"Fetching a Kitsune":Tsukiro and Kairo walked slowly down one of the street in the Rukongai, not sure were they were really going. The house they were lead to believe he was in was empty. So they left and went off their gut feelings, and of course the surging energy of said Fox they were looking for. It never failed. The man had no clue what was going in the lives of his estranged family, but when they were in trouble, Ichimaru was always out raising some kind of hell. The closer they got to said place where the Fox was the more energy they felt emitting for the area. They took off to the rooftops to move quicker. Tsukiro looked to Kairo and smirked as the perched to the roof of one of the buildings and watched down on the fight. "Looks like our job just got a little more interesting." Kairo nodded with a smirk of his own. "He won't be coming in without being a little more banged up by us." As Tsukiro watched Shinsou lurch out at another that was coming at Gin, he shook his head. "That zanpakuto should be outlawed along with Aizen's." Kairo chuckled softly as a few more abandoned houses fell from the extending sword. "What are you talking about?" He looked his Captain's way has he stood tall and stretched out. He stepped forward off the top of the roof. "It makes the man a challenge." Tsukiro laughed as he stood as well and followed his lieutenant off the rooftop to the ground putting them in front of none other than the silver haired reaper Gin Ichimaru.

Gin glanced their way for a moment before turning and kicking another thug in the abdomen, throwing him into the ruins he’d just created. Flipping the crimson tip of Shinsou up to his chin, his grin grew. “Looks like it’s yer lucky day, snot-face. I’m in this bad mood, but Gotei sends pets to get me. Means I have ta stop cutting at yer friends' and yer tendons.” He leaned closer. “But make no mistake. I see what I did again, and you’ll wish yer hadn’t been saved. Understand?”
The thug nodded vigorously and screamed as the tip of Shinsou ripped his shirt.
Gin snickered as blood welled up from his mark. “It’s jist a scratch and here yer are whining like a baby.” He stood tall and looked to the thugs getting to their feet. His voice dropped to a sultry purr. “Shoo~”
The thugs slowly disappeared, holding broken arms or limping on torn legs. Gin remained in the center of his destruction.
He clicked his tongue. “Maybe I went a little too far with the theatrics~”
Picking up a purse left behind, he walked over to an overturned crate and kicked it back, revealing two dirty kids, a boy and a girl. “All clear~” he quipped, letting the purse fall into the boy’s blackened hands. “No one to cut yer hands off and take yer sister.”

Tsukiro shook his head as he watched the kids scurry off hand in hand as they yelled back at the silver haired reaper.
“Thanks Mister!”
“You never cease to amaze me, old man.” Tsukiro told him.
“Is that so?” Gin quipped as he stepped toward them. “So why yer here, boys? Get a report of a disturbance?”
Tsukiro shook his head. “No, but we are still here for you.”
“What for now?” Gin’s hands lifted in a gesture of ‘Here I am’.
“Just know there have been some issues that correspond with your son and another. Espada were involved, and now both have vanished.” He paused and looked to Gin. “Captain Kuchiki’s orders and it was by force or peacefully we were to bring you in. Your call Gin, Which will it be?” Tsukiro readied himself for the man's quick draw and even quicker sword.

The Fox chuckled. “My call, you say, Captain, but here yer are prepared for the worst. Or best,” he tilted his head with a wider smile, “depending on which outcome yer wishing for.” He set a hand on Shinsou and snickered as both men started, then he straightened again.
“As tempting as that could be,” he continued in a clearer voice, “I don’t just give anyone what they want that easily.” He set his foot on the upturned crate and set his chin on his hand. “Perhaps for a price, I’ll give you the opportunity you’re itching for. Just a 'fill in the blanks' request, really. Returning to town with people hissing about Espada is not the way I had planned for this day to go.”
Tsukiro’s eyes narrowed as his lieutenant asked, “What were you doing out of town?”
Gin waved a hand. “That’s none of your business, either of you. Just between Shopkeeper and myself. All you have to know is that I was doing my job.” His eyes glinted. “Now what was Aizen wanting with my son?”

Kairo folded his arms. “To threaten him through his kindness and get a key from him. I am not sure where it goes.”
“Then I have a better memory than you,” Tsukiro murmured. He looked to the Snake. “But if you want details from us, you’re going to give up your own. What does Sensei have you doing from the shadows?”
Gin snickered. “If you can’t find me except when I am in a bad mood, why would I ruin the fun by revealing the game?”
“Then you’re not going to learn what I know now, are you?” Tsukiro growled.
Kairo readied himself. It seemed his best friend wasn’t going to let them head back to First Division in a hurry. That tone said he had a mission besides their own. For a moment, he considered speaking up. But then he relaxed as he felt the signature of Kisuke Urahara rejoin the group in the First Division. “Looks like the emergency has passed. For us,” he stated. “If you want something from this fox, now seems a good time.”
He stepped backwards, giving his best friend and the uncanny fox room.

Tsukiro's eyes narrowed at the Fox. "It's not a game, Ichimaru. Hence the reason you lost Kita to Vale." He watched as Gin grew tense in front of him. "I have one question for you. Was it ever not a game or was she just another toy like the rest of us?" Tsukiro's hand went to the hilt of his blade ready for the Fox to make his move.
Gin remained silent, but his eyes were sharp though he did not attempt to attack. At least yet.
"WELL!" Tsukiro screamed at him causing Gin to snap to attention, his eyes narrowing at the baby captain. "ANSWER THAT YOU FUCKTARD! SOMETHING TO THE PASS THE TIME WHILE YOU PLAYED WITH AIZEN? YOU DESTROYED HER LIFE AND RIP OTHERS APART! SOJIRO DON'T EVEN KNOW HIS FATHER. HE TURNS TO ME OR KISUKE BEFORE HE EVEN THINKS TO COME TO YOU! BOY, THAT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A REAL MAN, DON'T IT?!"
All the anger he felt toward the man spilled out. Tsukiro admits he had pushed past the fact that he and Kita would never be together again, but even as just her friend, there was an amount of anger inside of him that he could not hold back, and he wanted answers that he could never get from Kita. And the man before him was the one he was going to get them from.

Gin’s squinted eyes gleamed behind his bangs as the tempered ire rose inside him. “Wrong time to insult me, Brat, if you want answers.” Tsukiro’s hands clenched. But like he hadn’t drawn, so far Tsukiro did not. His smirk twisted at that detail. “Would it have been better for you if I hadn’t gone through with ripping out his heart? If I had been around when it was you who tried to sneak into a bed that wasn’t yours?”
Tsukiro’s reiatsu started to rise around him. “I hate it when you answer questions with more questions, and if I don’t get a real answer soon, I really am going to drag it from you.”
“Are you?” the reaper sneered, not moving. “That could be fun. I haven’t wasted my blade with your blood since that time I skewered you to save your good-for-nothing scrawny hide. Even offering my own to keep him guessing. The first time I nearly lost her to all this.” He set his hand on his blade, and Tsukiro crouched lower.
Gin, however, didn’t move further. “And there’s the little facts with my son you just had to bring up. Yes, considering I am not in a good mood, it could be quite entertaining to tear you apart. But what gives you the right?” he hissed. “What gives you the right to ask that, now of all times?”

Tsukiro appeared in front of the silver haired reaper in a flash of shunpo as he grabbed fistfuls of his shihakusho and jerked him face to face with him. “What gives me that right?” He growled in his face. “Because you should have been there. YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE! YOU OF ALL PEOPLE KNOW THIS IS NOT A DAMN GAME, BUT YOU TREAT IT LIKE ONE!”
He shoved Gin back his eyes near slits as he looked at the Fox. “Why? If you love them as much as you claim. Why weren’t you there?”
Gin’s own eyes were narrowed as well as he watched the baby captain. “Because I won’t get between them and their happiness.” Gin growled back at him. “I’ll watch over them from a distance. I’ll protect them as well as I can at that distance, but I have seen their life with me and I have seen their life without me and its better for them both. I will be there for Sojiro if and when he comes to me, but I won't force him there. I've seen the damned life they've created without me and the risks to their happiness if I join them is not worth it!” he snarled. “Why?" he snapped. "Because unlike you. I know she loves me with all her heart—hell I am her heart.” Gin’s sly grin returned as he looked to Tsukiro. "For now, that is enough. And that's all I am telling you of all people."
As a hand clasp to his shoulder from behind, Tsukiro whirled on the person to see his lieutenant standing there. He looked to his captain then to Gin. “Come on you two. It’s sad to say, but you both now have something in common.” They looked to Kairo in confusion and a slight disgust. He chuckled lightly. “You both lost the woman you love very much.” He turned from them both with a flick of his wrist as he started walking away. “No need to dwell on the past. If you want to move over it you have look forward. Prepare for the future.” He kept walking with a slight pause. “Come on you two love sick idiots. Kisuke, and I am sure Sojiro are in First Division waiting for us with some kind of good news.”
Tsukiro looked to Gin once more from his lieutenant. “I don’t like having something in common with you.” He turned on his heel and followed Kairo’s path after a few steps and not hearing Gin follow behind him stopped and looked at him still standing in the same place, Gin’s eyes cast to the ground. With a heavy sigh Tsukiro combed his fingers through his hair.
“I can’t believe I am saying this,” Gin slowly looked up at him, “but if anything happens between Kita and Vale, I know she will come back you. So stop moping and move your ass. We have people waiting for us.”

Tsukiro started as both sleeves of his kimono were ripped. “I don’t mope,” Gin stated firmly with the same strange grin on his face as before. Sharp-edged laughter flickered on the edge of his mind but he pushed it back where it belonged – with the voice of his former master in the back of his conscious mind.
The baby captain rolled his eyes. “If you are done ripping my uniform, you’re still coming whether it’s my orders or not.” He turned around to face the Fox again. “You want to know the details of what happened. Simple as that. If you really do care.”
“You didn’t tell me what you know,” Gin quipped, blade still drawn.
“And you only gave me half an answer,” Tsukiro returned. He spun around again, ripping the sleeves off his kimono and stuffing them inside instead. “Aizen wants a key to a box, but you don’t know what box it is because you were still being an even worse jerk than normal.” He paused. “Now we’re even.”
“Actually, I will have to disappoint you,” Gin purred, sliding his blade back into its sheath. But he did not take his hand off it as he connected the pieces presented to him. “The only reason Aizen-san would want something as mundane as a box is if the shopkeeper hid something in it. And there are only two things that could be, the Hougyoku he created for Kita or the book he wrote on the Seraph.” Gin strolled over to Tsukiro, eyes flashing. “Thank you for being so enlightening.”
The Fox vanished in a flash of shunpo.

Tsukiro sighed heavily again his fingers combing through his long locks. "Son of bitch. He better be going to the First Division or when I find him again I will kick his scrawny ass." He looked to Kairo with a wide grin. "And the chase is on. Can you keep up or you lacking in that area as well?" Tsukiro asked his lieutenant. "LACKING!? Where did you hear I was lacking!?" Kairo expressed. Tsukiro shrugged, "A little birdy told me you are lacking in your relationship." Tsukiro's grin grew wider. "Can't keep it up, Kai~?" He teased, Tsukiro then chuckled as his best friend growled and mumbled something about 'Showing him something' other another. Though Tsukiro was not really sure because he to took off after Gin in a flash of shunpo leaving Kairo in the wake of Gin's destruction.

"Rukon's Stray":Gin tried to just return to his hideout. To pretend that now that she wasn’t in front of him — his light that had stayed at his side through the darkest of Las Noches — making that accusation. That he could resume the job Kisuke had given him.
The stray raised a bottle he’d bought at a night stand in another section of the Rukon to his lips, breathing in the acidic fumes, and then slammed into the wall in front of him. The alcohol slid down the rock in a hissing foam. The destruction didn’t help.
A voice from the past echoed in this mind. Trust her,” the shopkeeper murmured, tapping his chest. “Trust this. For the first time in your life, Ichimaru. Fight with your heart and what you believe in. I promise you. You will come out a winner every time."“Yeah right,” Gin snarled. “If that were the case, she wouldn’t have left me.” He scraped a hand up into his hair, his voice lowering further, roughening. “She wouldn’t have given another man, someone who had hurt her as deeply as Aizen, the gift of a son… of raising it together… She would have waited.” Gin growled and grabbed a handful of the shards, throwing them at the wall again and licking at the blood on his hand.
His hand fell as he surveyed the wreck he’d created. The fitting example for his anguish. “She would not doubt.” He fell to his knees and grabbed at his hair, as if to tear it out.
Footfalls sounded somewhere to the south of him. Flashing eyes narrowed, and he was gone. Moved

" Wrong Turn": (continued) As she walked along so deep in thought she turned walking down the opposite street of where she needed to be going. The mother’s words playing over and over again in her mind. That was until she bumped into someone along her path. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts and bowed deeply to the person she bumped into, apologizing promptly.
“I am so sorry. I was not paying attention to where I was going. Please forgive me.” She stood and looked around where she was standing. Her eyes widened. She was in the Red Light Distract. Had she been walking in a daze that badly she did not know where she was going? She then started to blush when she looked at who she bumped into.
He was a tall, very handsome man with long dark hair pulled back into a ponytail and wrapped with a gold tone string and beautiful violet eyes. A noble no doubt, with his dark blue silk kimono with wisps of gold bamboo leaves and a black silk haori, however; she did not recognize him. He had to be in the village visiting. She bowed again.
“Forgive me, sir.”

He chuckled softly as he stepped toward her letting his fingers slide under her chin and lift her to stand before him. He gazed into her lovely violet eyes. “You are forgiven, my jewel. It is not every day I am blessed to bump into one as lovely as you.” He let his eyes wander for a second than met hers once more. “What is a gem as beautiful as you doing in the Red Light District?”
He then let his eyes wander her form once more. She was wearing a lovely cream colored silk kimono adorned with orange pomegranate flowers, streaks of white bursting through for the perfect shading of the flower, their freed petals wistfully dancing along the kimono. The obi wrapped around her thin waist was a pale peach, complementing the beautiful orange flowers, and her long raven hair was pulled up at the sides with beautiful pomegranate flower combs, the ribbons that hung down into her raven hair matching the colors of her attire.
“You are much too beautiful to belong in a place like this.” He let his fingertips caress her throat as he pulled them back and snapped his fingers, then offered his arm to her as a young girl quickly walked up to her and took her bag. “Please let me take you back to where a gem as lovely as you belongs.”
The girl stepped back slightly as Mitsunari chuckled softly at her. “I won’t hurt you, my jewel, and please; tell me. Where did you get such a beautiful kimono? I must pay that merchant a visit to acquire one for myself.”

Makino looked down at what she was wearing. She had literally forgotten what she had put on to go on this outing. Smoothing down the front of it she looked back up to the man. “My mother. She made this for me.”
The gentlemen smiled warmly at her. “I knew it had to be handmade. Did she paint the flowers herself as well?”
Makino nodded slowly as she looked to his still offered arm. Slowly she stepped toward him and linked her arm with his.
“My name is Mitsunari Ono, and you are?” He asked her as he tugged gently to get her to follow in the direction in which she came.
“Tori, Makino Tori, and you are correct. I do not belong over here. I was deep in thought and must have taken a wrong turn. I am actually a student at Shino Academy.” Makino told him.

“So you are not only a noble like me, but a training Soul Reaper?” Mitsunari inquired as he looked the young girl’s way. She smiled warmly and started to relax with what he told her.
“Yes, I am. Are you part of the Gotei? I don’t remember ever seeing you there.” She asked him.
He smiled brightly at her. “A long time ago I was. I quit, returning home to my dying mother. She was very ill and in her death I would have been the only living hire to the clan.”
The young girl nodded slowly as she looked ahead of them. “I am sorry to hear about your mother. I am sure it was very hard on you. When I lost my father in the Takeover I thought life was over.”
“So you’re a daddy’s girl are you?”
Makino looked his way with an awkward smile. “I am, but I would be the same way if it were my mother or any of my four brothers.”
“My my, four brothers you say. Older?” He looked her way as she nodded slowly. He chuckled softly. “I feel badly for your suitors. It must be very hard for them. I am sure your brothers put them through the workings to make sure they are perfect for their baby sister.”
