Byakuya nodded silently at the compliment as the commander took one of her hands in his.
"That is one of the reasons we are here today, but before you do that, I have to ask something else of you," he said, eyes serious. "We've given you time to rest - and I hate to remind you of those days - but I need to know anything you remember from your time in Las Noches, whether you may think it's insignificant or not. I am not talking about your treatment," Shunsui clarified quietly. "Kisuke's given me enough information there; however, anything about the situations of the captives would be helpful."

Kita lowered her eyes trying hard not to think of the treatment she suffered there. She closed her eyes and the last two she remembered seeing was Karin and Orihime. "Karin and Orihime were separated. They both were in the hall across from me. Orihime was," Kita shook her head, "scared. Concerned. Both I am sure." Opening her eyes she looked up looking at nothing in particular. "Karin got her arm broke buy the one they call Ulquiorra. And..." Kita fell silent a single tear trickled down her cheek. "I... I know Karin is a fighter. She is strong, but when the soul phone was found. She took blame for it, but her and I were both punished for it. Aizen had..." Kita fell silent again.
She felt Kyoraku's hand gently tighten around hers. "While he and Loki were..." Kita did not finish her sentence. "He told me he knew it belonged to me when he called a few people on it. He punished us both differently. He shared me with the Cero Espada and he had... he had Karin beaten." Kita shook her head. "I don't know how bad she was. I don't even know if she lived."
She looked to Kyoraku her eyes wet. "The one you called Yumiko. She is fine from what I understand. Before I ran away. Gin wanted me to go with him to talk to her. I think..." she looked to Byakuya. "I think he was going to try and open her eyes about Aizen. From the gift and little bit of information Aizen allowed to give me. I put two and two together and came to understand he had taken her innocents. When I lashed out about it he only laughed and told me I was his next conquest. That he would have me just as he did Yumiko."
Kita grew silent as she thought. "I don't know where they were keeping her." Silence fell again as Kita lowered her head. A few second past as her head quickly rose. "WAIT! Karin is across the hall now from Yumiko. I remember Aizen telling Ulquiorra where to put her. It was only down the hall and around the corner from where Orihime and I were being held."

Shunsui nodded solemnly. "That will help, Kita. It will help us greatly." He kissed her forehead. "One more question and then I will leave you to look at the photos of the officers in hopes of finding Azayaka." She nodded slowly. "What is the situation between Gin Ichimaru and Sousuke? From what you could understand? Kisuke said I should make sure to ask you about that."

Byakuya's eyes narrowed but he stayed silent. As long as Ichimaru walked the thin line he was daring to tread he would stay his hand of vengeance for the attempt on Rukia's life. If he stepped over the line again, though, or raised his sword towards her again, Kuchiki honor would demand that he move.

Kita held her head high and spoke from what she knew to be true as she looked Kyoraku in the eyes. "Its an act. Gin is again following his own agenda while being with Aizen. He will make you believe without a doubt that he is following Aizen, but he is not." She looked from Kyoraku to Byakuya. "I know what happen last time between soul society and Gin. Gin among others, told me. So don't get me wrong. Just because Gin is not following Aizen, that doesn't mean he will not kill. He will do what is needed to make Aizen believe he is part of his order once more." Kita hung her head. "I know that for fact by what he has done to me to keep me safe from Aizen."

"Understood," the commander whispered, standing up once more.
"After today, Kita, you're free to wander around Soul Society with a lieutenant escort. I. unfortunately, have a meeting with Central now." He turned to Byakuya then Kita. "If you have any questions when you go through the material of the officers, ask Kuchiki-san. He has been one of the main persons on the hunt for Aizen's daughter due his placement as the captain of the sixth division. Good luck to you both."
He strode to the door and paused. "Don't forget to eat, Kita dear," he called over his shoulder. Kita blushed deeply, as a feeling of deja-vu hit her. The commander laughed quietly and continued out, leaving her alone with the stoic noble.

Byakuya rolled his eyes before rising, bringing the bags of food over to the table then opening the top box of profiles. "We believe that Azayaka is from Rokungai, which makes tracing her more difficult as most of the districts do not keep records. This box contains those officers from Rokungai."

Kita nodded slightly to Kyoraku as he left the room, turning her attention back to Byakuya watching and listening to him speak to her.
Kita looked to Byakuya. "The Rokungai." She thought for a minute then shook her head. "I don't remember ever hearing that name. From her or anyone for that fact. She did mention something about having it hard."

The captain nodded once more. "That would fit the description of a good portion of Rokungai landscape. Some districts are either quite poor or filled with crime or both." He hesitated. "That being said some of the more powerful soul reapers come from there as well, as if in penance for the pitiful destination of their rebirth. Captain Hitsugaya, Ichimaru, Matsumoto, and Abarai, among others, hail from some of the poorest sections. A poor background is no reason to choose evil."

Kita looked to Byakuya. "Being Aizen's daughter. I doubt she had much choice which to choose." Kita sighed and looked to the box once more. "Should we get started?" She then giggled softly. "Or should be eat something since Kyoraku so nicely advised it and furnished it?"

Kita giggled. "Outnumbered much?" She looked from Byakuya pulling the first file. When she opened it the picture of the girl was on the front page.

Tsukiro slowly came out of the bedroom, his eyes scrunched closed, one hand at his temple. He cracked one eye open, looking over to find Captain Kuchiki and Kita sitting on the couch, looking through boxes. He shuffled over to the couch and sat next to Kita, taking her chin in his hand and turning her head to kiss her briefly on the lips.
"What'd I miss," he leaned back into the couch, rubbing his temples.
