The door opened again and Tsukiro walked in with a serious look on his face. "Alright. Something is wrong and I want to know what it is. And no beating around the bush. Out with it."

Kisuke turned and looked at Tsukiro. Then went back to his notes. "Fine. Here's the short end of the stick for you. If we don't get the choker off Kita in the next few days she will return back to Las Noches with Gin to get it removed."
He heard Tsukiro growl. "LIKE HELL!"
"If she don't," Kisuke turned looking at him. "She will die."

Kita walked in a few seconds later hearing Tsukiro's outburst. She looked around the room seeing everyone doing something, but Tsukiro. he was standing in the middle of the room glaring daggers at Gin and looking at Kisuke with not much better of a look.
She walked over to Gin resting her hands to his shoulders and looked at what he was reading. "Is this the book?"
Gin nodded as he read. "I guess Kisuke has you helping?"
He nodded again. "Want some help? Maybe I can see something you don't or can't. Everyone interpets reading differently."

Kisuke looked to Tsukiro and sighed. "If you don't want her to go back to Las Noches make yourself useful. Go wake up Juushiro and get back in here. I can always use another set of hands."
Kisuke turned back to his notes shaking his head.

As Tsukiro glared at him and left the room, the fox looked to his pet with a grin. "That's a good idea," Gin responded and lifted his arm. "Come here, dearie~" he purred. Kita giggled and sat down on his leg, curling up to lean against his shoulder. Supporting her snuggle with his arms around her, Gin continued to read.

As Tsukiro came back, Ukitake walked in with him. He walked over and took the notes in his hands. He looked over them. When he was finished he looked up, staring at nothing.
"A key." The others gave him weird looks, but he just waved them off. "If the collar is unlocked with a key, then shouldn't you be able to make a copy? After all, if you have a lock but no key, all you have to do is make one." He looked to Kisuke. "You could use the collar's lock as a mold and create a copy of the key. It should work, in theory, right?" |

Kisuke looked to Tsukiro then turned walking over to Kita and pushed her hair aside. "Sit up Kita." Kita sat up in Gin's lap as Kisuke looked to Tsukiro. "Come here Tsukiro." Tsukiro walked over to him. Kisuke showing him the key's lock.
"Its a six prong key. The key is made of an energy source which is not noted in the notes. And it is made of the Aeronite crystal. There is not enough of the crystal to replicate the key. And even if there was. The key has to be turned to a certain degree and back to get it to release."

Tsukiro paused to think. Then his head popped up and he turned to Ichimaru. "Ichimaru. Where did Aizen get the crystal in the first place? And don't lie! If you know, out with it. If we can get more of this crystal from somewhere, maybe we can make another key." |

As Captain Ukitake frowned over the boy's shoulder, Gin looked up over Kita. "It was found somewhere in town. I don't know where. Szayel's mission covered that angle and I was busy kidnapping my former lieutenant. However, I doubt he would leave any behind. Anything else, smartass?" the fox called over to him. Tsukiro returned to glaring at him. Gin only chuckled and turned back to the book. "Sit up, dearie. Your breasts are getting in the way of the small print at the bottom."

Kita giggled softly sat up and wiggled back on his lap. "Sorry. I didn't ask for them to be this big." She went back to reading as well.

Juushiro shook his head and took a seat, taking photocopies from Tessai. "Kisuke, I will borrow Tessai to get a a better understanding of what we know so far, if you don't mind."
Kisuke motioned with his hand before snatching the notes back from Tsukiro. The boy protested. "You can look over my shoulder, but I can't wait for your brooding," the shopkeeper snapped.
The captain started reading in one corner, asking Tessai questions in an undertone, as he went through the small writing.

Tsukiro growled and grabbed the book from the table. He snapped it shut and slammed it on the other side of the table. He growled at Ichimaru. "Then how about you get up off your ass and go beat the information out of Szayel! Keeping Kita stuck to your hip like you're conjoined twins isn't going to save her life so instead of dismissing a possibility, get up and find out more about it!"

Kita looked at Tsukiro with sharp eyes. "Szayel is one of Aizen's most trusted Esapda. He is loyal to his lord. Master Gin would kill him first before Szayel would talk. No good would come from it and you would be putting Master Gin's life in danger by going back for something like that."
She stood reaching for the book and pulled it back, opening it back to the page they were reading and sat back to Gin's lap wiggling back into place to be comfortable. "There is a away. I know there is, I heard Szayel talking about it. But he had me so drugged I can't recall everything he said."

"There is always a way out," Gin murmured, not rising to the brat's bait this time as Kita moved back to his lap. He smirked. "It's a truth I know well. We just have to find it, and if we can't find it with what we have here, we aren't going to find it in time."
Tsukiro looked like he was about to say something but turned around with a huff when faced with Kita. For a few minutes, it was quiet.
"Dearie," Gin purred, loud enough for Tsukiro to hear, "if you don't stop moving around like that, I am going to do my own drugging in retaliation to your lovely distractions."

Tsukiro growled again and snatched the book from Ichimaru. "Then if you're so distracted, I'll be taking this. With you having her straddle you, you'll never find anything. I'll look through the book. You help with the notes." He walked to the door and opened it. He looked back at them. "I'll report my findings after I'm done, so sit tight."
With that he was gone, off to read and concentrate in peace where he wouldn't be subjected to anything that would anger him further. He would be able to find out more on his own. |
