Juushiro stood up. "Let's get this over with. None of us is going to let Rangiku pay the price for our decision to hide the Hougyoku." He paused. "This was supposed to be a three day process but Kisuke and I have tweaked the process." He looked to Kisuke, who continued to stare at the orb then back to his friend. "Someone needs to be drained completely, and you two are far too vital to this fight right now."

Shunsui scratched the back of his head. "I suppose that would be another reason for Kisuke to be brooding. Your reasoning makes too much sense." He lowered his head. "You realize how careful you are going to have to be to not have another attack afterwards, right?"
His best friend nodded.
Shunsui walked over to the table. "How can something that beautiful be the harbinger of so much chaos?"

Kisuke quirked a smile and looked at Kyoraku. "Because I created it?" He stood quickly and stepped back from Kyoraku's reach adjusting his hat as he only grinned at him.

Shunsui shook his head. "Nothing much from my end. I am nearly healed. Oh," he grinned, "I changed my mind. "Nanao-chan managed to reach Hinamori. She's begun to shake herself free of Aizen. If she can, I think we can find something to exploit here."
Juushiro laughed again. "Was that an inspirational speech?"

"Sounded like one to me." Kisuke said looking to Juushiro with a wider grin. He then became serious and looked between them both. "You know the second he gets his hands on the unsealed Hougyoku--" Kisuke paused with a heavy sigh. "He will come for Kita next. IF he don't try that same day."

Shunsui's eyes narrowed. "If we could create something to happen when he grabbed the Hougyoku and create enough chaos, he may have to leave Kita for another day," he mused aloud.

Kisuke sighed pulling his hat down over his eyes. "Yeah. I do." He stepped away from them, turned and looked between them. "We kill Kita."

As Shunsui froze, Juushiro stood up. "Is that even an option, old friend? Yes, she will become a soul, but the chance of finding her after..." he fell silent.
"If we're going to do that, we're going to need to have more forces on call when Aizen arrives," the captain commander murmured.
Juushiro spun to face his best friend. "You can't be considering this! Is that something Kita is going to understand if one of us could do it?"

Kisuke sighed, "it's the only way. If the Seraph knows she will protect Kita." He walked over to the table and sat down motioning for them to sit with him. Once they took a seat he continued.
"After removing the choker from Kita I did some more research on the seraph. What Aizen is trying to do is fruitless. It won't work. The seraph cannot live outside its vessel. He will fail in his attempt and possibly kill Kita either way. I will not allow him to do that. I will take her life myself first. At least then I will know she will be in the Rukongai and I can start looking for her."

Juushiro started to object but stopped himself, falling silent. Then he sighed and nodded. "You're the only one who has the right to decide this, Kisuke. If this is the choice you make, no one has a right to stop you."

Shunsui lowered his own hat over his head. "Sousuke is going to be pissed as hell with this plan," he mumbled, half to himself. "That will be the good part in this solemn affair." He looked to Juushiro who had gone quiet again then lifted his hat to focus on Kisuke. "Who's doing this macabre job? Yourself? And before or after you surrender this beauty?"
