Kisuke looked to Tsukiro from under his hat. "Before. After. You can hold her all you want. But during. NO ONE is touching her but me. No one will be allowed to even hold her hand." He leaned down on the table, palms flat, arms straight and elbows locked as he hung his head.
"This poison in the choker. One drop. If one drop gets on her she is dead."

Tsukiro nodded, not saying anything. His hands shoved in his pockets, he slouched in his chair, staring at the vials and beakers sitting around Kisuke's lab. If that was the case, he could forget it. There was no way she wanted him anywhere near her if there wasn't a reason to be. He closed his eyes and tilted his head back.

Tessai returned and let Gin and Kita enter the room before leaving himself. Gin had a hand on her shoulder and lacked his usual smile. Seeing Tsukiro, his eyes narrowed but he said nothing. For now. Kita looked back at him and for a moment, a flicker of a grin formed on his face.
"It will be alright, dearie."

Kisuke looked up from where he was resting and looked toward Kita and Gin as they entered the room. He watched as Gin's eyes narrowed. Kisuke stood and looked sternly at him.
"I will tell you the same thing. There will be no attitudes in this room. Your energy will be focused on Kita. If you can't do that leave now."
He looked to Tsukiro which stood when they entered his eyes narrowed as well.

Tsukiro stood up and moved over to them. Kisuke looked to the two of them and nodded. Tsukiro turned to him. "So how is this going to be done?"

Gin could feel a sarcastic remark on the tip of his tongue, but by squeezing Kita's shoulder, the urge passed. He stayed silent as the br- boy asked the question they were all wondering.

Kisuke walked over taking Kita's hand and walked her over to a bar stool type chair. He helped her up in it and turned to the table. He picked up two cups. One had water the other two small pills.
"I need you to take one at a time. The green one first. Let me know once you have it swallowed. We wait ten minutes then you have to take the other."
Kita nodded and lifted the green pill from the cup and popped it into her mouth. She took a sip of the water and swallowed the pill. She nodded and Kisuke looked at the clock.
He looked to Gin and Tsukiro then to Kita then back to the guys. "I have made a duplicate choker to fool Aizen for when he claims her again. This one is safe and it blocks Sumi reiatsu so it will make Aizen think she is still dormant. The original choker has to be cut off. The collar part of the choker is filled with a poison I am not familiar with. Sumi told me how to counter it." He looked to Kita. "You just swallowed the antidote to it, but it won't stop you from getting poisoned if your body absorbs enough of it."
Kisuke sighed lowering his head. "Because there is no real known antidote for it."

Kita's eyes widened as she reached for Gin. "Master Gin." A tear trickled down her cheek.
"I don't want to do this. Please say I don't have to do this."

Gin knelt down next to her and took her hand. "Kita, you must," he murmured. She lowered her head and nodded. Gin kissed her forehead and stepped back again. "I am right here," he stated. "Focus on me and not on what's happening here. You can do this." She shook her head. "Yes, you can," he stated firmly. "You could take me shredding your back on Aizen's orders. You can do this." He paused. "Trust yourself."

Tsukiro gave her a smile of encouragement. "Don't worry, Kita. We won't let anything happen to you. You can do it. You're stronger than all of us put together. And with us here you're even stronger. Just use that strength and it'll be over before you know it."

Kita nodded she was shaking as she held her hands in her lap. "I will try." She lifted her hand and wiped away a tear. She looked to Tsukiro and Gin and smiled. "I will do my best. I promise."

At this point, Kita was shaking visibly as Kisuke turned to her and took both her hands. "You have to calm yourself, Kita. I need you perfectly still. If you move even a hair Benihime may catch your neck and we don't need open wounds. That will only give the poison a better chance to enter your bloodstream." He turned to the table and picked up what looked to be a circular thin glass collar.
"I am going to slide this between your neck and the choker for added protection. Glass is the only thing that the poison cannot pass through. But it is still breakable. That is why you have to be completely still."
Kita nodded as Kisuke released her hands and he turned looking at Gin and Tsukiro once more. "Is there anything else you two want to know before we start this?"

Gin shook his head. A part of himself wanted to leave the room and cut all ties with these people. It was easier when it was only Ran he had to worry for. But he knew it was too late. At least with Kita, she was too important.
He turned back to Kita and offered her a smirk. "It will be over before you know it."
