Tsukiro laughed. "Yeah, sure, why not."
And in that moment, Ikkaku wasted no time and lunged at him. As Ikkaku jabbed at him with his spear, Tsukiro leaned out of the way and grabbed the neck of the staff, he held him in place as he lifted his leg and slammed his foot into Ikkaku's stomach, releasing the staff at the same time, sending him flying. He turned around just in time to block Yumichika's attack from behind, fending off his sickled blade.
"Been a while since I fought side by side with you, Kai. I've got to say, I've missed it."

Kairo chuckled, with the same half smile he had worn before and weaved around and behind Yumichika, attacking his pressure points. As the fifth seat grunted, he raised his hands to knock him out but gasped as Ikkaku wrapped his twisting staff around his neck, pulling him back. Getting one hand underneath, he used the momentum of the pull to flip upwards, kicking Ikkaku in the back and flinging him backwards and landing again.

As Ikkaku flew backwards, Yumichika shook off the numbness from the pressure points and resealed his zanpakuto blocking Tsukiro's katana and grabbing his short sword with his opposite hand. He smirked, morphed his zanpakuto back into his sickle shape, and raked downwards at his arm as his katana buckled with the new shape. He slammed his head into Tsukiro's and pulled back. "That was for my teammate," he purred, "idiot though he-"
He leapt backwards, blocking furiously as Kairo tossed a few kunai knives at him. One shaved his cheek. He chuckled darkly. "I've always hated that trick of yours, Ying Yang. You better hope that doesn't scar."

Kairo chuckled, holding more knives at the ready. "Tsuki, you need to give me a better opening, not get cut up," he admonished lightly. He leapt to the side as Ikkaku leapt back into the fray after a dead faint, swinging his flail. He bent out of the way and flung a couple knives upwards. "Look out above~"

Ikkaku chuckled. "Not yet, not yet," he hollered, swinging his flail up and catching each of the knives before they fell on him. He caught one between his toes. "Dangerous toys you're using there, Ying Yang." His eyes narrowed and he flung it towards Tsukiro. "It makes me want to play with them all the more. He formed his staff again and jumped into the air, lunging towards the ground at Kairo. "Take this!"

Kairo swirled out of the way before his spear could cut the black ribbon. As Ikkaku swung his spear upwards, flinging wood chips at his eyes, he altered his stance and created a large scimitar, blocking the weapons and catching the spear’s tip on his wide blade. As it bounced off, Kairo pushed forward, still using his sword as a shield, then arched it down and up catching and flinging the flail away. He leapt forward and stopped, nicking the arm Ikkaku had raised to defend his neck. “Yield,” Kairo said.

As Yumichika went to swing at Kairo's back, Tsukiro blocked his shot and kneed him in the stomach hard. Yumichika knelt down, grabbing his stomach. He swung his leg around, trying to trip Tsukiro, but he trapped Yumichika's leg with one of his then kicked him again with his other leg. He swung his blades at him as Yumichika laid on his back.

Yumichika blocked his blade with his sickle sword. "You know, Tsukiro, I really don't like -" he pushed Tsukiro's swords back and kicked Tsukiro in the groin, standing up again as he fell back. "That position is for the ladies," he finished smoothly. He leapt backwards as Tsukiro came at him before he could attack Kairo and chuckled grimly. "That didn't phase you long, and here I thought the eleventh division was the most brutal with their training."

Tsukiro laughed loudly. "Ha. You're kidding me. Yoruichi put me through way worse than what you can dish out."
Tsukiro feinted with his right blade and swung with his left. Yumichika caught it with is own blade and Tsukiro lifted his leg up and kicked him hard in the gut, sending him back, landing on his back again.
"You sure are spending a lot of time on your ass, Yumi."

The words were barely out of his mouth when he a bolt of white kido shot from the man on the ground. Dust and debris covered Tsukiro’s figure. Yumichika stood up again. “Careful what you say here, shadow,” he murmured, bracing his form with his sickle blade yet again, “it can be perceived as an insult to my division. If you do that, I’m afraid I become quite merciless.” “Yay!” Yachiru called out from the side, “Yumi-chan made it go boom!”
A tick appeared in the beauty queen’s temple. “How many time do I have to tell you, rugrat?!” he growled. “I am not a ‘cha-“
With a burst of hoho, he vanished out of the reach of a lightning bolt.
“It’s quite rude to attack when I am talking to the audience, Tsukiro.”

"This is a fight. You shouldn't be talking at all," Tsukiro said as he flashed over to Yumichika, stopping behind him. "So how about we finish this up? Shunko!"
Tsukiro's black haori burst from his back in shreds, violet and black reiatsu covering his back and shoulders and part of his arms. He dropped his zanpakuto and his short sword, letting his shunko surround his arms and hands as well, his arm covers becoming tatters as well. He quickly thrust both of his shunko covered hands up at Yumichika's back.

Yumichika gasped, falling forward before using another burst of speed to move away. He wiped blood from his lips. “That was dangerous. If I hadn’t seen it coming just enough to brace myself, I’d be coughing up a lung.” As Tsukiro appeared out of the corner of his eye again, he hissed, twisting to avoid his powered arms, gaining a cut on his arm, before the ground opened up in a funnel of rocks and wood around Tsukiro. “Hado No. 57: Daichi Tenyo.” Yumichika gasped out as he knelt on the ground. “Damn, you give a work out.” He chuckled as Tsukiro blocked most of the rocks and laid out on torn dojo ground. “I give. No way am I going to break more ribs and ruin my hair dealing with Cat Queen’s moves when we're not that close to a battle.”
"Should have set a limit to what could have been done," Ikkaku murmured.
Yumichika chuckled, licking the blood off from his cut cheek. "Looks like we owe you both a meal. Next time I get Kairo, and you can take the lazy one."

Tsukiro grinned wide like the Cheshire cat, snuffing out his shunko. He crossed his bare arms over his chest. "A wise choice Yumichika. Looks like there is still a time yet to come where Yoruichi-sensei's techniques fail to prevail." He turned to Kairo. "You know, you could have ended this a lot quicker if you had just used your shunko as well. What's wrong? Spent too much time chasing down Kiyone and Sentaro?"

Kairo chuckled, calling back his zanpakuto and putting it back behind his back. "Shunko is an ultimate move for use against Bankai or the espada. I don't need it to defeat my warm up partners. Unlike you, I don't know restraint with that move. I could put them both in the medic wing and get Captain Kotetsu's wrath." He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "I think I will pass at that experience, even if it is for a good cause."
He looked up at the hole through the roof. "Besides, defeating them in one move didn't suit my purposes here." He closed his eyes-
-then fell over as Tsukiro punched him.
"You're silly, Kai," he grinned.
Kairo chuckled and looked up at the sky again. Lieutenant, huh...
He closed his eyes again. "I have to say I will miss Thirteenth Division."

"Last Shot: Aftermath" continued:
The main dojo of the eleventh division had collapsed almost immediately after the bombing, but that wasn’t something unusual at the eleventh division, not with the rough handling of their abilities and throwing themselves against their captain. Pushing the timbers off of their shoulders and backs, even pulling the unconscious out of a smashed section, was something they were all too familiar with. But the quick-burning fire that ignited and spread along their wooden buildings, trapping many inside was different, a horror. Those quick on their feet made it out before the blazes cut them off. Others weren’t so lucky. It was hot, stifling, and a battle for survival for every knot of people surrounded by fire on all sides. A real test with death whispering in their ears. From his pocket, Yumichika’s eyes narrowed as once again the inferno he’d been fighting with resisted his Tenran command to extinguish itself. His sooty kimono sleeves waved in the acidic wind as his failed kido brought the too-fresh scent of burned flesh with it. He turned as another timber heaved upward when his giant captain grabbed a large chunk of cement below it. Covered in crimson streaks, eyes squinting shut, Zaraki was still smiling like the awesome monster he was. He threw the boulder upwards and once again, Yumichika called Tenran to direct it below the big fire before releasing it. As the ground shook, the flame in front of them went out with a woosh. The heavy man stumbled forward, picking up the three men he had pulled from the few crushed, fire-free buildings. Ikkaku’s head lolled on their lieutenant’s shoulder as she dragged him, out cold from pushing himself out of the way of an attacking bird and taking the bomb head-on. Idiot Cueball. They had to keep moving forward. They would not be beaten. Fade
