“I tried,” Sojiro muttered. His father pushed the healer aside and stumbled to his feet, still bleeding deeply. Sojiro turned from the blood, gritting his teeth as certain memories rose up. He faced Kisuke. “I TRIED to stop time around him. He pushed back. I don’t know how. Maybe because I used it on him before. Or he’s part God. But when the air didn’t shift around him — and I saw the blood — I panicked. And I attacked.”
He lowered his head. “I forgot Dad was immortal.” Clenching his hands, Sojiro looked back at his grandfather. “I won’t go for Mom until you have a plan.”

Before Kisuke could form a response to his son, Gin had started saying his own piece. “You can tell him what to do, but I am not a member of the Gotei or strictly on your team. If I want to find her I will,” he snapped. “The bastard all but dared me to go back there, too. He wants me back there.”
Kisuke turned to Gin with narrowed eyes. “And I’m serious about the prison. If I have to lose a limb or two to put you there, I will.”
“Dad…”
“This is MY fault!” Gin snarled. “It’s MY place to fix it!”

Kisuke grabbed handfuls of Gin's kimono and jerked him forward with narrowed eyes. "He is playing you! If you go there he will kill you flat out. I can't help you or Kita if you go getting yourself killed. She may believe the bullshit you fed her about not loving her, but she still loves you. Do you know what it would do to her if you went and got yourself killed?" He shoved Gin back adjusting his hat.
"And if he is right about Kita, which I am sure he is." He looked between the both of them. "And he can talk her into killing you. We might as well kiss her goodbye. Because she will surly surrender not just her heart to the darkness but her soul as well."
"But how could he know this?" Sojiro intervened.
"Koga? The books he took from the archives? I don't know, but he knows. And no matter how he found out, he knows something about her she don't even know. If he can teach her how to control that power and use it against others to come to his side," he paused and looked to them both once more. "Do you realize how his army will grow?"

As his son’s eyes widened, Gin growled deep in his throat. “I will not wait long, shopkeeper. It’s one thing not to chase her because she decided to fall for another, but I won’t just wait when she’s in the hands of that bastard.” He turned away. “I don’t care if I am put in another world of hurt. I will NOT let him win with her.”
“You’ll wait until I say, or I will be the one to put you in a world of hurt,” Kisuke muttered, adjusting his hat to look at the back of the Fox. “Where are you going now?”
“I am going to find Tetsuya. I don’t like how he vanished.” He paused. “And I feel like hunting. Maybe your neighborhood thugs will show their faces with this commotion.”
"Dad?" Gin paused as his son called out to him. "Be careful, and please don't just rush in."
Gin gritted his teeth. If it was anyone else, he'd tell him to shut up, but he had already confessed to Sojiro, and the damned shopkeeper knew everything. Even when he tried to change his attitude to disguise the truth. "I wasn't going to go after her blindly. I needed to hit someone, and Aizen was the perfect target. And ... that exchange wasn't serious, no matter how it appeared."
Gin vanished, not giving the shopkeeper one moment to taunt him in public.

Kisuke sighed as the fox disappeared, his attention going back to Sojiro. "I want you to return to the acade--"
"But--"
"No buts!" Kisuke growled at him with narrowed eyes. "Go back to the academy. Keep a clear head and do not go after your mother no matter how bad the urge gets." He turned from Sojiro adjusting his hat. "If it gets that bad go find your girlfriend and make out with her, knock sandals. I don't care, but get your mind off of it and stay out of Las Noches until further notice."
"But what if he comes back?" Sojiro asked.
Kisuke shook his head. "He is not coming back. Not any time real soon. He got what he wanted. Aizen is content for now. I doubt we will see him for some time. It will be Vale or your mother we will be seeing next. IF, Aizen can tame her." He paused as he started to walk away. "Now go. I got other things to deal with along with this new mess."

Sojiro sighed and turned away. “Seto said he’d stay here — that he was happy here. He wouldn’t become Vale again just because I lost her…” His voice trailed away as he thought about the wide-eyed look in Kadaj’s eyes when he had left his baby brother with Yoruichi.
“Hey,” Sojiro looked back towards Kisuke who had paused on the steps. “We already talked about this. It’s not your fault. And if you continue thinking it is, I will find another slot for training sessions. Is that clear?” He started up the steps again. “There’s enough blame going around. If you start, too, I will kill it by not giving you enough time to even think!” Sojiro, in spite of the worry for his family, chuckled. “I understand, Uncle. I’ll wait and I’ll believe. Mom’s been through so much. She has to be able to get through this.” He reached for his pendant before recalling that it wasn’t there.
But for a very good reason.
He looked at his uncle’s profile for a moment longer and then took off in a burst of shunpo, pushing himself to a new speed to keep his head clear. He still had family. He had to remember that. He had to remember that he was not alone. And would never be so. - END RP -

"Miss":Vale appeared on First Division grounds, his zanpakuto unsheathed. He looked to Alister, who stood by his side. Turning slightly while looking down, he looked to Kadaj who was clinging to his side. "Do you remember where you send the bad men, Little Dragon?" "All da way over 'der!" yelled Kadaj, throwing his hands in the air. "'Dat's where I'maru was an' birdy an' Tada!"Vale nodded. "I want you to send someone there for me." "A bad person?!" shouted Kadaj.Vale nodded, again. "When you see him, you'll be happy. And, excited. But, he's the bad guy, remember. If he stops time for you, what do you do?" "I fis' it!""Very good." "Bu', who is da bad person?" Just as Kadaj looked away from his father, he smiled wide and threw his arms in the air. "Toji!"

Sojiro smiled and kneeled down as Kadaj ran to him, hugging his little brother tightly and lifting him up into his arms. “I missed you, Daj,” he murmured. “I really did.” Daichi, on his shoulder, chittered in his ear about Alister’s presence, but he’d already seen both Vale and Alister, but for some reason, he didn’t believe that he was in danger. And if he was, it was more important to hold his little brother.
He looked up as Kadaj clung to him with a silly grin of delight. “Thanks for bringing him, Seto.”

Vale closed his eyes and sighed. "Bad man." Quickly, Kadaj pushed away from Sojiro. He watched as he gently set his mother to the ground.
"Daj?" he questioned as Kadaj placed his tiny hands to his chest.
"Why you bad?!" groaned Kadaj as Sojiro shook his head. "I not like bad! Bad is bad!" Suddenly, Sojiro disappeared.
"Good, Little Dragon." he said, walking over to Kita. Without looking up, Vale began to laugh. "Let us be, Kisuke. She's made her choice." He looked to Alister who had walked over to his side. The god knelt beside Kita and picked her up. "And, you know that she's far too stubborn to change her mind." The god disappeared from his side with Kita, as Vale turned to face the temporary Captain Commander. He mutter something to himself.

"Take her I don't care. She is your wife, and when she finally comes to her senses she will return to where she belongs." he looked to Kadaj then back to Vale. "But you will bring the boy back, or you will not walk out of here alive."
He grinned maniacally at Vale. "You do understand that, right?"

"Then, I suppose that you should try killing me because I don't know where he sends them. And, I do believe the trip is one way." Vale returned Kisuke's smile with his own. "If you want to know where he is, just ask Gin. Oh wait. I forgot...He's gone too."
Kisuke chuckled along with Vale. When he looked back to him for looking at his son a right hook caught Vale in the jaw causing him to stumble back a few steps. Kisuke quickly grabbed his jacket front and jerked him forward, putting them face to face. "Do what you want with Kita, but you leave the boy alone or you deal with me and his mother. Bring him back or Kita will be returning for your copse and her youngest son. This is your last warning Tervaden."
"Oh..." grinned Vale. "What hold do you think you have on my wife?" Vale punched Kisuke in the chest, causing him to let Vale go and stumbled back. "Let's not do this. I can't bring him back. And, neither can Kadaj. He is safe, though. I believe he's somewhere in Las Noches." Alister reappeared by Vale's side, his arm folded over his chest. Vale a quick glance over to Kadaj. Suddenly, he disappeared.
"He is safe, Shinigami." said the god, raising a hand. "He is with his mother."
Vale chuckled. "You know, Kisuke, you should be nicer to me. We are a new breed of people. I am the father of your grandchildren. Would you really take that from Kita?"

Post by Captain Juushiro Ukitake on Apr 20, 2017 13:02:40 GMT -6
Juushiro and Yumiko appeared behind Vale and Alister, having locked onto Sojiro’s energy once more from the fields a moment before he vanished. Yumiko remained silent, standing closely to her father figure, but the captain, having heard the tail-end of the confrontation, did not.
“If you had remained in Soul Society and protected your family as your marriage vows ask,” Juushiro murmured, “then there would be no reason to consider it. But your latest choice to take your three year old son to Las Noches instead of rescuing his mother, your wife, when Aizen caught her again is just one more notch in your slew of actions against those vows and anything similar you have made in your existence. As well as any sense of decency that you have deigned to demonstrate. No family belongs in Las Noches, and you should know it!”

Vale chuckled as he glanced over his shoulder. "You...are a foolish old man. You repeat yourself as if you've learned nothing over your many years. Juushiro Ukitake, you know as well as I do that Kita no more gave into Aizen than you would. Kita does not stay in Las Noches for me. Or, because Kadaj is there. She stays because, and you know this to be true deep in your heart, that she craves the dark. She's merely giving into it."
"Then, it seems you do not know your wife as well as you think you do." snapped Kisuke.
Again, Vale chuckled as he turned his attention back to Urahara. "No? I believe I know my wife quite well. I seem to be the only one among us that understands that, even now, she's not chosen a side. She dwells where her heart desires. But, she's not on Aizen's side." Vale's eyes locked onto Urahara's. "And, she's not on yours." Vale turned back toward Ukitake. "Why are you here, old man? You are not always the voice of reason. And, please don't tell me that it was Sojiro. If that's going to be your excuse every time the boy's reaitsu flares, then you might as well make a habit of standing right by his side. And, Yumiko. There's absolutely no reason for you to be here. So, consider it a courtesy that I am even addressing you."
Vale shook his head as he grinned. He turned his attention back toward Urahara as he tilted his head to the side. "Farewell, Captain."

“And there’s no reason for me to explain it to you, either,” Yumiko answered succinctly.
“You can call me foolish if you wish, Seto Tetsuya, Vale Tervaden, whatever mask it is that you wish to wear, but Sojiro was with me before the alarm went off. There is also a reason I repeat things. Nothing good has happened out of Las Noches. You’ve raped both of the women you claimed to have cared for there, something even Ichimaru didn’t do. And your wife nearly lost her identity because she was dragged there multiple times. That is merely the history of a few. Yet, you’re choosing to drag your son through it, and by relation, Sojiro, once again. Fate or not, that’s cruel even for you. So yes, I will look after him, weakened body or not.”

Kisuke heard Vale scoff at what Yumiko and Juushiro said, before he disappeared, his hand sliding under his hat as he scratched his head. He looked out at the two, Juushiro and Yumiko, shaking his head. “I thank you for the support, but neither of you should be here.” He made a path toward them.
Looking pointedly at Juushiro, “Especially you, old friend. What are you doing out and about? Does Isane know about this?”
Juushiro chuckled lightly as he nodded his head. “Yes, she said it would do me good to get some fresh air.”
“Fresh air. Key word here. She said get some fresh air. Not go chase down notoriously, dangerous people.”
“What about Soji? What are we going to do about him?” Yumiko asked.
Kisuke chuckled as he looked her way, placing a gentle hand to her shoulder. “We young lady--Are doing nothing. Kita will find him and send him home. Maybe Sojiro will get lucky and find his old man. Wherever that is that Kadaj sent Sojiro.”
“Do you think that is possible?” Juushiro asked him as he stammered slightly.
Kisuke reacted quickly and caught him as his arm slid around his friend’s torso and supported him. The two looked at one another as Juushiro only smiled. Kisuke sighing then gave a soft chuckle. “You’re as bullhead as ever,” the two chuckled in unison. “And to your question. Yes, I think if anyone can find that sly bastard Ichimaru, it’s his own kit.” Kisuke adjusted Juushiro within his grip.
“Come on let’s get you back to the medical ward. All this 'so called' fresh air is starting to get to you.” They started a path toward the fourth division.
