The god laughed, placing his hand to his eye as if wiping away a tear. "A last agreement with the dying Tervaden was to leave all of you be. My hands are clean of all of you. Though, I am curious." The god smiled, looking to Ukitake. "Call it a fault. But, why haven't either of you gone to see if my word on Tervaden is true? It couldn't possibly be because you all are pleased to hear the world is free of him?"
Looking to Ukitake, he continued. "Careful who you threaten, Captain. Your task to kill is far harder to carry out, than my task would be to kill you."

Juushiro lowered his head slightly in acknowledgement. "Nonetheless, Alister, I stand by my warning," he stated, tone calm and assured. There was no hesitation or even worry in the captain's voice at threatening the god once more. Layered in the respect befitting the god's station, Juushiro's tone was confident, sure, and almost cold. "Remember your agreement. Stay away from Yumiko or you will find out if it is possible for me to kill you or not."

The god's expression grew angry. He leaned toward Ukitake and in a low tone, whispered to the man. "Threatening me is not wise, Captain. Right hand or not. I will keep my word for Tervaden. But, for no other reason." He looked to the Captain Commander, the same angry expression directed toward him. "Are you without a tongue, Captain?"

Shunsui’s eyes twinkled as he lowered his hat. “I was considering what I needed to do with this death sentence Vale passed on himself,” he stated. He raised his head. “I apologize, Alister. I didn’t think you would take a father’s threat so seriously.” His eyes narrowed a moment later. “Unless you were only staying away from his daughter due to Tervaden’s wishes, that is.”

"A father's threat with a hint of this man being foolish enough to act on it." answered the god. "Tervaden and I have fought. I know the sting of a threat from your kind." The god looked to Ukitake with narrowed eyes. "Now Captains, what will you do with the news of Tervaden's death?"

Shunsui chuckled, rubbing his chin. “Deliver the news to the right people, most likely. Maybe tell others as a sign that at least something was true about the man….” He looked over to Alister again. “Some people will not be happy that he escaped the trial and chose to die by his own hands. There are many ways people will interpret it. And then there’s the question of the body.”

"His body remains in his cell." the god said with a nod. "There is a guard outside of your door, waiting to share the news of his death with you." The god began to fade from the room. "Captain Ukitake, this last gesture to Ryouma was important to him. Please see to it that she gets the ring." The god disappeared in a flash of flame, leaving the two Captains alone.

Shunsui sighed as his room was left empty again for a moment before time resumed and a harried guard rushed in. He raised his hand. "I am aware of the situation," he murmured, keeping his tone mellow. "Send Captain Kotetsu to the cells and we will follow shortly." The man nodded and ran out. "Poor boy will exhaust himself like that," the commander muttered.
He looked towards his friend, who had pulled out the elegant ring again. The deep amethyst glistened with streaks of brighter fire, surrounded by smaller crystals. "That's not going to make your story pleasant, old friend."

Juushiro nodded. "No, it won't," he acknowledged. "But as you said beforehand, Shunsui, it is a sign that there was at least something good in that man."
The commander rubbed his chin. "So you don't think this is another elaborate plan?"
His friend returned the ring to his pocket and shook his head. "In spite of the unknown variables, I don't think he would fake something like that ring. It's genuine and expensive. Vale doesn't make so much that that would be an easy purchase. It's not shaped like Vacanze's creations either."

Shunsui nodded. "There's the fact that the rope is worn too. He had it on him for a while. I wonder how he kept it from Yumiko." He fell silent and then shook his head. "As usual, that man either gives me a headache or infuriates me. Even if that part of him was true, he did not warn anyone of Aizen. He was keeping everyone in a glass world of fabricated peace." He sighed. "But glass doesn't just break. It shatters, leaving a mess behind."
He shook his head yet again. "Though it seems that you're holding together better than I thought you would, Juu-chan."

Juushiro smiled slightly. "I suppose I got distracted from my worry at him appearing again," he offered in lieu of explaining.
But his friend caught on. "That's the understatement of the century, especially with you."
Juushiro chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "I lost my temper. That is all."
"I should add 'a terrible liar' to your few faults."
Juushiro's smile faded. "I know the ramifications of fulfilling that threat better than anyone, Shunsui, but I had no choice. There is something about Alister in his recent visits that makes my skin crawl. And this time... I don't know if you would understand but...." he paused, "I had to threaten him."
Shunsui lifted his hat, dark eyes sharp. "It wasn't just for Yumiko, was it?"
Juushiro shook his head, unwilling to elaborate. "I hope that is the end of that matter. I still have much I wish to do in this lifetime."

“You and me both,” Shunsui muttered. Taking a seat at his desk, he pulled out a flask of sake, pouring a saucer for each of them before returning the bottle to the cabinet. “I have had enough surprises for another few years. No rogue gods please.” Juushiro raised his saucer in silent acknowledgement and the two drank. “Now do you want my support when you talk to our Hime? It's not the best time to be away - with the news of Vale and all - but I could manage."

"Playing with Fire":The gate opened up in the First Division. Time stopped, leaving the Captain Commander and Lieutenant Ise frozen in conversation. As Aizen stepped from the gate behind him, the god turned and delivering a crushing blow to his torso. "Play with fire, Sousuke Aizen..." began the god, lording of the Soul Reaper. "And, you are bound to get burned."
The god looked on as Aizen's body became wrapped in the black bands that bound him years ago. The Soul Reaper's eyes blackened as he tried to free himself from the bindings. He laughed as Aizen cursed and damned the god. "For two years, Sousuke Aizen, all you will know will be the comfort of these bindings. The only sounds you will hear, will be that of your growing hatred trying to burn through your body. You've got two years before you can proceed with the next phase of your plans. Do try to be patient."
Smirking madly, the god watched as the bindings covered the Soul Reapers mouth and an eye. "After you spend the next two years becoming well acquainted with your thoughts, they will not find you in your cell. Aeronite surrounding the cell or not, you will be gone. Free to carry on as you please."
The god grabbed the Soul Reaper by the hair, and kneed him in the face rendering the man unconscious. He bowed to the bound form lying on the floor. "Tag, you're it." The god faded from the room, leaving Aizen in good company. -END RP- "Down Time: A Chat Between Friends":

"Prelude":A godly gate opened above the First Division, stopping time. Vale stepped out, followed by four others cloaked in the shadow of the gate. He glanced over his shoulder, his eyes aglow a fiery orange. "You know your tasks. Now, go." He placed a hand on the shoulder of one of those with him, as they walked passed. "Not you. I have something different for you." Moved (Second Division) | Moved (Central Archives) | Moved (Shino Academy) -END RP- "Prelude II":

"Prelude II":Koga appeared, Chinmoku at his side. He bowed to Tervaden and Lady Aizen. "Lord Tervaden. My Queen." Rising from his bow, he removed Tervaden's blade from his side and handed the blade to its master. "As requested." A smile grew on the hollows lips, as he nodded slightly. "And, as requested.""Everything?" questioned Tervaden. Koga nodded. "All there is to know. Lord Aizen would be pleased. Something has to be done, as the bringing of two Ayakashi and an Espada was completely overwhelming."Tervaden shrugged. "You say overwhelming. I say normal. But, thank you. Return to Las Noches with the others." Teruo is still here. At the Shin'o Academy.""Let him finish." Koga nodded, opening a garganta and taking his leave.
