Aizen looked to the still sleeping woman, his head shaking lightly. "If we kill him there will be no stopping her. She will destroy us all." His gaze moved back to Vale.
"Find a way; short of killing him." His last statement an order not a request. "I do not worry for my life with Ichimaru. It is the vessel and her Goddess that should concern us. She will not like the life of Ichimaru to be extinguished."

Vale nodded, looking over the Soul Society as the Ayakashi wandered around the burning streets. Glancing over his shoulder at the sleeping woman. "She will fight...She will fight." Turning his attention back to the Ayakashi. Teruo appeared on the balcony's ledge. "She's moved," Teruo grinned, stepping down from the ledge. "And he's located him.""So, why are you still here?" asked Vale. Teruo nodded and disappeared from the room. Looking toward his Master, Vale smiled and bowed slightly. "I have to go." Vale walked over to the desk and took Kita in his arms. Vale disappeared from the room, Kita in his arms.

"Lost Companion": (Continued) The Gate opened as Kita stepped out into the office of the first division. She looked around not seeing Vale anywhere. Walking over to the balcony she rested her hands to the rail and looked out over the Gotei. Nothing but empty streets, a few Ayakashi perched on top of the buildings keeping watch. Kita sighed turning around only to find Yoki behind her kneeling to one knee , his head lowered.
“Yoki…” Her hand covered her heart from the start she got when turning to see him there.

Yoki stood slowly as he looked at her. "Forgive me, my lady. I did not mean to startle you. Why are you here? You do know Master Tervaden is not here, right?"
The woman shook her head looking as if she were about to cry and her hand now rested to the small bulging stomach.
"Where is he?" She asked looking across the room.
"I do not know. He has not been here for days." Yoki replied.
He heard the woman sigh as she turned back to the balcony rail. "I guess he has not been in Las Noches either?"
Her head shook slowly as she rested her hand to the railing looking out over the empty streets of Soul Society.

As she looked out over Soul Society Kita went into thought. Where is he and why did he just disappear? Was there something Sumi left out of what she told her. Did something happen between she and Vale other then the talk she informed them all about. Was there a fight between them? Did she say something that hurt him? Was it that fact of what happen with Aizen that it hit too close to home for him. Reminding him too much of what happen between him and Yumiko?
A tear slipped from the corner of her eye as she lifted her head and looked into the evening sky. The sun setting off in the horizon. She turned swiftly wiping away the escaped tear and looked to Yoki once more. "He will be back. I guess he just wants to be left alone, but he will be back." Her hand rested to her stomach again it then quickly dropped to her side. 'He will be back." She quickly stepped forward toward the Ayakashi.
"If you see him before me, please tell him I would like to see him."
Her hand lifted as it was quickly caught within another's grasp. She turned quickly to see if it was Vale, only to see Alister the God of Fire.

"Why are you here?" asked the god of fire. His arms crossed over his chest, as he stepped closer to the human woman. "Tervaden is not here. But, you knew that." The god leaned forward, looking into the woman's blue eyes. "Why do you search for this man?"
The woman shook her head, turning away from the god. "Why?"

"I have my reason." She looked back at the God. "And I didn't know he was not here. Not until I got here, but you do know where he is. So where is he?" She looked to the God waiting for him to tell her. When he said nothing she repeated herself.
"Where is he Alister?"

"I do." he responded. "But, I will not tell you. It is not for you to know." The god turned away from the woman, looking out over over the empty streets of the Soul Society. "Why do you search for him?"

She turned to look at him, "Why would you care? You're as cold as the hollows in Las Noches. You know nothing of feelings or love. So why would you care for the reasons?" She stepped toward him anger starting to take over as her fist clenched at her side.
"Why won't you tell me where he is? Me of all people?!"

"Because, he released you. That is why I question it." Alister chuckled at the woman. "Do you care for him?"
Kita's head shook as she looked at him. "That's a foolish question. Of course I care for him and what do you mean he released me? Released me from what? Being the mother of his child?" She jested with a slight chuckle. "That's a little hard don't you think?"
"Free from his brief moment of control." The god nodded as he began to fade from the room. "I will share this with you, he has gone to prepare."
"For what?"
The god shook his head. "You will not see him again until the birth of the child you carry. Until that time, I was told to aid you, if needed." With a final nod the god faded from the room.

"His control? What control?" Kita called out to him knowing damn will she may not be able to see him but he was still there. "Your love." The God of Fire's voice rang out around her."My love?" Her head shook quickly as her hand drew to her forehead. "Why would he try to control something I already had for him?" She looked up after a few minutes not hearing Alister's voice speak to her again. "Alister? Alister?" When he did not reply, she sighed heavily as she looked to the floor. "I already loved him. Why would he want to control that?" She grew silent for a few seconds and looked up at Yoki which was still standing there. "Did he not want me to love him?"Yoki shrugged, "Love is foreign to a Hollow and I have yet to understand the feelings of Soul Reapers and Humans. The two races are too complex for me. So I stopped trying."Kita could not help by giggle softly at Yoki as she shook her head. Her heart turning heavy with the news from Alister. Why would Vale do this? She looked out over Soul Society once more before she turned to leave.
"Take care of yourself Vale and be safe." She spoke softly into the wind.
A gate opened and she disappeared from the First Division.

Post by Commander Shunsui Kyoraku on Apr 21, 2016 0:30:44 GMT -6
"Dawning Days" continued: Unfortunately, the location and/or status of Gin Ichimaru was the least of Kyoraku’s problems. Propped up with cushions and a thick blanket against the balcony of his reclaimed office, the sightless reinstated commander of the Gotei couldn’t even afford to stay in the Fourth Division for long. He had allowed Isane, Kita, and Yumiko one week in which to worry over him before he decided to return to the responsibilities given to him. And to righting what their loss had written. He had to stand up again. Even if he were - for most purposes and intent - blind. Between Kita’s miraculous powers and Isane’s experience, they had managed to save them, but now both were weak and painful in the daylight. So until the Fourth Division wasn’t so crowded, he kept them bound with a dark violet band. There was too much to do. To much rebuilding, of their city and of their souls. To stand against the resilient fear that Sousuke Aizen was playing yet another trick on them and that he or the dark shadows in his control would return. Shunsui sighed. The voice reading the report halted and a gentle hand rested to his cheek. “Too much?” Nanao asked.
Shunsui’s lips quirked up into a quiet smile. At least there was one thing that hadn’t changed. “No. I apologize.” He turned his blind eyes towards the man on his other side. “Continue, Kuchiki-san.” There was a moment’s silence and a disturbance of the breeze in which the man nodded. And then continued reading that which he could not. Having one of the captains with him was also one of the prerogatives to staying off bedrest. Though he supposed he could order them to let him go. The smile didn’t get to form though. He didn’t feel like reforming some of the old lines of conduct with some of the facts that had emerged in the last two weeks. People were hurt, wounded, and angry still. And some of that cut deep. Although due to his short imprisonment with those who had been fodder in the prisons, Vacanze was an accepted member of their society - an honorable substitute much like the Kurosakis. Kita had enough immediate support and was a powerful enough healer that her place in the war was only questioned in the shadows. And then only if her bright son didn’t hear and hiss something back out of her earshot. He really was starting to look and sound like his father. Or so the Stealth members told him. (They were unconditionally loyal to their leaders, Ashimitsu and Namori, and were constantly watching over her with no voiced complaints). But there were enough rumors about Yumiko to make even himself uneasy about her safety - because she had loved one mastermind behind the current disaster. And it would be even worse if it was revealed that she still loved and would stay by the other. Far too many people wanted to see the others corpse. And later down the line... he would have to find a way to appease them and end the feud. Even now, there were still fights breaking out in the streets debating the honor of fighting vs. surrendering - if they could trust one another again. It had to end. But not in execution. He raised his hand and Kuchiki halted again. "Let's stop for the day," the commander murmured. There was a pause as his fellow noble folded the report and Nanao reached past him for something. Her gentle hands wrapped a saucer around his hand. "Drink," she whispered.
This time he did chuckle. So much had been lost. So much would have to change. And yet, some things had remained or recovered. Hope was still flickering around them, batting at the residue of many long months of despair. He tossed the cup back and held out his saucer for more, not surprised when Kuchiki joined him. Fade

"Candidate": Isuzu stepped up to the large doors of the office of his Captain Commander. Lifting a fisted hand to knock, he hesitated. Why? Because this was the child of Ichimaru. The man that betrayed the Gotei 13, centuries ago, along with Sousuke Aizen. Though, his reasons differed from the main antagonist of their realm, Ichimaru was still considered a danger, and though pardoned from most of his crimes, he was shunned by many in their ranks. This causing the backlash that Sojiro suffered now, but he, Izuru, had not lost faith in Ichimaru. Like Kita, he knew there was more to the man, and no matter his crimes, he could never completely walk away from the man that saved his life on more than one occasion. And Sojiro did not deserve to be judged by his father's or even his mother's crimes.
Taking a deep breath Isuzu lifted his fisted hand once more. A good solid knock echoed not only into the office of his Commander, but down the hall of the First division. He was determined to get Sojiro enrolled in the academy. It was the only way to help the boy grasp and learn to control his rage and powers before they got too far out of control. Only they would have the knowledge to help him do this.
It was the only way with his father now missing in action.

Shunsui looked towards the door as the knock sounded, feeling out the aura before smiling at his lieutenant. “It is an unusual guest, Nanao. Maybe I should stretch my eyes a little.” His grin grew with her reaction.
The fabric shifted as she crossed her arms over her breasts. “As long as you agree to put the blindfold back on when they start itching - which you will tell me - or you’re blinking too much because they are dry. Isane will not be happy if she has to start over with them. And neither will Kita," she hurried on.
Shunsui chuckled, not necessarily at the acerbic tone, but the underlying hint of worry in his prickly woman. Reaching up, he slid his blindfold off and reached for his eyepatch, keeping the weakest eye cloaked in darkness. Blinking his eyes as they adjusted to the change, he leaned over and kissed her cheek. “I promise,” he whispered.
This wasn’t something to mess around with.
He pulled back as she adjusted her spectacles. “Come in, Kira,” he called out.

Izuru entered the office closing the door behind him before bowing low to his Commander. "Commander Kyoraku, I apologize for the unannounced appearance." He stood looking to the man before him.
"How are you feeling by the way? Your color looks much better than then it did a few weeks ago."
Izuru wrinkled his nose as his head shook and his hand went to his forehead. "Stop with the small talk he will think your buttering him up." He thought to himself.
