Kita explained and time passed. The noble went into meditation as Kita pulled file after file from the the first box, returning to reality when she huffed loudly. Glaring at the files, she pulled them back one more time and went through them again with Tsukiro stroking her head. After she was had gone through them a second time, the captain spoke up.
"Maybe we are wrong in that she came from Rukongai," he murmured. He stood and pushed those files back into their box at her feet and pulled the next box over to himself. "Eat," he ordered. "I will separate these from noble descent and those who are related to other soul reapers." She nodded, stretched and went over to the stack of food by the door.
Byakuya ignored her invitation and started to sort those that they had considered least likely. After Kita had finished, she started on the growing pile of nobles. Captain Kuchiki had sorted the profiles sorted shortly after she finished eating. She looked closely at the those in the piles, and started over. With no luck.

Finally finishing the ever growing stack of Nobles. Kita sighed in disgust and stood. "This is impossible. She should not be this hard to place. She is Aizen's daughter. She is just like him. She walks like him. Talks like him." She paced the floor. "She acts like him. She had long flowing brown hair with brown eyes. High cheek bones, large breasts, pouty lips."
She turned quickly and looked at Byakuya. "Hell she even has the stupid annoying smirk Aizen has. Why can't I find her in these pictures?" She looked at Byakuya then spat out. "How old are the pictures!?"

"Well," Tsukiro said, shrugging. "Considering soul reapers live ten times as long as humans, even more of they're careful, these are probably hundreds of years old."
He looked to Captain Kuchiki asking, "do you have any pictures of these same people only more recent?"

Byakuya shook his head. "Arranging for everyone to have new photos taken of them, when usually only the communications department uses them, will alert the traitor. It is imperative to the commander's plans that she is captured, that she does not have a chance to flee." He looked down at the files before them with narrowed eyes. "We should have considered that finding her through an old photo was an unlikely solution to the puzzle she has been to us."

Kita looked at Tsukiro then slowly back to Byakuya. She knew what she was about to say was probably going to get huge resounding 'NO' from both Tsukiro and Byakuya, but she had to suggest it. If she didn't they were never going to catch Azayaka.
"Let me meet all the seated officers. She can't and won't be able to hide from me that way. I will know her the second I see her."

Byakuya's eyes widened for a moment before his mask smoothed over. "That would seem like unnecessary endangerment. There is also-" his further comment was quickly drowned out by the third seat's outburst.

"No way in hell! The last thing you need is to run into Aizen's hell spawn!" Tsukiro jumped up looking down at Kita sternly. "The moment you meet her, she's going to either threaten you to the point where you wouldn't dare rat her out, or she's going to fight tooth and nail to get you back to Las Noches! Even worse, she could follow you back and take you without any of us so much as getting a whiff of her. If she really is just like her father, you can forget about meeting her here face to face. If she's made it this long in the system undetected, she's obviously a pro at hiding and taking out anyone who is a threat to her identity quietly and without notice. I don't care if we have to look through every single file in the archives, we're not doing this face to face."

Byakuya started to speak up again as Kita let him say his piece then went into her own reasoning as of why. "We are never going to find her like this. Without sacrifice there is no gain, but if I am smart about it I can find her and she wouldn't be any the wiser. Plus. Commander Kyoraku already said I had to have a lieutenant escort while I was on the surface."
Tsukiro ranted again as Kita shook her head. She then quickly looked to Byakuya. His eyes telling her 'I agree with the third seat'.
"Why not?! I don't understand! You want to catch her don't you?! I would be safe. It's not like I am going to run off and do this by myself."

"Do what by yourself?" came Shunsui's voice from the entrance. He held up the two portions of uneaten food. "It's bad form to waste food, boys," he shook his head, "and usually it's the ladies I have to watch for." He placed a portion in front of Byakuya and one in front of Tsukiro. "I hereby order you to eat." After both reluctantly followed the instructions, the commander laid out on the second couch. Folding his arms behind him head, he addressed Kita again. "Why did it get so dramatic when I left, sweet-pea?

Kita looked to Kyoraku a fire in her eyes. "Commander." She walked over placing herself beside the couch he laid on and looked him in the eyes.
"I can't find Azayaka in any of the files that have been brought to me. So I suggested that I meet the seated officers face to face. Captain Kuchiki and Third Seat Ashimitsu thinks its a bad idea."

The Captain Commander was silent for a few moments, during which the third seat returned to eating. He gazed deep into her blue eyes, watching the fire kindled there, breaking contact by looking up at the ceiling. "It seems like a reasonable choice," he murmured.
As Kita's smile turned triumphant, Tsukiro nearly choked, but it was the noble who spoke first.

"Forgive me, Commander, but what if this is a rare example of powers being passed down to the next generation?" He exhaled as Kyoraku merely raised an eyebrow. "If she has inherited something like her father's powers, then it will be difficult for us to protect her."

Shunsui chuckled and sat up. "She has not had an opportunity to flaunt her abilities as her father before her, and any of the lieutenants would be on the alert for trickery. None of them are fools or unaware of Sousuke's abilities." As the noble captain stayed silent but raised an eyebrow, the commander's eyes narrowed slightly. "Running or in this case hiding serves no purpose here," he stated bluntly.

"I beg to differ!" Tsukiro said, pointing a dumpling at the Commander. "Any demon spawned from that man is hell on two legs! And the fact that she HASN'T shown her powers makes her even more dangerous. Aizen used trickery to fool Soul Society, but she's using our ignorance to her advantage. Now, I like the idea of that even less than the next person, but for that reason, we can't just waltz Kita through the squads, meeting every seated officer. It's suicide! With or without an escort!"

Shunsui folded his arms. "Let me put it this way, Tsukiro Ashimitsu, Captain Kuchiki. Holding Kita down here any longer is not an option. I refuse to treat her as prisoner unless Central orders me to act as such. From tomorrow onwards, Kita will be moving through Soul Society. If we don't identify this threat, what's stopping Sousuke's daughter from stealing Kita when she pleases? There are plenty of ways to kidnap someone and hold them even if we can detect a gargantua opening." Tsukiro lowered his dumpling. The commander continued. "As it is, if we give Kita an escort, if Azayaka makes a move, she will be the one who's a fool. We'll be watching Kita's movements. Any action on the daughter's part would incriminate herself."
