Kisuke smiled and picked up his hat from the table top, his head nodding slowly. "Well yes and no. There have been some hard times between us and for yourself personally. Though, I also know you're a fighter and in time would get back on your feet. Once that happened I figured that things would settle and you would get back into the swing of thing."
His hand lifted as he rubbed his chin. "But," he grinned at her. "With a new little -- and I use that word loosely -- Komamura, on the way I had an idea it might take place."
The two shared a chuckle as Kisuke sat to the edge of the tabletop. "So who do you have in mind to replace you? I hope they're good because they are going to have some time trying to fill your shoes."

"It's a bit of a stretch," Ryo rose from her seat and walked toward the end of the table where the Captain Commander sat. "But, I believe that he is more than qualified, despite being removed from duty for quite some time. It is, after all, his former division."
"You mean, Kensei Murguruma?" questioned Kisuke. "Why him?"
"The obvious reason being, it is his former Division. The less obvious, is that he is a Vizord."
"We have a Vizord in our ranks." Kisuke stood from the edge of the table. "How is that a less obvious reason?"
"Because, you spoke of change when you first took the seat of Captain Commander. To me, that means adding a bit more diversity to the Gotei. Murguruma will be an excellent addition. He would be the second Vizord in the ranks."
"Are you going to suggest I start adding children to the ranks, next?"
Ryo chuckled. "No. But, now that Aizen is dead. You can see to it that we are not spread so thin. There is no reason for Captain Ashimitsu to lead two Division. Though, they are similar in purpose, a man spread so thin lacks efficiency. There is also the matter of Lieutenants growing complacent in their positions. But, I won't concern myself with any of that, right now. Do you approve of Murguruma?"

Kisuke hummed softly going into thought for a moment. His head nodded a few times as he pondered her replacement. Kensei Murguruma was an excellent Captain when he was in that division over a century ago. His members might be over joyed at his return. Though, there was the ones that had grown use to the way Ryo was running things. His thoughts ran deeper as he was in world of his own. Hearing the snap of fingers and they his name being called he looked to Ryo which was looking at him.
"So what do you think, Commander?" Ryo ask him.
His head nodded, "I think you got a winner, and as far as the lieutenants and wearing the Captain's thin. I had already considered that. Though, I need to get them into my office to speak to them. Everyone has been busy on guard duty, patrol or out searching for these men taking the girls for the last few weeks its been rather hard to get that done."

Ryo nodded as she ran a hand through her hair. "Well then, I will leave you to your duties." Her eyes narrowed slightly as she looked back to the Captain Commander. "Commander...I'll ask because no one else did...What happens now that Kyoraku has returned? We can't have two Captain Commanders. And, by tradition, you were never chosen by the Soul King. The title is still rightfully his. But, I don't see necessary change happening without...Well...Without you."
Kisuke rubbed his chin, "well... I will step down of course, but it's going to take some time before that happens. Commander Kyoraku was in a bad way when he was returned to us. Kita stabilized him when she returned, but that was all." He then patted her shoulder with a grin. "Don't worry. The Gotei will get its change, Ryo. I have more in motion then most are aware of."
"I don't suppose a former Captain would be privy to that information, would she?" questioned Ryo with a smile. "Not that...I would want to know..." Ryo turned her back to the Captain Commander. She fought back tears as she glanced over her shoulder. "That sounds so strange...Former Captain..." Ryo wiped away her tears as she turned to face the Commander again. "I'll leave you to your work."

"You know," Kisuke started and fell short then smirked madly. "We always need instructors at the Shino Academy to whip the students into shape. I am sure your combat abilities could set a fire under their backsides." He chuckled lightly. "As long as you leave your uniform on that is." Ryo chuckled. "Sounds like they need it. Tenshin tells me you've got quite a few arrogant little pricks trying to make a name for themselves. And, doing so rather poorly, as well." She wiped away the last of her tears. "I'll do it. But, you're the one who will have to answer to the Puppeh for dragging me out of retirement before I actually got there." Kisuke chuckled again. "I doubt he will mind this change of pace for you. You will be molding our future. We need more like you in the Academy." Kisuke shooed her off. "Go, go be with your family. Enjoy the peace we were granted." Ryo smiled as she turned and walked toward the doors. "Have a good day Commander." She disappeared from the room. Kisuke smiled as he to stepped toward the doors in the back of the room. To his surprise Kita walked in to greet him. His head cocked to the side in confusion, but at least she was smiling. "Something you want to talk about?" "I thought the two of us could go get our sons together." Kita replied."Huh?" Kisuke questioned scratching his head. Kita giggled softly. "Our sons took off together. Yumiko told me they went for a walk. I thought we could go looking for them.""Ahh," Kisuke replied nodding slowly. "Well then..." he offered his arm to Kita. "Shall we go." He watched Kita nod and walk toward him, taking his arm as he lead the two of them from the room and the building to find their boys. --END RP-- "The Tiger and the Dragon":

Post by Commander Shunsui Kyoraku on Jan 28, 2023 19:56:05 GMT -6
Bleach Unrated: REBOOTEDCurrent Arc: Deep RenewalEpisode 324 "Testing the Waters": Commander Shunsui Kyoraku set a hand over Yama-jii’s chair, adjusting his new hat as he considered the new day. Three days had passed since the gods had seen fit to end the victory of Las Noches, sending everyone home battered and bruised. Three days of slowly putting the pieces that remained back together, both those that had been tortured in Las Noches or in the final climax and those that had been left behind to despair. The commander had held a brief meeting that evening to control the masses and got a brief summary of the truth from Kisuke —of course he had the answers to the juggle of everyone around — but that was all they accomplished then. There was too much to be done, too much healing and recovering, to discuss it all at that time. Now, he couldn’t delay the inevitable any longer. Three days was long enough for people to start coming up with their own answers to the hell they’d be thrust into, and soon enough, they’d be clamoring for their own brand of justice, one that always leaned more towards vengeance. He needed to get ahead of the wave of violence if he could. The Gotei needed to make a stand or take a fall for the failings. Hopefully, the path would become clearer with them all gathered, the captains and their guests from Karakura. He'd let the shopkeeper decide if he wanted to bring anyone else. It was his bastion. Releasing one sigh, he released the hell butterflies and walked out again, looking for a fortifying drink beforehand.

Sajin looked down, having felt someone walk into him. He gave a toothy grin finding the Captain Commander adjusting his hat and haori. "Commander Kyoraku." Sajin brought his fists together and bowed to his Commander. Kyoraku gave a nod and kept on his path. Sajin hummed lowly as he folded his arms over his chest.
"Do you think that has anything to do with Urahara's announcement?"
Ryo adjusted her haori as it lay draped over her shoulders. "It undoubtedly has everything to do with that, Captain."
Sajin laid a hand to his wife's shoulder. "If you need me..."
Ryo gave a nod and a smile as she patted the hand of her husband. "There is little space between us. I know, Puppy. I'll be okay."
"Alright." Sajin let his hand fall from Ryo's shoulder as she walked into the meeting hall. He looked toward the path Kyoraku had taken to find he hadn't gone far. They shared a glance and nod before Sajin took his place among his fellow Captains.

Kenji walked into the Captain's hall. He was nervous and completely unsure of how much it showed. He shuffled in, head down and silent. Once in the position he believed he should be, he looked up finding himself standing next to the Lady Captain Komamura. "Oh...Hello..."
Ryo smiled. "Hello, Urahara." She urged him to come closer with a beckoning finger. "Odd numbered divisions here." She pointed to where the were standing before pointing to the other side of the room.
Kenji turned his head, looking across the room. "Even over there..." His head hung with a chuckle. "Got it." Kenji nodded in thanks.
"You're among family, Urahara." Ryo smiled and adjusted the haori draped over her shoulders. "Relax."
Kenji, again, gave a smile and nod. He walked to the other side of the room and waited patiently for the meeting to begin.

Post by Captain Isane Kotetsu on Feb 2, 2023 19:57:56 GMT -6
Isane walked into the assembly hall looking around at the others that had already joined. All that were there wore different expressions of emotions. Ryo looked a touched worried but happy none-the-less. Sajin--she smiled brightly at him when he gave her a glance--never looked happier, and poor Kenji, why he was there she did not know, and in Toshiro's spot, he looked so confused. Toshiro had left the medical ward hours ago, so why would Toshiro have Kenji standing in for him?
She stepped up to the right side of the Commander's seat in the front of the room. She felt singled out. There was not Second Division Captain and Sixth Divisions' Captain, Byakuya Kuchiki had yet to show.
She sighed looking down at her feet. She was exhausted from dealing with all the injured. Sure she had help, but that was still more wounded then she had ever had to deal with. She just wanted to sit in a hot tub and relax. She hoped this would not take long.

Post by Captain Shinji Hirako on Feb 2, 2023 22:38:42 GMT -6
Captain Hirako entered next, eyes still partially golden and his sneer even more noticeable with the new scars on his face. The rage in his eyes hadn't faded yet, and the scars made him even more formidable for the remnants of his division. The monster, Sada Teruo, had finally left his mark on him. Being half hollow already ate at the little that remained of his temper on a daily basis. But after dealing with the last effects of exposure to that infernal poison and fixing the sorry state of his division, he barely had enough to keep from insulting everyone around him. An ill-tempered, nitpicking drill master, he wanted to hit something until it didn't get up, and the atmosphere around them only fed into his violent urges. Taking his place, he stuffed a new gumball into his mouth. He needed more jawbreakers from the shopkeeper's shop after this.

Post by Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya on Feb 2, 2023 22:46:11 GMT -6
Toshiro Hitsugaya walked into the assembly hall dressed in his black shihakusho uniform. His captain's haori was neatly folded with the Tenth Division insignia facing out and carried between his chest and his arms folded into his sleeves. He glanced up, dragging his gaze from the floor up to those who had already arrived. It was only Komamura and his wife, Kenji, Hirako, and Kotetsu, but all five of them were looking at him. Kotetsu with a confused look, Kenji appearing worried, and the others with indistinguishable looks.
Toshiro took a deep breath and let it out as a heavy sigh. He stepped forward and moved to stand next to Kenji. Unsure of what to say, he said nothing, closing his eyes and lowering his head. He was sure there would be questions from his colleagues.

Post by Captain Byakuya Kuchiki on Feb 2, 2023 23:17:16 GMT -6
Captain Kuchiki entered with his usual quiet grace, hands behind his back. He'd spent most of the last three days away from the comfort and order of his division, arms deep in assisting Kotetsu with the wounded sent to the Fourth Division. In the evening, he returned to his office and debriefed his lieutenant and officers on their actions and orders in his name, leaving both himself and his officers without a long sleep before it started over the next day. The grueling process wasn't uncommon during times of unrest with his division, even without his leading presence, and so far, Abarai reported little descent. It was a start.
He strode to his position at the meeting, glancing around at the hall. It seemed he wasn't the only one to arrive in less than a timely manner with all that was occurring around them, the announcement outside included. He closed his eyes to wait. There would be enough to say when the time was right.

Post by Captain Kenpachi Zaraki on Feb 2, 2023 23:27:52 GMT -6
"What's with all this boring silence?" Kenpachi called out as he entered, sword over one shoulder and his haori draped over the other. He was still covered in sweat. Three days wasn't enough to repair much at his division or replace all their missing personnel. But there was still enough time for a brawl or two to let out all that steam. Just enough to keep him and his buddies from going stir crazy.
Captain Kotetsu looked to him and he laughed. "No one's bleeding too much, woman. There's too much to do for anyone to be breaking bones."
Yet.
When he had his division back, he made no promises.
Looking around at everyone, he tilted his head at the new face. "New captain already?" His look then moved to the shortest captain. "Oi, Hitsugaya, what's with the long face?"

Post by Captain Tsukiro Ashimitsu on Feb 2, 2023 23:44:49 GMT -6
"What do you mean?" Tsukiro walked into the hall just after Kenpachi. He gave a small grin at Toshiro. "He always looks like that. It's his default expression." When Toshiro tossed him a pointed glare, Tsukiro grimaced and rubbed his shoulder, looking away from the boy captain. "Except for when he looks like that."
He wasn't sure what was up with Toshiro, but something was definitely eating at him. He looked back over at Toshiro, noticing he wasn't wearing his haori and... Kenji was standing next to him. Tsukiro blinked, questions popping in his head like bubbles. He hummed quietly to himself.
I'm guessing it's nothing good. I just hope he's not quitting. But why is Kenji here? Did Kisuke drag him here?
Tsukiro stepped forward and took his place between Byakuya and Kenji.

Post by Captain Nori Mutsu on Feb 3, 2023 2:03:15 GMT -6
Captain Mutsu from division three stepped into the room, she, like most of the others in the room, was exhausted. She was glad she had Izuru as her lieutenant or she would have been twice as exhausted. Like all the others. Her division was in shambles, the loss of her squad members was devastating.
She looked to Ryo and nodded with a small tired smile. She could see Ryo was happy to be back with her family, as she should be. She took her place and looked up the row of captains across from her. Captain Hitsugaya was in his spot but with the Urahara boy and his haori folded and holding it in his arms.
Other then the announcement Kisuke Urahara made, it seems there was going to be another announcement to shake some things up.
