"The Vessel's and Seraph's Separate Gifts":
Vale walked the halls, dragging his feet as he went. He took his time going back to his room. That woman! He drove his fist through the wall closest to him, losing his arm in the wall up to his elbow. "That damn woman!" He pulled his arm out of the wall, and continued his walk to his room. When he arrived at the entrance to his room, he slammed his back on the door. He let his body slide down the door until he sat on the floor. He closed his eyes, allowing his body to relax. But, that was short lived as he heard the gentle patter of footsteps coming towards him.

As Kita rounded the corner she saw Vale leaning against his door in the hall. She shook her head and kept walking paying him no mind. Master was right when he explained to her how some people can be and Vale was one of them.
"Some people, no matter what their sole reflects-- are so damaged on the surface their soul is sealed from their grasp. Thus making them unsocial assholes."
Kita giggled softly as what he told her flashed through her mind again. She continued on her path as his eyes followed and watched her draw closer.

He watched Kita as she walked towards him. Damn woman, he mumbled to himself. "Don't you come to bother me!" he shouted at her.

Kita gritted her teeth her hands tightened at her sides as she neared him. "So this is where Aizen keeps the Assholes caged up. Should have figured. Nnoitra stays in this tower as does Grimmjow. So its fitting for you to be here as well."
She brushed past him as he growled and stood up as she walked past him.
"Was it not in our last conversation, that you called me a gentleman?"
Kita turned to look at him her eyes narrowed as she looked at him. "A girl can change her mind. It's her right to do so as a woman." Kita thought to herself. "Where did that come from? She had heard it somewhere before, but where?"

Vale shook his head, smiling slightly. "You are a curious woman, Kita Miyamoto. A curious woman, indeed." He sat up against the door. "To what do I owe this visit?" he asked, turning up his eye patch. "One would think, after our last meeting, I would be one of the last people you would want to converse with."

Kita looked at him eyes still narrowed. "Fine. You want to play twenty questions. We'll play." She stepped toward him. "Why did you attack me? What did I do to provoke you to harm me? Is everyone here just assholes and bitches besides me?"He motioned for her to come closer. She shook her head refusing. Vale shook his head. "You did nothing to provoke me. I prefer silence and solitude. You...You are neither of those things." He stood, turned and entered his room leaving the door open for her to follow. She sighed and stepped into his room closing the door behind her.

"Choosing a Devil": (Continued) Yumiko glared at the door, arms around herself. “I should have known there was nothing different between Aizen and yourself,” she muttered aloud. She looked at the long hallway and then back at the door. She had wondered if she could escape someone by sleeping with someone else.... She closed her eyes. No, she wouldn’t go back to Vale. Not now. “Kyokko,” she whispered wrapping the light spell of concealment around herself. She buried her reiatsu, too. Invisible, she took a breath. “I just need to be careful, but I can do this.” She took a step forward. She got a few feet down the hall before she fell to her knees, trembling from what he had started, the memories of what had nearly happened the last time she had been naked out in the halls, and recalling the tell-tale marks of severe pain on Kita. She closed her eyes and breathed. “Just take my time,” she whispered. “I’ll be alright.”

"It is fair to say he is an idiot, yes?" Koga asked, walking up behind Yumiko and draping his jacket over her shoulders. "But, honestly Yumiko, you weren't expecting him to be any different than anyone here."
"I had hoped..." she whispered.
"Hope is a wonderfully foolish thing." Koga's lavender eyes gleamed in the dim light of the hallway. He quickened his pace and turned in front of her. "He was waiting for you to return. Which I suggest you do. I will not protect you from anything here, Yumiko. And, beyond covering you, I would rather not touch you."

Yumiko wrapped the jacket around herself and looked away. “I can manage out here …..” she started but the espada cut her off. “Maybe the goddess will protect you once if you do continue on your foolish walk, but you - and she - will only be delaying the inevitable. You will be Vale Tervaden’s, and I don’t need to tell you one of the main reasons for that happening.” Yumiko flinched, knowing that he was referring to her wish to distance herself from the effect of Aizen’s attentions. She glanced in that direction and then back dow the long hallway. She took a step forward and then stopped, turning around to espada again. She couldn't help but ask one thing. “Will I be as trapped as I am now?” Koga’s lavender eyes regarded her quietly. “That will be a choice in your hands, Hime.” He turned around again and started to lead the way back down the hallway.
Yumiko hesitated and then followed. In the end, she couldn't run away from Vale like this. She had to face him. Moved

"Shards of Violet": (Continued) Koga shifted silently between the shadows of the hallway, his pale violet eyes focused on Tervaden. With his arms crossed behind his back, he made his way behind Tervaden and stood in the shadow cast by an open door.
"How strange your heart must be. Yearning for the touch and love of someone you've stolen so much from."Tervaden stirred from his dream. "I don't have time for your riddles." he whispered. Koga shook his head. "It wasn't a riddle, Master Tervaden. I can give you one, and a warning, if you'd like."

"A warning?" questioned Vale. "Spare me the riddle, then." Glancing over his shoulder, Vale caught the shimmer of Koga's eyes. He rested a hand on the hilt of Chinmoku as he turned to face the Espada. Sighing, he leaned against the wall, eyes still focused on Koga.
"Speak now. Or, forever hold your piece, Koga."

Koga smiled, stepping from the shadows. "Three then more. Afterwards, a King reigns. Decades of supremacy."
"Is that the riddle or the warning?" questioned Vale, stepping toward Koga.
"Shards of violet, shimmering in the dark. Lost and unobtainable. Markings glow with rage and power not his own but his. Trial by fire. Lose by deception. First strike against blood. "
Vale titled his head. "Koga...What have you seen?"
"Save them. She must save them." The Espada started pacing the marble floor, muttering to himself. "Save some. But, not them all. She'll lose herself in the process. Her disdain for humanity." Koga looked to Tervaden, wide eyed. "She will bring the realms to their knees. And, you..." He raised a hand pointing to Tervaden. "You...Dragons of the sands..."
The Espada quickly disappeared from the halls, his voice still echoing on the air.

Vale looked around, eyes narrowed in anger. "Shit." He turned back toward the window. Looking out over the sands, he sighed. He mumbled bits of Koga's riddle.
"Damn you, Koga!" he shouted, slamming his fist into the marble wall. He pulled his hand from the marble and shook off the dust. "Curiosity killed the cat, you know."

"And, here I thought that Curiosity was that cat." The god smirked, the orange of his flame illuminating the hall.
"So, you're going to kill yourself?" asked Vale. "Hurry up with that."
The god tilted his head slightly, as he furrowed his brow and his smile grew wide. "It strikes me as odd that you listen to the tales of an Espada. Have you forgotten how to think on your own, as you've forgotten how to rely on your strength?"

Vale shook his head. "No. I haven't. It's just...odd, I guess." He looked down at his shaking hands. "All this fuss and pep talk over nothing. I am still the same bastard asshole, I was before." Vale slammed his open hand down on the windowsill. "So! To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit, oh god of bitch assness?"
Grinning, Vale looked to Alister. "Well? Come to renege on something else?"
