Sir. The men have finished their drills and I have given them their orders for the day. Some I have sent on lunch. They know their orders when they return. So all is taken care of in that area. As far as Fifth Seat Nagano; Sir, I cannot locate him. He has not reported in since Friday morning and I cannot sense him anywhere in the Seireitei. What would you like me to do about that?"
His captain looked to Makino from the corner of his eyes as he looked back to Renji. "We will discuses that at a later time."
Renji nodded swiftly. "Yes Sir. Then I think I will go collect Rukia and she and I will go lunch. If there is nothing else you need me for that is."

Byakuya looked to the files on his desk and then shook his head "At the moment, there is nothing else you should do." He paused, as if considering something else and then opened a drawer, pulling out a pouch and counting some money out. He placed the amount in another pouch a tossed it to Abarai. "Take your time at the Sakura restaurant and ensure that she eats well. She barely ate dinner and breakfast. I will not allow her to miss another meal."

Renji sighed and looked at the pouch that he caught as it was tossed to him. "Request to speak freely, Captain?" Renji asked, looking from the pouch to his Captain.
Byakuya looked at him oddly causing Makino to turn as she covered her mouth and giggled ever so softly from his expression. "You may," Byakuya stated looking back to his lieutenant.
"You know I can pay for this, so why?" He held up the pouch. "I understand you worry about her, but so do I, just as much. I am and do take rather good care of her when we are together."

Byakuya’s eyes narrowed at his lieutenant and future brother-in-law. “If I doubted you could take care of her, I would have broken off your relationship, Abarai, and I wouldn’t bother being discrete about it after what has happened to her.” His lieutenant stayed silent. “I gave you the money because I reserved the balcony overlooking the river for the week. That is all. Dismissed.”
The captain picked up his quill and started writing out another report, seemingly ignoring his sometimes dense lieutenant. This was the only gesture Rukia would allow him without her believing he was questioning her strength. His lips quirked upwards. She was as stubborn as any full-blooded Kuchiki and that was through sheer determination.
He paused and noticed that Abarai was still in the room. “Dismissed, lieutenant, and if you return a moment before two hours, you will be cleaning the dojo by hand and going through the barracks for undesirables in addition to your work. Now leave!”

Renji sighed again shaking his head. He turned from his captain and looked to Makino with a bright smile. "See ya around kido, and stop ditching your escort." She only rolled her eyes at him as she watching him walk toward the door. "Oh!" Renji turned and looked at her after he slid the door open. "Tell Sojiro to pass the word to his mother. Rukia is having a Baby Shower for the girls that are due. I am sure his mother might want to attend. If she does tell her to come see Rukia before the end of next week. The first one is due in like two weeks I believe." Makino nodded to him as he turned and walked from the room closing the door behind him leaving Byakuya and her to themselves. Moved
