Byakuya raised his head. “The news came to me straight from Urahara. He may do things in an unorthodox manner, but if he says it’s true, I don’t believe it’s a trick. He would be one of the first ones to question that. After his involvement in the last three attempts to either confine or put him down. We’ve reached the end.” His eyes narrowed, turning to the slavers in their backyard. "That matter at least."

Shinji’s eyes rolled to the noble captain across from him at the last comment and then moved on to other faces. “Well, I don’t know about you, but I feel a little cheated that it's over without us getting to play.” He folded his arms and leaned over in his chair. “Whoever got the honors better have some good details of pain.”
"Maybe it's not all over. Some of the rats could have escaped when the king croaked." Kenpachi’s head swung in the direction of the hybrid. “It’ll be a shame if they’re all gone before my baby girl gets a chance to show off.”
Shinji scoffed. “Just your baby girl?”
The one-eyed giant grinned. “And you’re just worried about our feelings?”
Shinji snickered, acknowledging the white lining in that inquiry. He had wanted revenge. Pure and simple. For more than one matter.

Juushiro walked in, leaning on Nanao, and smiled as everyone turned to look at him. He gave the captains a small bow.
"I apologize for the shock and grief my 'death' caused everyone. Thank you for all your good wishes and for all the support you offered others after that terrible day. I'm honored for a second chance with you all."
He then moved to his seat but didn't get far before Sajin stood and lifted him up.
"Pregnant women shouldn't be carrying old heroes," said Sajin, aiding the Captain.
Juushiro chuckled. "Thank you, old friend."

Isane looked around the table at everyone seated. "Does it matter? Our greatest nemesis is gone and whoever did this we owe a debt of gratitude. We have tried to continue him, kill him, all at no avail. Now the deed is done and the only thing we have to deal with are his creations. Done properly and they can be destroyed as easy as any other hollow."
Hearing the door open to the room she looked across the room seeing the Commander walk in the room. She stood quickly and bowed. "Captain Commander..."

Kisuke nodded to the Captains that stood around the table or at least the ones that could stand. Stopping at the head of the table he took a breath and spoke. "I know you are all wondering about the news you heard, or, are probable writing off as rumor." His hand lifted as he removed his hat and dropped it to the table.
"Well..." he grinned madly. "Sorry to bust any or all bubbles, but it true. Aizen Sousuke is dead. His ashes and the shards of his zanpakuto are in my office. Sealed. His death came by a good source. Someone not all of you trust, but you can trust me when I say this person has been on our side since day one. Aizen's death is genuine. He won't be returning back from his death this time."
He paused looking to each and everyone at the table. "It's over. Aizen Sousuke is dead and Las Noches was turned to dust along with him."

Tsukiro tapped the table slightly, "Alright. So the bastard is finally dead. That leaves his creations and what is left of the army that he had."
He began to scratch his chin once again and then chuckled, gesturing to Isane, "Isane is right. They can be terminated just as easily as any other hollow if we deal with them the right way. Without underestimating them that is." The black haired male smirked and looked around, "And it won't be that hard since we don't have to deal with him anymore."

"That would be unwise." said Toshiro, lacing his fingers together as he propped his elbows up on the table. "Both the Espada and Ayakashi are reckless. And, without Aizen they will follow the lead of Vale Tervaden...A man far more chaotic than Aizen ever was. Unless, the rumors regarding Tervaden are true as well?"
Kisuke nodded. "They are. Both Aizen and Tervaden are dead. The hollow are without a head. I agree, they are dangerous and should be dispatched. However, I believe that they will scatter and no longer be a threat as a group."
"You prefer them to be threats as individuals?" questioned Toshiro.
"They would be far easier to deal with than as a group." answered Kisuke. "It was a group of Ayakashi and Espada, after all, that killed Tervaden."
Toshiro narrowed his eyes as he looked to the Captain Commander. "They turned on him?"

The doors to the meeting hall opened slowly as Kita slipped in between the small opening. All eyes tuned to her, there were a few grumbles and growls, but it did not stop her entrance.
"This is a Captain's meeting! You do not belong in here, Vessel!" Mayuri bellowed her direction.
She did not pay no mind to him as she continued forward toward Kisuke. When she stop next to him she looked to her oldest friend at the table, Toshiro. "To your question Captain Hitsugaya." She addressed him formally. "At the time Aizen tried to get me to believe it was him that ordered them to kill him, but after everything settled I was informed by Sumi that the Ayakashi took it upon themselves to do away with him."

"If what you say is true," said Ryo, rising to her feet so that she was seen. "What reason would they have? And, how could they? Last I gathered, Tervaden was much like yourself - he had the strength of a god. Not to mention, he was rumored to be one of these...Eva. He had more than enough strength to conquer them. And, yet...He didn't? You don't believe this to be a trick of some kind?" Ryo looked to the human woman, unmoved by the anger gathering on the woman's face.
"Chinmoku is an illusion based zanpakuto. As is Kyoka Suigetsu."

"Because they know how to work as a team unlike some of the Soul Reapers I know. If they would stop thinking they or their division is better or stronger than the ones fighting with them they might have been able to defeat Aizen centuries before now." Kita looked around the room at each and everyone sitting at the table.
"With all due respect, Kita." said Toshiro. "You know that isn't true. We work together. It may not be to your liking or even to what you're accustomed to. But, we do work together. Lady Captain Komamura works very closely with Captain Kurotsuchi. While Captain Ashimitsu co-Captains one division while leading another."
Kisuke raised a hand. "Enough. This is a point that doesn't need to be argued. The deaths of Sousuke Aizen and Vale Tervaden are what we've gathered to discuss...Among other things."
"Other thing?" grumbled Sajin. "Pardon me, Captain. But, what else is there?"
Kisuke adjusted his hat. "The return of both Gin Ichimaru and Shunsui Kyoraku." His eyes fell to Byakuya, who sat up slightly in his seat. "Neither are in any type of condition to be outside of their rooms or to have guests. So, leave them be, for now."
"You will also be dealing with less Hollow that inhabited Las Noches. I did away with not only many of the lesser Arrancar. I did away with Teroa, and Loki as well. Sada managed to slip away from me in the battle between Aizen and myself."
She looked to Kisuke as he nodded his head for her to continue. "Sumi recused all that were in Las Noches. The former Captain Commander, Gin Ichimaru, Raelin Fang and both my sons were delivered to the First Division's office before the fighting broke out and I destroyed not only Sousuke Aizen, but his dwellings and as many of his hollows I could."

Shinji shook his head slowly. "So this is a day of many, numerous surprises." He looked from Kotetsu back to the vessel. "No offense to your goddess, Kita Tervaden, but at least half of us witnessed the death of the former Commander on that unfortunate day." He looked to Kisuke. "How was that ruse engineered and where has he been?"

Kita giggled softly. "Have you forgotten who you stood against? Sada's, Naraku could make you believe the world had ended and you would not have second guessed it. His illusions were nearly as flawless as Aizen's, Kyoka Suigetsu." She looked around the room.
"Also, since Aizen is now dead. If there were any illusions cast by Kyoka Suigetsu after the rebellion," Kita paused for a second. "Only an educated guess on my behalf, but I believe if there were any cast they would be fading very soon with as strong as Aizen was. So you might want to brace yourself for oddities."

Toshiro shook his head as he looked to his old friend. He sighed heavily as his gaze shifted to the Captain Commander. "There is no way that we could possibly prepare for the effects of any illusion cast. We simply will not know until they begin to dissolve."
"Still," said Kisuke. "Prepare yourselves, as much as you can...For anything." Kisuke looked down the length of the table. "Captain Kurotsuchi, I need you devise a means to keep out the hollows...from their side."
Mayuri looked at Kisuke wide eyed. "You do realize we have no idea what vastness lies in Hueco Mundo. It has never been explored to that point. So what in the hell are you expecting of me? I may be a miracle worker, but a god I am not. There is no way to do this from their side."
Kisuke chuckled as he looked at Mayuri, "You are a man of many talents, Captain Kurotsuchi. Even with the vastness of the realm, I am sure you'll find a way."
Toshiro leaned back in his chair with a heavy sigh. "Sousuke Aizen is dead. Vale Tervaden is dead. Both the Captain Commander and Gin Ichimaru have risen from their graves." He leaned forward, looking down the table. "Your son has returned from the abyss. And, there is also rumor that we may be losing a Captain. What more could this day give?"

Kisuke looked Toshiro's way. "Did you say losing a Captain?" Kisuke looked at the ones sitting around the table. His as well as all the Captains in the room looked around the table at one another, Kisuke's eyes pausing on each one as he studied their faces. When he paused on Ryo he nodded his head nonchalantly.
"Were you going to inform me after the meeting or after you replaced yourself?"

Ryo looked to the Captain Commander after a quick nod. "I was going to seek an audience with you after the meeting. It breaks protocol to replace myself. I did, however, consider who could replace me. But, I don't think here is the appropriate place to address this." Ryo looked to Toshiro with narrowed eyes.
Kisuke nodded slowly then looked back out across the table. "Well does anyone have any more questions?" He waited for a moment for replies, when no one spoke up he looked to Kita and nodded as she turned and left the room. He turned back to the ones still seated. "Then this meeting is adjourned." He looked pointedly to Ryo once more. "Do you want to speak here or meet me to the First Division office?"
"Speaking here does not bother me." She reached to her right and gentle pat the hand of her husband as he rose from his seat. Ryo smiled as he walked away, following the rest of the Captains out of the hall. She sighed as he looked to the Captain Commander. "You are not the slightest bit surprised by this, are you?"
