Kisuke lifted from the table brushing past Gin his eyes narrowed at him. Staying with him as he walked past and over to the counter in the lab. He squatted down and opened a false door on the cabinet. Behind it rested a safe. He reached into his pocket and retrieved a key. Sliding the key into the keyhole he turned it then started turning a dial. The tumblers clicked as the lock inside caught and slid open. The door snapped open slightly. Kisuke reached for the handle and swung the door open more. He reached in and pulled out a second Hougyoku.
He stood turning as he looked at the three in the room. "Will this work?"

As Shunsui chuckled at their friend's cleverness, Juushiro shook his head. "You're full of surprises, Kisuke," he commented and walked over, taking the orb in hand. "Is it only a look alike?" he asked quietly.

"Its charged with the same energy you feel coming from the original, but it will never grow any stronger than what you feel coming from it right now. It's enough to make Aizen believe we unsealed it and its waking up." He stepped forward.
"If this is what Kita has concluded is giving herself up to Aizen I say we give her the fake Hougyoku to take to Aizen. We can have Aizen's espada place Rangiku in the center and have Kita and Gin walk out toward them. When Gin gets his hands on Rangiku and the espada and Kita start walking back toward Aizen. We can attack." He lowered his head then lifted it back up. He took a deep breath he had to stay strong. This was for the best. For all of them.
"Kita getting caught in the crossfire. The first attack will have to be at the espada Kita is with to make this look like an accident. If the first hit don't hit and kill. Sumi will save her."

As Ichimaru stayed eerily silent and Shunsui nodded, Juushiro raised the last concern on his mind. "Sousuke threatened Yumiko when we engaged each other," he admitted, sighing as both of his friends turned to him at that. "Do you think - when our plan succeeds - that he will carry out that threat?"

The captain commander shook his head, sighing at this vulnerability still not being solved. "No, Juu-chan, I don't think he will hurt her. It's more likely that we will see her being placed against us in a way to further aggravate our loss of Kita. Since we denied him the seraph, he will look to deepen our wound of grief and put on display that Yumiko has been lost too."
He looked to Kisuke seeing if the shrewd shopkeeper agreed.

Kisuke nodded. "Yes," he rested his free hand to Juushiro's shoulder. "Aizen will only want to add to our suffering. Not his." Walking over to the table he picked up the real Hougyoku and walked it back over placing it in the safe. Locking it up tightly. When he turned back he looked at the group again.
"Who do we have here with long range attacks?" He looked to the Gin. "Besides the one that don't like the idea?"

"I'll do it," Hitsugaya said as he finally walked into the lab after listening in on the conversation. "I can kill her quickly and painlessly. Not to mention I don't know her that well. It will spare you four the guilt of doing it yourselves."

Kisuke adjusted his hat looking at Toshiro as he walked in closing the door behind him. He sighed shaking his head. "Is there no such thing as privacy anymore in this world?" He looked to Toshiro again.
"And how do you plan on doing this?"

"I will be watching her closely. When she is directly in front of whatever Espada is with her, I will attack her with one of my long range attacks. I will play it off as if I was aiming for the Espada when she walked in front of it. It will pierce her heart, freezing her from the inside. She won't feel anything. It will be over much too quick for her to feel any pain. She'll be gone before she hits the ground. I won't freeze her body solid to avoid her shattering. It will be your job to make sure I have a clear shot. We have only one chance. We can't afford for me to miss."

Finally, Gin stood off the section of wall where he had been brooding in silence, looking around at each of the room's occupants. He walked over to the table and picked up the fake Hougyoku. The same sensation of goose bumps raised up along his arms. It certainly had the power to fool his master momentarily.
"I would advise you to refrain from killing the redhead," he stated grimly. "You could use an espada who has doubts about following Aizen." He stiffened, bracing himself for what might come next then continued, "At the time of the exchange, my master will have his attention divided." He turned around and faced the short captain. "You better be sure you can pull this off, captain, and I want to hear it. You've made mistakes before, and you can't afford to miss." Not with Kita's plan of action.
As the ice captain's eyes narrowed at him, Gin turned to the ringleaders. He waved his hands at them in general. "You are going to need to create a way to drain one of you. If all three of you show, Aizen will smell your trap and cut the whole deal off. You won't like that. Not to mention I am pretty sure he's aware that the Hougyoku was sealed by more than one person."
He set the bauble back on the table behind him. "And finally, if he's in charge of the deed, then someone else needs to catch Rangiku. I won't be holding her long." He turned around on his heel, heading for the door. |

"I won't miss," Hitsugaya growled at Ichimaru. "Aizen is not going to make a fool out of me this time. You can count on that. This will work."

Kisuke clasp his hand to Gin's shoulder before he could leave and stopped him. "What are you planning, Ichimaru? I know you have something up your sleeve. That's the most information you have ever divulged in one conversation about Aizen. Why won't you have Rangiku for long?"
His hand slid from his shoulder as Gin turned slightly to look at them his usual grin across his face.
"Don't you dare interfere with this." Kisuke growled.

Juushiro didn't like the sound of that, but that wasn't the foremost thought on his mind. "Ichimaru-san, why don't you take advantage of this chaos to break from him?" He stayed firm as those slitted eyes turned from Kisuke and focused on him. "If he's threatening you this way, he's not going to satisfied easily and maybe not at all." He hesitated then stated, "It's not worth it. Sousuke is not worthy of that loyalty, even if you lie in wait to strike at him."

Kisuke looked from Juushiro to Gin and smirked. "Said a little different, no harsh words or your head being crushed. But it sounds like something I have been harping at for a while now."
The look in his eyes serious. "I could use your help in finding Kita when this over and not just there. Here. Think about it. You might have a long road ahead of you with others. However, you have proven yourself with me enough."
Kisuke patted Gin's shoulder and let him go with those words to ponder.
