Kita blushed and sat still on Gin's lap. "Sorry again." She turned the page in the book and stuck her nose back it still blushing. Gin still chuckled softly as he pet her hair down her back. She gasp when the book was snached from under her by Tsukiro. She watched him as he stormed from the room slamming the door behind him.
She growled and looked at Gin. "Was I really his girlfriend? I am starting to think there was something wrong with me if I was."

Juushiro walked over. "Everyone is affected differently when someone they love is taken from them, Kita. Try not to judge the boy now. Wait until you have your memories back." He handed the two of them his photocopies of the book then turned to Kisuke. "I will be back soon. I am going to look at some old research of mine that's locked in the archives."
Kisuke chuckled. "I thought it was I who had devious research papers in hiding, not you, old friend." He frowned. "What happens if you don't pass your checkup? You know if you go back there, Kotetsu is going to demand you go to it."
Juushiro nodded. "If I get held up, I will send Rukia with them."
Kisuke nodded and adjusted his hat. "Out of curiosity and time's sake, what are you looking for?"
Juushiro paused in the doorway. "I'm not sure. My memory wasn't at my best when I was working with it." He left the room.

Kisuke pulled his hat down over his eyes and looked to Kita. "Do you think if I hypnotized you you could remember?" Kisuke said looking to Kita with an annoyed look on her face.
"If we can recreate the same effect Szayel's drugs had on you, maybe we can get the missing information we need."

Kita looked to Kisuke and remembered that day after she left the lab. "You won't drug me will you? Just hypnotize me to make me think I am drugged, right?"
Kisuke nodded. "I don't want to have to drug you unless we can find no other way."
Kita nodded. "I guess that will be ok then." She stood from Gin's lap and stepped slowly away from him.

Kisuke offered his hand to her leading her over to an empty chair. He sat her down and looked back at Gin. "Before we start this I want to know if you know what Szayel is drugging her with?"

"No, I don't," Gin replied and sighed. "He had me busy with the seraph's room or keeping him company each of the times Szayel had her up to the choker placement." He grinned. "That's why I retaliated with chaos in his lab."

Kisuke sighed and looked to Kita. "Can you explain to me how the drug makes you feel, Kita?"
Kita blushed and looked to Gin then back to him. "I feel like I am in another world like I am inside the looking glass looking out. And it..." Her cheeks turned a brighter red.
"It what Kita?" Kisuke asked her.
"It makes me really... horny." Her last word but a whisper but Kisuke heard it plain as day. Kisuke looked to Gin, a dirty look on his face.
"You bastard." He growled.

Gin had been listening closely and had his own steely look for Kisuke. "Don't go blaming me, Hat-n-Clogs. You already know some of what I have done on Aizen's orders and he was starting to doubt that I had control over Kita."

"So dominating her in bed is controlling her?!" Kisuke retorted. Gin narrowed his eyes.
"Stop it." Kita told them. "I have only had sex with Master Gin twice. Once because of Aizen and once because I wanted it."
Kisuke looked to Kita in shock. "You wanted it?!"
"I have needs too, Kisuke. It's was nothing to him. I was just a fuck."
Kisuke looked to Gin even more pissed off. "That doesn't make me feel any better, Kita."
He walked over and grabbed a pocket watch from a drawer and walked back in front of Kita. He looked to Gin before he started. "Lock the door and remain completely silent. The slightest bit of noise can set her off and mess this whole thing up."

"Maybe I should wait outside then," Gin retorted with a slight hiss. "You never know when your prodigy is going to come back and ruin things."
Kisuke glared. "If you wouldn't encourage him-"
Gin scoffed. "Please. If I was outside watching the clouds, he'd see me as the enemy."
Kisuke shook his head and pointed to the door. "Fine. Leave the room and guard the door."
Gin kissed Kita's cheek, causing Kisuke's eyes to narrow further, and then waved, closing the door behind him.

Once the room was empty Kisuke went to work. He had Kita under in no time and to his shock and overwhelming surprise it was not Kita that came fourth. It was Sumi. He pulled up a chair and set down as he looked at Kita. The voice that slipped through her lips was warm and gentle with a soothing tone that relaxed him.
"I am sure you are surprised to find me instead of Kita." Sumi told him.
"Yes, I need answers in how to remove the choker to save you and Kita from the Aeronite crystal."
"It is simple."
"So you say." Kisuke chuckled softly adjusting his hat. "If you know why don't you share so I can get that choker off her?"
"And what will you do when Aizen claims her again. You do know he will come for her again."
Kisuke growled. "Not if I can help it."
Sumi shook her head. "It is written. There is no changing it. Aizen will come for her again and she will not return until Aizen has been stopped."
"How the hell are we going to stop him if he has you!? There is no way in hell we can stand against a God!"
Sumi nodded. "Yes you are correct there, but Kita will not be alone. You have to trust her feelings and instincts on this. She will not lead any of you down the wrong path."
"That's easier said than done when someone you have a hard time trusting stands beside her as her savior."
Sumi chuckled. "You mean Ichimaru? You can trust him. His ways are very unorthodox, but he cares for Kita very much. You will never come between them. They need one another to survive this. Kita is his light and Ichimaru is her darkness. Together they are one and one without the other is as good as lost and or dead."
Kisuke sighed. "If that is so then tell me how to get that choker off Kita because if I don't get it off he won't have her any more."
Sumi nodded and started to explain to Kisuke how to do what he needed to do. Once Sumi was finished and Kisuke wrote down the last bit of information she looked at him and smiled.
"I am sorry Urahara, but when the choker is removed Kita's memories will not return."
"Why the hell not?!" Kisuke growled crushing his notes in his hand.
"Because I am protecting her memories and releasing them now would only cause her more pain when I fully release them in the end. Until then. Kita will be lost to everyone. Including herself until this is over."
Kisuke growled and narrowed his eyes at her. "Do you know the hell--"
"Do you hear yourself?" Sumi said cutting him off. "Stop thinking of yourselves. I do not care of the hell you or anyone else is going through because of her memory lose. My main concern is my vessel. I need her strong of mind as well as of body. Return me to her as the Seraph and I will protect her, and when this over Kita will return to you. She will need all of you to pull her through this. When I release her memories she will not only remember her past she will remember from the time I sealed them to this very conversation."
Kisuke eyes widened. "You're going to make her an emotional basket case!"
"She is strong she will pull through this." Sumi said. "If I did not know this to be true I would not return her memories at all."
Kisuke growled again. "I am done here." Kisuke stood from his chair and walked toward Kita's body. "I will save you only because of Kita. Other than that I could careless what happens to you. It's you that Aizen wants. Not Kita. Just get out of her body and let her come back home to us."
Sumi chuckled again as she watched Kisuke places his hand in front of Kita's face and snap his fingers. Kita's head fell to the side but she did not wake up. Kisuke sighed and picked her up in his arms and walked to the door unlocking it. There in front of the door stood Gin.
He extended Kita out to him. "I can save them. By tomorrow morning I will have the new choker made. Put her to bed and let her sleep."

Holding her close, Gin nodded. He walked towards his room without another word. Still furious at the Seraph, Kisuke closed the door, getting to work.

"The Day of Meticulousness":It was late morning or early afternoon. Whatever time of day you might want to call it. However, to Kisuke it was a day he would never forget. A day unlike any other he had faced. It was nothing to pick up his sword and defend a loved one or a friend, but to actually hold their life in your hands was a weight he could barely carry. Not only was this person loved and cherished by him, but by many others.
He had checked and double checked even checked again and again to make sure all his calculations were correct. There was no margin for error in this task. It had to be done right the first time. There were no redos allowed in this game Aizen set before them. It was a do or die, and the sad part was the one that would die would be sorely missed if an error was made.
He couldn't fail, he could not even mess up in the slightest bit. Perfection was the word for the day and it was planted deep in his mind. Everything was ready now as he laid the new choker on the table. He then turned to Tessai and nodded as Tessai rose from his chair. "Just the three?" Tessai replied."Yes. No others will be allowed." Kisuke told him.
Only two others would be allowed in the room with him and Tessai besides Kita and they were Ichimaru and Tsukiro. Kisuke believed that if anything were to happen it would be best to have the ones closest to her here in the room.
Hearing the door open Kisuke looked up and over to the door seeing Tessai exit. He was off to collect the ones in mention.

Tsukiro walked in quietly, looking like the walking dead. His eyes were empty and dark circles underlined them. As he sat in a chair in the corner, he said nothing for a long while. When he did speak, it wasn't what Kisuke expected.
"After this is over and Kita's life isn't in danger, I won't be around for a while. I'm no use to her or anyone else in my condition. I need to get it together before I end up getting everyone killed, including Kita and myself." |

Kisuke looked over to Tsukiro and nodded. "If you feel that is what you need to do then do it. I need you at 100% not moping around and thinking like a child that lost his favorite toy." Kisuke walked across the room and gathered a few more items. When he turned he looked Tsukiro in the eyes. "Ichimaru will be in here with us. Kita don't need an attitude from you or him. I expect you to be at your best."
Tsukiro was about to speak up when Kisuke stopped him short.
"Ichimaru will hear the same thing from me. We have to put our energy into Kita and keeping her calm and stress free. One screw up on on my part of doing this and Kita is as good as gone. She has to sit still and not move."
