Riku smiled at the two Tori siblings. He gave a nod. "I have plenty of siblings of my own. I'm the youngest boy and my twin sister is the youngest girl, so I get it."
"Yeah, but I bet you have a fair amount of boys and girls. Here at the Tori home the girls are outnumbered two and a half to one." Makino claimed.
Riku giggled. "And a half?"
Shirou smirked and waved. "I am the half, of course."
Riku gave another giggle. "I may have more siblings, but you're right. There's an equal number of us and we're fairly equally spaced as well. Not to mention my eldest brother has a twin sister and then there's my twin sister. Even if it was just us four, we're still even."

Walking up to the bridge where her children were standing talking to another young man, Saya spoke. "So who do we have here?"
Makino and Shirou turned to their mother's voice as Riku just looked forward at her. "Mother," Makino started with a wide smile. "This is Riku. The young man you are painting the kimono for."
Saya smiled warmly at Riku. "Maki-chan has told me a lot about you, Riku. It's nice to finally put a face with the name."

Riku's eyes lit up and his jaw dropped. He probably stopped breathing too. It was Saya Tori in the flesh in front of him, greeting him. When Riku recovered he bowed several times to her.
"Th-thank you, Lady Tori! It's a p-pleasure to meet you!" He clenched his fists in front of him, his face flushed with excitement. "I absolutely love your kimonos! Thank you so much for painting one for me!"

Saya smiled warmly at Riku, "thank you for your kind words, Riku-chan. I hope I do your kimono proud." Saya looked between Makino and Shiro. "Koko has lunch ready. I thought I would come collect you and your brothers."
Makino nodded, "Kin is in the dojo still as far as I know. Though I am not too sure where Kouen and Hakuryuu are."
"They're already in the dining room." Saya smiled looking at Riku once more, "Will you join us for lunch?"
"Of course," Riku nodded with a bright smile. "I'd be happy to!"
Saya nodded to Riku, "I will let Koko know we will be having one more for lunch." Saya turned and started back to the main house. "Go tell Kin it is lunch time and we will see you all in the dining room."

"We will be there in a few, Mother." Makino called out to her mother. Her attention then turning to Shirou. "Do you want to go get Kin or me?"
Shirou waved a carefree hand at his baby sister. "You got him," he quickly linked his arm with Riku's, "I will show Riku to the main house and the dinning room."
Makino scoffed and turned toward the dojo, "just make sure that's all you do." Makino took off to get Kin for lunch.

Shirou giggled as he looked down at the shocked and flushed Riku. He patted the arm that was hooked around his. "Don't be so nervous, little flower. I don't bite unless you ask me to. And you're a little young to be asking me to bite you." Riku's entire face flushed as he stammered and stuttered over his words. "I-I... I don't... uh..." He had secretly wondered if Shirou was the same as him, but it didn't fully occur to him that he might be right. And now that his suspicions had been confirmed, he honestly had no idea what to do with that information. Because despite being a few years too old for him, Riku had to admit that Shirou was painfully beautiful and attractive. "Yes, I think you and I are going to be good friends~" Shirou laughed at Riku's embarrassment as he led him through the manor towards the dining room. Moved |

In the dim light of the moon, the elegant figure of Byakuya Kuchiki emerged from under a hood, his presence commanding and intense. Kouen's heart skipped a beat as he quickly dropped to one knee and lowered his head, "Kuchiki-sama."
With a swift, practiced motion, he removed his mask and pulled back his hood, revealing a face marked by both youth and experience. His dark eyes flickered with curiosity and caution as he gazed up at the nobleman. Why was Byakuya here? Neither Kin nor Mother had mentioned anything about his visit, and even if they had, why would such a man arrive under the cover of night?
Rising to his feet, Kouen bowed once more, "I am Kouen, third son of Kazuo Masanobu and Saya Tori. Did I hear you say you were here to see Kin?"Byakuya's expression remained unreadable, his eyes like cold steel as they assessed Kouen. "Yes," he replied, his voice a calm yet firm whisper that carried an air of authority and secrecy. "I have urgent matters to discuss with Kin. Lead me to him." Kouen nodded, trying to mask his unease. The presence of such a high-ranking and formidable Shinigami in their midst was both an honor and a cause for concern. He gestured for Byakuya to follow, silently praying that whatever brought him here would not disrupt the fragile balance of their clan.
As they moved through the quiet corridors, shadows dancing around them, Kouen couldn't help but wonder what urgent matter required the head of the Kuchiki clan to visit their household in the dead of night.Moved
