"You're talking about the one you call the Brat, Tsukiro, right?" She tilted her head looking at him. Gin nodded as he brushed the hair from her face. She looked down at the honey comb in her hand and sighed.
"He don't like you. I think it would be safe to say he hates you." She looked back up at him and sighed. "I doubt he will want anything to do with me if and when we return." She shook her head, "and I don't know if he could be trusted with your son. Just because of his feelings for you he could be mean to him."
She then giggled softly letting her fingers caress his cheek. "A boy... I pray he is nothing like his hard headed father." She gave Gin a teasing look her warm cheerful smile returning.

Gin smirked. “I wouldn’t worry too much. If he is anything like his - what did you say - hard headed father, he will completely bend under your persistence.” She giggled and tossed the the honey comb at him. Gin easily caught it and bit into the treat. “Then again,” he murmured, licking his lips and fingers, “if he is like his mother,” he taunted, “he will befriend every creature around him and I will get no peace. You will need a bigger house."

Kita giggled and poked Gin in the stomach playfully. "Creature? Are you calling my friends creatures?" She went to all fours and prowled toward him. "If what I was told is true all my friends are soul reapers like you." She stopped moving forward, their faces inches apart. She pushed forward slightly and licked the honey from the corner of his lips. Pulling back slightly she looked into his eyes.
"Does that make you a creature?" She whispered.
She squealed out when Gin grabbed her playfully and rolled them over. Kita on her back as he now hovered over her holding the honeycomb over her, honey dripped down onto her. She giggled again and grabbed his wrist trying to push it away from her.
"Gin..." she still giggled. "You're going to make me a sticky mess."

Gin snickered and let the honey drip. “It’s a good flavor for you, dearie,” he purred, watching the honey drip down her outstretched arm. Leaning forward, he licked a wide strip up from her elbow up to her wrist, nipping at her vein. “Very tasty~” he smirked.A tingle ran through Kita's arm coursing through the rest of her body a soft moan escaping her. She retracted her arm releasing his wrist. "You might think so, but what are you going to do when I am a sticky mess?"Gin's smirk turned downright devious. "Shall we find out~?" he asked, tone mockingly nonchalant. He leaned down further, dripping the cone down into the V of her shirt and before she could yelp, kissed her. Hard. "You're addicting, pet." His smile softened. "The light was supposed to be enough, but now...
Gin let honey drip down on her upper chest, dipping down, he started licking the droplets of honey. Letting his tongue spread the sticky sweet substance across her skin. He then let his tongue dip down between her breasts. Moaning softly, Kita let her eyes close slowly, one of her hands lifted as she let her fingers comb through his silver hair.Moved

"Brief Reprieve": (continued) Gin frowned after her. What did he say? Sitting in bed, he examined his words closely then shook his head and followed her, grabbing his kimono as he walked. That’s not what I meant, Kita. I will be there.... I can’t leave now. The fox found his lover just out the door, wrapped in a sheet, both arms around her middle. Mist curled around the scenery and her form as the clouds covered the tops of the tallest trees. A breeze filled with the scent of rain filled the air. Gin approached her cautiously. “Dearie,” he started. Kita stiffened, probably waiting for the inevitable farewell. Gin sighed and wrapped his arms around her. “Kita, I did not mean I wouldn’t be there. I meant I wouldn’t be the only one who would love and help care for him. Because… you’re wrong if you think your family at the shop, especially a certain shopkeeper will abandon you.” Kita remained silent, not yielding, in his arms. He kissed the back of her neck. “I don’t plan on dying, Kita.”
He paused and decided to be honest. “Not. anymore.”

Kita looked across the landscape her hands lifting up and gently clasps onto Gin's arms that were around her. His words made her feel better, but she knew there were no promises to them walking out of there alive. For any of them. If they walked out at all.
"Do I have another family?" She felt Gin shift behind her as she turned her head to look at him. "Other than the ones at the shop. Do I have a mother and a father? Brothers? Sisters?" She sighed. "Or is it just me?" Her head slowly lowered. "I don't remember anything; other than my memories of -- Las Noches."

Gin growled, arms tightening around her, recalling his turmoil at the moment Aizen had tried to seal those memories of her forever. "I'm sorry, Kita," he whispered into her hair. 'That is also my fault." He fell silent for a moment. "Yes, you have a family. You're an only child with a loving mother and father, though you spend at least half of your time at the shop with Urahara...." he paused.
Would it be possible to give all her memories back now? If Sumi could unlock and seal a few days to protect her, could she do the same with all of them?

Kita turned in his arms and looked at him. "Stop it. It's not your fault." She cupped his cheeks and made him look at her. "Please... Gin... It's not your fault. Did you hold your sword to Aizen's throat and tell him to do this?" She shook her head. "No you didn't. So please stop blaming yourself for what that twisted man does. You might know him better than anyone person, but you can't read his mind."
She smiled at him softly, tiptoeing up she gently kissed his lips. Pulling back she asked him. "I remember you saying to the shopkeeper that I will get them back. Are they sealed? Or is it something that will return in time?"

“They’re sealed. I- “ he paused then continued. “In order to separate us and better control the goddess inside you, Aizen had you swallow a memory-stealing pill. But Sumi stopped him. She couldn’t afford for Aizen to actually succeed and take them away, so she sealed them, giving Aizen the impression he had succeeded. For your sake…. and mine.” He swallowed hard as the thought of that day made lead build in his heart. He pulled Kita into another embrace, pushing the emotions away. Again. “Sumi originally planned on releasing them after this was over…. I don’t know if it is possible to give them back to you before then.”

She wrapped her arms around Gin resting her head to his chest. "Did I..." she hesitated afraid of the answer.
"Did you what?" Gin ask her stroking her long hair.
"Did I... hate you. In my memories that are sealed?" She bit at her bottom lip, a sadness entering her voice. She started shaking her head. "Everyone keeps telling me I was in love with Tsukiro." She look up at him still holding him in her arms. "Were my feelings toward you bad? I know what I remember, but are those real memories or where they created to make this easier for me?" She shook her head again drawing her hand to her forehead. "No. No that's not right. Everyone at the shop told me you and I were friends." Lowering her hand she looked back at Gin smiling.
"What if I told you I don't want my old memories back? That I am happy with the way things are now." Gin's eyes slightly narrowed at her as she lowered her eyes from him. "I guess you don't like that thought."

“No, Kita,” Gin said gently, “I don’t. There is too much you have forgotten. It is wrong for you to be without it.” As she shook her head against his chest in denial, he titled her head upwards, staring into her dark blue eyes. “Kita, you don’t have to fear that you hated me in the past. You were a pest I could never get rid of, even after I stopped trying. Nothing was going to stop you from befriending me, not even my grouchy words.” She giggled and his eyes softened. “You accepted me for who I was. I didn’t need to change. Most of that part of our relationship hasn’t changed. Sumi let most of your feelings towards me remain.”
His arms slid back around her waist. “But what we have now is merely a small piece of the family and love that surrounded you, Kita. Feelings… change. But you have to decide to let them go, not run away from them.”

She rested her head against his chest again. "I was a pest, huh? I must have really seen something good in you to bug you so badly." She giggled softly. "And I wasn't running from my past. I am just so tired of conflict and I know there will be just that with all that I heard about --" she paused and lifted her head again. "He left me. He told me it was because he could not handle the fact of what was going on..." An almost pleased smile crossed her lips. "He broke up with me. He left me." She shook her head a confused look entered her eyes. "I don't know if I should feel sad about this or be happy."
She then sighed, "but then..."
Her stomach then growled breaking her thoughts a soft embarrassed giggle escaped her. "I guess its time to eat."Moved

"Sweet Sorrow":Kita, after finally calming herslef from the conversation with Sumi. Pulled her hair up, pinning it in a bun to the back of her head leaving a few strands losses around her face. She dressed in a white kimono adorned with soft pink apple blossoms petals, a soft pink hiyoku, her obi a silver in color and the typical zori for her feet. Exiting the room she had seen Gin still had not returned, so she took advantage of the silence and the beautiful surroundings at the cottage. Exiting out the front door, Kita walked the grounds around the cottage. The garden was beautiful with the array of many colored flowers and different types of flowering trees. It was so tranquil. One could surely get lost in its beauty. The perfect place to think and clear your mind.
Finding a old bench sitting off in the mists of the flowers, Kita followed the small cobble path that lead to it. She gathered the kimono around her and and took a seat. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The many scents around her awoke so many of her senses. Slowly she exhaled, her eyes slowly opening as well. When her eyes opened Sumi was standing in front of her. Kita's tranquility disappeared as her eyes narrowed at her. Quickly she went to stand.
"I told you to leave me alone."Sumi set her hand to her shoulder and made her sit back down. "I know what you learned today was hard for you to swallow. I am sorry I could not tell you what the boy was thinking in all of this. I cannot read minds. I only know what I see."Kita looked away from her, her hands in her lap. "I don't need you to tell me anything about Tsukiro. I know him.""Do you?" Sumi questioned. Kita looked back to her, her eyes still narrowed. "Did you know he was betrothed to marry another. He loves her very much.""You lie!" Kita growled. "Tsukiro would have told me that!" Sumi chuckled softly. "I do a lot of thing, Kita, but lying is not one of them. And he did tell you about her." Sumi paused and sat down next to her. "Her name is Kaori Shihoin.""Yoruichi Shihoin's sister?" Kita asked with wide eyes as she looked quickly to Sumi."Her niece." Sumi replied looking across the garden. "He left her to be with you, and because she loved him so much and wanted him happy. She let him go."Kita turned hesitantly not sure what to say as she too looked out over the garden herself. "He told me... he said...""They were good friends." Sumi finished her sentence. Kita's head lowered slowly as she wrung her hands in her lap. "No wonder he never took me to meet her. He knew I would see this."Sumi sighed nodding slightly, "Kita. I am not telling you this to tear you apart. I am telling you this because Tsukiro is as confused as you are right now. He has no longer become healthy for you. You have grown, changed and now you have a child on the way. A child by a man that he loathes."Kita shook her head crossing her arms over her stomach. "He would never.""You do not know what Tsukiro would do and neither do I--until it is too late." Sumi told her.A single tear rolled down Kita's cheek. "But Tsukiro is a good man."Sumi nodded again, "he is, but you have seen him in his jealous fits of rage."Kita wiped the lonely tear away as she looked to Sumi again. Her head shaking lightly. "You're wasting your breath, Goddess. You know that. You will never change my mind about Tsukiro. Just like you could never change my mind about Gin. We all have issues. We all make mistakes. All we ask for is forgiveness and hope that he can get that in the end." Kita looked back across the garden. "I won't listen to your talk any longer. I know...As well as you know--" She gave Sumi a side glance. "--Where my heart lies. Be if he wants me or not after this. My heart will never change. I know where my heart lies." Sumi grinned, nodding as she stood from the bench, her hands tucked in front of her, not looking Kita's way. "I will leave you to your own then. He will be here soon. Enjoy your last few hours together. For you will be returning shortly."Kita only sighed as the thought of having to leave her master, lover and the father of her child once more entered her mind. Sumi slowly fading from sight and the garden.

Gin returned to the cabin later in the afternoon. It had been longer than he had hoped, but it had taken a long time to convince himself to stop searching for the key in Shinsou’s latest bag of tricks. Furthermore, he was weary from spending that much time in his inner realm fighting losing battle after losing battle. The wounds may not show when he exited the inner space, but deep throbbing radiated from each place Shinsou had sliced him. Gin knew what it all meant. He wasn’t ready. But why? And if he wouldn’t be ready now, would he be ready in time to save his son and their child’s mother? As Gin reached out, Kita’s melancholy thoughts fueling his own, a wicked chuckle filled his mind. Enacting a switch. Gin’s eyes flashed dangerously beneath his silver bangs. He would rescue Kita and their son no matter what he had to do. Even if he had to throw himself to the darkness. He could not go too far to end it for them. To end his master, Sousuke Aizen.
The goddess had promised him, and he would deliver. Entering the garden, Gin saw Kita rise from the bench. Tears shone in her eyes, threatening to undo him, but Gin kissed her and let a smirk grace his lips. Devious darkness lingered in the back of his piercing azure eyes. There would be an end to this. One way or another.

She smiled softly at Gin even though her heart was heavy, though his kiss helped her settle the weight that rested there. "You do not look as if you have been beaten, but I can see in your eyes that you're hurting." Her smile widened. "And unlike me, it is not emotional."
He kissed her forehead and chuckled softly. "I will be fine."
"That's what you always say." She took his hand and sat them to the bench. "You could be missing a limb and you would still tell me you're fine." She held his hand in hers as they sat there, her eyes looking down. Lifting her other hand she slowly and gently traced a few of the lines on the back of his hand.
"I have something I need to share with you." She laid her hand over the top of his hand she held, as she looked up at him again.
