Kisuke dropped his head to the table with a thud. "That's where I draw a blank." He sighed, "I would like to do it before, but we risk getting Rangiku back. Kita should have no reason to be there. That is unless Gin decided to take her just to take her." He lifted his head looking at them again.
"Which will help but there is no way he is going to let her get away from his side if fighting breaks out. With him protecting her we can't get her in the crossfire. And it has to look like an accident."

"What if Kita herself decided to put herself there?" came a nonchalant voice from the entrance. Gin chuckled shortly as they all stood and pulled himself from the door, closing it once more. "Getting soft in your old age, captains?" He turned to the shopkeeper. "What are you scheming with an accident and Kita, Kisuke?" he hissed, tone no longer light.

"Aizen's attempt to separate Kita and the seraph are fruitless. He will not succeed. Instead he will end up killing her. I won't allow it. The only way we can do this is to kill Kita. Sumi will then return to the godly realm and Kita will be free of her."
Sighing he adjusted his hat and frowned. "But she will be dead and in the Rukongai."

Gin stood silent for a moment then in the next, he was across the room and holding the shopkeeper up by the collar of his kimono. "Death is an option for you?" he hissed in his face. "After all she's been through, you think it's safer to kill her?! Do you have any idea what the chances are of anyone finding her again? Of her not waking to a new hell?!" His sky blue eyes glittered strangely as he glared at Kisuke.

Kisuke shoved Gin back forcefully and glared at him. "Do you think I don't know this?! Do you think I have not considered all this?! There are two things you have to look at here, asshole! If Aizen does only try once and realizes it wouldn't work he will still use the seraph, which is going to put us up to our eyes in more trouble, and I am not just talking Aizen trouble."
He walked toward Gin getting in his face. "Which Hell would you rather have her in?! A hell we can get her out of with a little work and searching?! Or a hell that will scar her for life?! And I can promise you! The Hell with Aizen will last much longer than the Hell she will be in in the Rukongai! I won't rest until I find her!"

Gin kicked him into a wall and turned around, not looking at anyone, just at the wall, recalling when he had received this kimono. He chuckled bitterly.
Rangiku had bought it for him after she had heard of his promotion to lieutenant, but her projected size was too small. He had still kept it. Teasing her about that mistake had been quite entertaining while in Soul Society, and ... it meant they were both free of Rukongai and the darkness there. Now could he trust this shopkeeper to find Kita while her spark still lasted?

Kisuke lifted himself off the wall and straightened his kimono. The determination in his eyes said it all as he stormed up behind Gin. His hand clasp to his shoulder, fist drawn back as he jerked Gin around and punched him square in the nose. Gin took a few steps back, but Kisuke did not stop there he stepped forward a left hook came up and caught Gin in the jaw. Gin spun and caught himself against the wall as Kisuke stomped up behind him and slammed his head into the wall and kept pushing it into the wall.
"Give me one good reason I shouldn't crush your skull right now?"

Gin gritted his teeth, his head pounding, and clenched his hands, barely resisting the urge to retaliate against Kisuke again. His mind whirled with his current plan and this new piece. Finally, he ground out, "Because you're not stupid. The only reason you haven't wiped my mind of my eavesdropping is because you want something from me. So tell me," he hissed.
And let go before I lose my temper or change my mind again, he finished in his own mind, eyes glaring sharp.
Different situations called for different circumstances.

Kisuke leaned into him and growled. "I want you to open your fucking eyes and look around you. You were given a second chance for a reason." He pushed off his head hard, turned and stepped away from him. "Use it wisely, asshole."
Kisuke looked at Juushiro and Kyoraku. "We can cut our work in half in finding Kita." He looked slightly back at Gin then back to the other two. "Mayuri keeps track of all souls entering the soul society. In the time span this will be going on we can have him pay extra close attention to what's coming in. It won't give us an exact location but it will give a lead of where to look for her."
Kisuke turned looking at Gin. "Does that ease your doubts about her hell?" Kisuke growled at him.

Gin rubbed his head, still highly annoyed at the shopkeeper, even more so with those kind of words tossed at him. Again. "And what about Rangiku?" he shot back. "How does your idea affect getting her back?"
It was the only way he was going to respond. There was no way he was going to admit the 'Hat-n-Clogs' was getting to him.

Shunsui laughed. "I think you've managed to tame yourself a fox, Kisuke. My hat's off to you." He stroked his chin, eyes dancing with the information he seemed to be receiving by just watching these two interact, and wondered if it was possible for the fox to change masters at this late in the game. What possibilities did that avenue open up for them?

Kisuke narrowed his eyes at Gin lowering his head, rubbing his temple. "That's where you so rudely interrupted. I would like to be able to get Rangiku back without harm and be able to hang on to the Hougyoku and..." The words caught in Kisuke's throat. He started to feel light headed and sick to his stomach.
In a hoarse and silent tone he croaked. "Kill Kita." He shook his head and walked back over to the table to sit down. "I don't want Aizen walking away with anything this time around."
He sat to the table head hung and both hands to his hat as silence filled the room. It felt as if someone had stuck a hot spear through his chest.
After a few minutes, Kisuke lifted his head and looked at Gin. "You made comment when you walked in here about Kita putting herself there? What were you talking about?"

Looking closely at the shopkeeper, Juushiro left the room and then returned with a few cups of strong tea, placing one directly in front of Kisuke.

Gin paused in telling Kisuke that Aizen had visited him and made the actual terms of the arrangement clear to him, Kita and the Hougyoku for Rangiku's life. He folded his arms and leaned against the wall as he continued. "There is no leeway in that deal and it's between me and him. Kita found out and has declared she is going to give herself up. She doesn't want anyone else being hurt for her."
He fell silent, not feeling any need to elaborate on the full plan of action he had set up for Kita. Nor on his own.

Shunsui sipped at his tea as he thought at what he thought was laid out before them. "Considering the time limit, can you create a duplicate of your precious orb, old friend?" As Kisuke looked away from the fox again, the captain commander went on. "If you could create something that could fool him just enough," he mused and tilted his head at Ichimaru next, chuckling as the boy flinched, "Ichimaru could retaliate against your trick and Kita could get in the line of fire... Perhaps," he stated as Ichimaru glared at him.
