Yumiko tilted her head. "There's no reason for me to leave the man I love," she said. "Ever since he found me and asked me to follow him, he's given me everything I could ever wish for and now he's given me his love. I have no reason to even consider living somewhere else." She lifted a hand to her chest. "This may be a lonely world sometimes, but it has what I need." She lowered it to her lap, sliding her fingers over her red sash. "I'm sorry that it doesn't have what either of you are seeking though."

"I am seeking nothing. And, your Lord Aizen has very little to offer me." Vale furrowed his brow as his gaze became an icy stare. "Are you so foolish to believe that he loves you?" He glanced quickly to Kita as she shook her head. He forced a deep breathe out through his nose. "Think what you wish. I will go when my task is done."

Yumiko looked between Kita and Vale. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Aizen would never lie to me, Tervaden. Why would he lie to his Queen?"

"He may have his reasons. But, clearly it is working to his advantage." Vale shook his head. He bowed slightly towards Kita. "I will check on you later."

Kita bowed in return to Vale then stood walking him to the door to let him out. Opening the door she spoke softly to Vale. "Placing doubt in her mind is good, but if you value your head. I would never come right out and tell her the facts. She will defend Aizen and if she tells Aizen he will come looking for the person that opened her eyes."
She smiled warmly at Vale and bowed slightly to him again. "Thank you for coming by and I look forward to our next visit."

Vale shook his head. "Then you are no better than he is, keeping the truth from her." He waved and smiled at Kita as he walked away. "Until tomorrow."

Kita shook her head. "That's not fair, Vale. I am looking out for her as well and myself in this game. I don't want what's happening to me to happen to her if it can be avoided and you know if she retaliates that's exactly what will happen."
She watched him as he continued to walk away waving over his shoulder. "Do what you want, Kita." He told her.
Kita shook her head again and closed the door returning back to Yumiko. This time she sat across from her in the set Vale occupied minutes before. She smiled warmly at her. "Would you like some more tea?"

Yumiko nodded, remaining silent for a moment, blue violet eyes staring at the swirls of tea in her cup.
"Yumiko?" Kita asked, reaching for her cup.
Yumiko shook her head. "I'm sorry, Kita. Something about the gaze in his blue eye gave me goose bumps."
She looked back down at her now refilled cup, watching the steam rise up. "I don't know why he said something like that but I will trust Aizen." She took a long drink of her hot tea, lowering her cup and wiping her eyes quickly. "If Lord Aizen was lying to me, he would have punished me for wounding him that night, not carry me out, find me in the garden later, and assure me that my apology wasn't necessary. He wouldn't have been so caring."
Smiling softly, she glanced back up at Kita. "I'm sorry I haven't been by to check on you. After everything, I found myself to be exhausted and unwilling to leave Aizen's side for long. I needed the strength of his presence to believe I wouldn't lose control again."

Kita reached across the table and touched her hand giving her a warm smile, Yumiko lowering her head again looking into her cup. "I wish I knew the truth that laid behind those brown eyes of his. He is the only person I have issues with reading. I only know what I have experienced, heard, been told and what I have seen."
When Yumiko looked up to her again Kita looked into her eyes. "I can't tell you what to do Yumiko. You are your own person and though we might have to listen to what our mind tells us, we have to follow our heart." Yumiko gave her a warm smile and nodded causing Kita to give her hand a gentle squeeze. "But will you do me at least one favor to repay you for your kindness from healing me?"

Her smile grew and Yumiko nodded. “If it is within my power to do so,” she replied, "I'd be glad to do you a favor, Kita."

Kita nodded with a serious look on her face and in her eyes. "I know you trust him and I am sure even love him, but from what I have lived since I have been here. What I have heard from my Master about him and what I have heard from others about him." Kita sighed and cast her eyes down to the table then looked back to Yumiko.
"Please be very careful around Aizen. Don't let your heart blind or block your gut feelings or better judgment when it come to him and the things he might ask of you. I might be wrong." She smiled warmly at Yumiko. "And I hope I am in this case, but from the knowledge I have on Aizen... He is using you as much as he is using me. He is just doing it in different ways to get us to be loyal followers."

Yumiko tried to listen to her words calmly, she did, but with each word, her head began to ache, throb, and by the end, it was pounding severely against her temples. Trembling, she pulled her hand away from Kita’s and stood, knocking her teacup over. She barely noticed the heat as it scalded her legs. She just shook her head, trying to rid herself of the terrible pain in her head. Mizue no Kagami was hot underneath her fingers. Kita called out to her but she didn’t notice, not until a cool hand settled over her temple, and the edge of pain faded. “Thank you,” she murmured, blinking through tears in her eyes. Yumiko looked at Kita and then down at her ruined uniform. “I should probably go and change my uniform.”

Kita sighed softly and stood from the table as well. "Yes it might be best if you did." Kita walked from the kitchen with Yumiko behind her following. Stopping at the door Kita rested her hand to the handle and looked to Yumiko one last time before she opened the door.
"You wanted to know the name of the Espada that attacked me that night." Kita paused and looked her in the eyes. "It was Sexta. Not only did he rip me apart he rapped me." She rested her hand to Yumiko's shoulder feeling her tense, a concerned look in Kita's eyes rose. "Just promise me Yumiko. Promise me you will be careful and use your better judgment on everything here in Las Noches. Aizen's goal draws closer with every step I take in controlling Sumi's powers and the closer it becomes the more his true colors will start to show."
She opened the door for Yumiko breaking eye contact with her. "Will I be seeing you in the garden tomorrow?" Kita asked her making lighter of the tense conversation.

Yumiko leaned against the doorway, fighting against the terrible headache building, trying to dismiss Kita’s words, but unable to. She shook her head again. “Maybe,” she muttered, barely hearing the question. He loved her. She was different than Kita. Kita was beneath her notice. Things were different for her. Wasn’t it?
She stumbled past Kita without another word. She needed to find some place quiet to think. Something here was bringing her headaches back.

Kita nodded not saying another word as she closed the door behind Yumiko, she leaned against the door sliding down to sit on the floor. Resting her head and folded arms to her drawn knees Kita heard Sumi speak to her."Are you sure that was a wise thing to do?"Kita looked up seeing Sumi standing before her. "Of course it wasn't, but she needs her eyes opened before its too late for her. I would rather see her suffer through the doubt now instead of watching her suffer what I am going through." "And what if she tells Aizen?" Sumi asked."Then she tells Aizen. I will suffer through this until we can finally be free of this place." Kita sighed again and pushed up off the floor. She looked to Sumi shaking her head. "How is Gin?"Sumi nodded. "He is alive and well. He worries about you though."Kita giggled softly. "The feeling is mutual." She walked off toward the kitchen to make herself something to eat as she called back to Sumi. "You will tend to him while I can't, right?"Sumi did not follow as she stood in the main room. She smiled warmly and nodded. "You know I will." She watched as Kita disappeared into the kitchen. "After all, Gin is going to be playing a very important part in the end. I can't have him dying on me yet." With Sumi's last words Kita looked quickly back out into the main room her eyes wide. "He what?!" Sumi was gone. continued
