Gary paused in his path, his back to the silver haired fox speaking to him as he then started walking again. "What makes you think I am here for any other reason but to follow my feet home? The question should be turned on you. Why would you be here seeking out a mere human that can do nothing but exist in this--peace, you call a life?"
He paused again and turned looking at Ichimaru. "Is that not what all of you sought out? A peaceful life of existence? Leaving your goals and dreams to fate? Leaving your lives, to the very Gods that lead you to your peace? The God that twisted the man named Vale Tervaden making him do their bidding? And the God--" he paused pushing up his glasses, "the Goddess. That leads your lover. Will she be next? Will our precious Kitten be the next one they turn on?"
He stepped closer to Ichimaru. "Will she? Ichimaru. And what of Sojiro born of a human and a soul reaper. Not so uncommon, but what of the Godly essences that the boy possesses. Will they turn on him as well?" He grew silent once more as he looked into the angered mans eyes. "Be mad Ichimaru, be very mad; however, channel that anger in the right direction--At the Gods. For I---"
He lifted his arms out to his sides, his cane resting to his right hand as it dangled from his thumb. "I am human. I can do nothing."

Gin snarled, his eyes narrowed to slits, as he stared down at the small man before him, the shell of his former master. But no longer. “Kita will never be yours, Aizen. And that goes for my son as well. There are many kinds of gods out there, and I - for one- ” he smirked, “like Sumi. With her aid, I made you little but meat on a chopping block, helpless as any of other pawn you’ve discarded.” He paused. “I have to say tearing your heart out was even better than leaving a hole in your chest, bastard.”
He stepped back. “You’re right, Aizen-san, you can do nothing. You’re an old man who needs a cane to lean on, but no one is fool enough to believe you will stay that way. Which is it, Captain, ten or fifteen years? Two or seven?"

Gary chuckled lightly. "Does it matter? Like the waves as they make towards the pebbl'd shore, so do our minutes hasten to their end." He pushed up his glasses and smirked at Ichimaru. "Now is the age of anxiety. Know how to live the time that is given you, Ichimaru. For time, whose tooth gnaws away everything else, is powerless against truth--"
His eyes glimmered in the afternoon sun from behind his glasses as he looked to Ichimaru. "And there is nothing more deceptive than an obvious fact. There are two ages, where it begins, another five, you will find the end."

Gin's eyes glistened with scarcely concealed rage at the blatant threat but did not lash out this time. Because there was something else that had caught his attention - the fact that the impatient streak and swift temper - weakness gained in prison - were gone. He didn't like it. Behind the shell of a human carcass was the mind of a captain with labyrinthine strategies, answers layered in meanings, threats, or hints and finally unbridled confidence with time before him. The man who has spent decades waiting to carry out his plans. His former master at his strongest.
This was a man sure of triumph and vengeance no matter what form he wore or how vulnerable he was now.
A drop of moisture slithered down Gin's neck.
"You'll die before you can accomplish any of those deeds."

"Say the failure standing before me." Gary replied. "Tell me Ichimaru? What is the real reason for you coming to seek me out?"
"Failure?" Gin repeated. "I would say the one in a human guise is the one failing." He ignored his question. He would not be frightened off. Aizen was also a master at masks when the unexpected happened.
Gary chuckled lightly, "only you would see it that way. How could me being hid under your very nose, collecting vital information be a failure? With you being in a coma I had a chance to really get to know Kitten and Sojiro along with the others. As a matter of fact--" He paused pushing up his glasses. "Did you know Kitten actually hates the human race?"

Becoming more and more irritated at his talk about his son and that nickname of his for Kita, Gin turned around, but he couldn’t help but pause at that question. Kita hated her own race? At first tempted to brush it off as a jest, he changed his mind and turned back around, waving his hand. “And your point? She spends more time with other creations. Last time I checked soul reapers and hollows weren't human."
It would be better not to mention the quincies. I still have little knowledge of them, besides healing me in my sleep.

"Indeed. In her beliefs they could all die and she would not shed a tear for any of the greedy bastards." Gary shrugged when Ichimaru glared at him again. "Her words. Not mine. She believes they don't deserve to live for what they are doing to their only home. Their only planet."
Gary smirked, "she a very interesting individual. I should have taken better care of getting to know her then Yumiko. Kitten would be at my side right now; instead of yours. I find she thinks more like me than I believed."

Gin’s anger skyrocketed and he grabbed the old man by his collar. “It doesn’t matter what you’re thinking now, Aizen," he hissed in a deadly whisper. "Both of them are safe." His grip tightened. "And I will not let you twist Kita around.”
As you did me.
He let Gary go and stepped back. “She’s mine, Aizen. And there’s nothing you can do to come between us. All your attempts have failed. Give up and find a new bone. Kita is beyond your reach.”

Gary laughed, "If you believe that Ichimaru, why so angry? Confidence makes one proud and... confident. Not angry and aggressive."
Because I know you, bastard, and you never say something aloud unless you have found a way to exploit it. Gin took another step away from his former master and looked at some of the flowers through the window. What else can I learn? Besides him wanting revenge on us?
"Overconfidence blinds you to the weaknesses around you, Aizen-san."
"Really?" Gary cocked his head, "if that is true than why am I still alive and you and yours still trying to figure out how to kill me? You might think killing this form will do away with me as well, but you're sadly mistaken. You will only kill the little old man you see standing in front of you. So try as you will. You will only fail." His smirk appearing once more. "Again--" he spoke at a whisper.

"Well then," Kisuke said walking on to the scene as Gin was about to grab the man before him. "I guess you give us no choice then. Sousuke Aizen." Kisuke walked up to the two men resting his hand to Gin's shoulder. They looked at one another for a brief second, than back to the old man.
"He wants you to kill the old man. If you do he will jump to another host and then we have to start all over again."

Gin nodded tersely. He knew what the bastard wanted from him, and damned if he would play that role again. But he had been close to it before Kisuke had shown up. He needed something to cool himself down. He found it a moment later, in the kiss Sojiro had given him last night.
Gin moved forward once again. “I did succeed, Aizen. You had to be brought back with a forbidden kido. And then you were changed into an old, helpless human. You were put as far away from your goals as you could possibly be. Maybe I was in a coma for eight years, but you were mortal - on the brink of death - and on the farthest rungs of the hierarchy.” He stepped backwards again.

Kisuke let his hand slide from Gin's shoulder as he step back from Gary. Looking to the old man he smirked and adjusted his hat. "And now you will sit in my cell until one of two things happens. You emerge from this poor old man or he dies and you have no choice but to emerge. Because you are not about to escape my grasps. Not now. Not ever."
Kisuke stepped toward the old man to take hold of him. "Your days of chaos and mayhem are over Sousuke Aizen. Never again will you run free."

Gary chuckled as Kisuke grabbed hold of his wrist and tugged him forward as he grabbed his cane with the other hand. "There is an immutable conflict at work in life, a constant battle between peace and chaos. Neither can be mastered, but both can be influenced. How you go about that is the key to success."
He looked to Gin and smirked. "I think frankly when it comes to chaos you have seen nothing yet."

Gin growled in his throat. “And you know nothing about maintaining peace. Once hunted, a chameleon can no longer hide in the surroundings. You’re caught, Aizen, because you couldn’t control your pawns. A king may lead the army, but given time, any pawn can become the power to destroy the king. You could’t eliminate all possibilities, and now, your game is over.”

"Just because you have the king surrounded, Ichimaru. Don't think he is not capable of hurting you." Gary told him as he pulled away from Kisuke and stepped toward the silver haired reaper.
"Your son knows that one all to well."
Gin wasn't phased by that statement in the least. "My son would have beaten you given a little more time. And he knows how to keep coming back."
Gary chuckled lightly as Kisuke took hold of him again. "Just like his father. A glutton for punishment from his Master."
