Yukio smirked at the captain and decided to step slightly closer, a smirk across his face, "Captain Shinji Hirako. I, Yukio Mori, future head of my family and man that is trained by the Masanobu clan in assassination and stealth... As well as the future Captain of Division Two once Tsukiro Perishes," His tone grew stern as his eyes narrowed at him, "I will not let this rest. I am a trained assassin. More trained than YOUR Stealth Force. I dare anyone to try and stop me while I am in pursuit of these assholes."
He looked at Riku, then at Makino, then decided to hold his hand up as Shinji tried to talk, "I am in no position to order you around. But it would be wise of you to turn your happy, grinny ass around. And let us talk. Otherwise I'll be sitting in prison for a long time while the Gotei decided to investigate me... And not the girls that have gone missing," He grinned widely and offered his hand to the captain, "Now. What exactly did you tell us to do, Captain?"

Makino gawked with open mouth at Yukio, blinking numerous times as she stood there flabbergasted at what he said to the Captain. She was actually rather shocked that he was still standing in front of the Captain with his hand extended to him. Suddenly Makino snapped out of her shocked phase and an angered, and appalled looked blanked her features.
"You arrogant little pig!!" She called him as her fist connected with his jaw spinning him in place. Before he turned completely around Makino sweep his feet with her crutch as he landed on his backside on the floor. She hobbled over to him and grabbed the front of his jacket and jerked him forward slightly getting them face to face.
"You are a member of the Mori Clan and connected to the Masanobu Clan! You will not disgrace our clan or even your own with your blatant arrogance in dishonoring a highly decorated officer of the Gotei 13." She shoved him back to his place on the floor and stood over him as she pointed firmly at the Captain.
"You will apologize to Captain Hirako here and now! If you don't! I will finish kicking your ass right here in front of him! Injured or not! Now apologize!!" She barked at him.

"U-um. Maki-chan? Calm down," Riku held his hands out to Makino, trying to urge her back into bed. "You're going to wake up every patient in the hospital. And maybe scolding him can wait until another time. You know. When it's not in the middle of the night and we don't have a bloodthirsty shark staring us down."
He couldn't entirely disagree with Makino's anger. He was pretty pissed at Yukio's jab at his future captain--their future captain. He would never let him forget those words, but right now he had to calm Makino down.

Yukio rose quietly, his head lowered as he dusted his jacket, "Who in the fuck do you think you are saying that what I am saying and doing is dishonorable to that clan? I said what I said because I believe in it," He slowly raised his head to make eye contact with the girl that had hit him, "You ever lay a fucking hand on me again. And those injuries you have on you now are going to be the least of your issues."
He barred his teeth slightly and pushed Riku aside as he get closer to the girl on crutches, "The Mori family may have close ties with your clan. But think of it this way. What I had said would only pin it on ME. Because I BELIEVE that I can get into that spot. What I have said is only something for me to prove. For me to shoot for," He growled loudly and looked at Makino closer, "You are fucking getting on to me for being this way. For saying that this clan is stronger. Better than most of the Gotei. You get on to me for doing this."
The student laughed as he pushed Makino to the bed harshly and turned to look out the window, "Then I suppose you're right. We aren't better. We aren't stronger," He shook his head, "If the crown jewel of the clan is saying it. Then I suppose we aren't. Guess Yuudai died for absolutely nothing." he got extremely quiet after saying those words, though he grinned as he looked out the window, "Allow me or not. But I'm searching for those girls...."

Before Makino could get back up and reply, Yukio was punched in the face hard enough for blood to spill. He fell backwards towards the window, and Shinji pursued him, punching him again. This time in the gut. Then, he wrenched him upwards by the collar of his jacket. “I don’t need prison to deal with little shits like you!” the hybrid snarled.
“If you really care for the girls so much, then you won’t go around beating other ones for teaching you some respect. Especially if she’s supposed to be your sister, or some such thing. That’s gross and rude and will get you nowhere fast.” He tossed him down to the ground and set his blade on his collarbone . “That goes double for speaking like that of the dead. You’d be wasted material the first day of a grilling mission. And I don’t care if your pride was hurt. What you did there was childish and spiteful. Only meant for one purpose.” He scoffed. "And you say you're captain's material."
He spun around, setting his blade on his shoulder, and looked to Riku. “Oi, boy!”
Riku straightened and gulped. “Ye- yes sir?”
“Division Two isn’t for those who think a little growling is intimidating or for those who think their prerequisite skills are all it takes to get to the top. Am I correct?”
Riku nodded and spoke clearly. "No of course not."
"But you think you brats are worth wasting time on in such an instance where time is of the essence?"

Riku bowed his head in thought, thinking the captain's words through. He could see the shark captain's point, but he still thought they deserved a chance. He looked back up at Captain Hirako with a stern look. "I think that as Soul Reapers in the making, we 'brats' deserve a chance to prove ourselves in situations like these. If we don't learn now, we will continue to be dead weight when we eventually enter our preferred Divisions."
He sighed and shook his head. "As a Soul Reaper who will also be part of the Stealth Force, I'm sure this will not be the last incident I will see like this. I believe it will be more beneficial for people like me and Yukio--despite his attitude and arrogance--to be a part of the search for the experience. But not just because we are students. Because we are students who have excelled in our chosen areas of study. If you decide that we are a waste of your time and a burden, please do so after we have been given a chance. No one deserves to be labeled dead weight before they've had a fair chance to prove themselves otherwise with minimal risk to the outcomes."
He bowed to the captain for the third time. "I cannot speak for Yukio, but as for myself, I would like a chance to prove my worth in this matter. And after I have proven one side or the other, I will gladly accept judgment concerning my current skills and abilities."

Yukio stood once again and smirked at the captain, "That blade of yours would be made so much more useful if you weren't trying to actually scare me, a poor teenager with an attitude." His eyes were blank as he stared at the captain, "This isn't your business anymore. You aren't studying this case, you are just keeping an eye on a female that is valuable to both parts, look at your role and then look at the role that the students could have."
He smiled at the captain brightly and wiped his mouth, "We have a better position than you."

The shark-faced captain smirked. “Shows what you know about my job, jackass.”
He flipped the blonde noble back onto his back with a kido whip and faced the other boy.
“At least you have pretty good bravado for a pretty boy,” he muttered. He pointed to the muttering Yukio. “Well then, pick up the mule and your blade and say goodbye to sleeping beauty. She’s going back to sleep. I’m not dealing with her limping forever.” He grinned nastily. “She’s dead weight, and no hopeful for my division is going to stay that way for long. Back in bed, Parrot!”
Before she could reply, Shinji prodded Riku with his blade again. “You, on the other hand, and the jackass are going to be put to work right this minute at this hour for someone who rarely sleeps at this time. And I look forward to seeing you eat your words.” He paused. “Or make a difference. If that’s possible. You follow his orders to a T or,” he grinned wider still, “he’s got his own punishments for insubordination.”
He poked his head out and whistled like a bird, and a moment later, Suzume had alighted on the window. “Get me paper and pen. I have marching orders to write.” She nodded and pulled them out of a pocket in her uniform.
Eyes narrowing, he took them from her and penned the letter. He then handed the order to Suzume. “There. Tell him fresh arrogant meat who demand to help. Put them through the paces. They, at least, claim to be familiar with the place."
Suzume nodded and Shinji looked over them both, waiting for his orders to be obeyed.

"Wait!" Makino called out to them as they stood by the window. All eyes turned and looked to her. "I want to go. They can use me as bait."
Shinji ground his teeth, eyes whirling with ill-concealed fury. “Get. back. in bed. Parakeet, or I will make. certain that you sta-"
"Those men want me." She barked cutting him off. "With me out there its a sure capture on at least one of them. From there they can be questioned and their hideout found."

Riku blinked in confusion at the captain's words. "I have no qualms with being put to work, but... I wasn't really demanding nor was I arrogant. If anyone was demanding and arrogant it was Yukio."
He scratched the back of his head, beginning to realize it was useless to argue with someone who had already made up their mind. Espeically someone like the shark captain. He sighed and shook his head, not bothering to waste any more breath on trying to prove himself to someone who didn't believe in him.
"In any case, Maki-chan, I have to partly agree with Captain Hirako. You are strong, no doubt, but a lot of things could go wrong. And I can think of several people who would not at all like you using yourself as bait. Myself included."

Makino looked to Riku with his statement. "What do you mean things might go wrong? Of course they could, but don't you have faith in yourself, in the Gotei? Do you not believe you can get to this guy before he can run off with me? Or did you forget there is not one student that can top my kido? And I doubt these thugs know a lick of kido."
She looked to the Captain. "I may not be able to walk or run at this moment, but I was taught by my mother how to fuse a kido spell to a broken bone to make it to were I could defend myself if needed. It can only be done once, and only last for a few minutes, but I am not defenseless. Not in the lest. I can help catch these jerks. I am not afraid to put myself out there to save these girls they captured, and I trust the members of the Gotei to protect me and not let anything happen. I know we can catch these guys if we use the right bait to do it." She paused.
"And sorry to say. I am the right bait since they have targeted me."

Shinji growled, a tick on his forehead bulging, and seized the damned girl’s arm. “You are going back to bed, Parrot Masanobu, and if I have to drug you to keep you there before you’re healed, I will and the Sakura Princess will thank me!”
Makino blinked. “Sakura princ-” She shook her head and attempted to pull her arm free. “You may not like it, Captain, but I am the perfect bait to get this done swiftly and it’s my choice to risk myself. Besides, if I believe in the Gotei, my family, and friends, it’s not that big of a-”
Shinji cut her off with a pronounced insulting hiss.
“Flattery will get you nowhere,Your Nobleness. And if you think it’s safe to pull this off, you’re a bigger idiot than this damn mule with an overgrown mane and the pretty boy with stars for brains, Parrakeet! Follow my orders or there will consequences!”
This damned kids were driving him nuts with their one track minds. And it was WAY too early to deal with it!!

Suzume winced as her captain’s ire skyrocketed with the stubborn situation placed before him, and though she found part of it highly amusing – it took a lot to get under Captain Hirako’s skin and turn him into a rabid dog – this was not the time or place for such theatrics. Or the distractions. She stepped forward to intervene.
For the sake of anyone still asleep in the Fourth Division and her ringing ears.
But before she could speak, the door opened and another person entered the room.
“Hirako-san, please calm down.”
“What the hell are you doing out of bed?”
Captain Ukitake raised his hand. “I am a light sleeper due to my past illness, but I am capable of returning there without an escort. Please leave the rest of this to me and return to your guard duty.”
Suzume giggled beneath her breath as her captain scoffed and pointed his blade at the older captain. His next words made too much sense.
“I’ll stay nearby and make sure you actually follow through. I can do my job from any position.” He yanked one boy out of the way and perched in the window, glaring at the lot.
Then came the bark. “Sparrow, why are you standing around still? Get back to work!”
Suzume merely bowed, used to him changing his orders. “It was good to see you, Ukitake-Taichou.” He nodded and her demon captain growled. She exited and closed the door. Her captain also left.

Juushiro took a seat at the extra bed and Makino turned to him. “Captain, I know it’s dangerous, but this is important.”
He raised his hand again. “You three need to listen to me, especially you, Makino.” She nodded and sat down. “I know you want to help, but there are multiple reasons why you cannot. Yes, these cruel men are targeting you and probably would come out of their hideout to take you, but there are too many things that could go wrong if you were a part of this operation. And it’s because of who you are.”
He paused and looked to the boys, chuckling slightly at the blonde. “I may not be familiar with you, young Mori, but your attitude is a blessing and a curse. It reminds me of an old friend many decades ago. But you need to learn when to use it and when to choose your words better befor it become less of an obstruction. Especially if you wish to assist in missions or get in a high place like second division. Antagonizing a senior captain to get your way is not an advisable method.”
He turned back to Makino who had been considering his words and her eyes were sad. He set his hand over hers. “The organization that may have taken your friends is a criminal organization. If they succeeded in taking you, even for a little while, it could take time to make any one of them to cooperate. And any harm to you could jeopardize the health of Byakuya and Saya-san. They are stable, but emotional states play a big role in a recovery such as this when we don’t have any of our miracle workers to aid their bodies.” He kissed her forehead and embraced her. “Then, there’s Aizen. He already has his eye on you. He could take advantage of this as well. At this time, please rest and wait.”
He looked over to Riku. “You handled yourself rather well in this situation, but if you are going to get involved in this, you need to remember the danger to yourself and your connection to others as well. Do not go in there hoping to be a hero. And do not act alone."
He paused. "You both may be talented, but there is always more to learn. And this is not the ideal time to teach you more. Be mindful."

Riku shook his head. "I'm anything but a hero. I know my place. There's no way I could hope to accomplish anything by charging in on my own. But with my skills, I hope I could at least be helpful in some way. I only want to be helpful and gain experience from this. This affects many of my friends and in some ways me as well. I have no desire to display any sort of heroics."
