Suzume nodded, closing the book she had been clutching so tightly. It showed along the back and front cover. She tilted her head and looked at the worn book. "A new copy... maybe." She turned to leave the office and then turned around, tripping over a chair. Sitting up and fixing her glasses, she reached into a drawer for a small item, neatly wrapped. "Momo-chan ...."
Her eyes hardened and she started shaking. "I will get revenge."--- It was moments later when Rangiku and Toshiro meet back at the office then headed to the Senkaimon to go to the human realm. On the way the two shared light chitchat between them.Moved

"308":Toshiro slid the door to his office open. The room was dark, except for a bit of moonlight seeping through the window. A glimmer caught his eyes, as he walked over to his desk. His eyes widened as he drew closer.
There, on his desk and covered in blood, lay the necklace of his Lieutenant. He reached for the bloody chain, hesitating before picking it up. The chain rattled in his hand.
"Ran..."
Toshiro turned around quickly, letting his hand fall to the hilt of his zanpakuto. "What...What did you do to her?"

Vale raised his hands as he stepped from the shadows. "I didn't." He took a step backward as the Captain drew his blade and placed it beneath his chin. "I didn't! I brought you the damn necklace, Captain. Why would I do that, if I killed her?"
"She's...She's dead?" Toshiro's leg buckled beneath him, as he took a step back. "You killed her? You killed her!" Tears began to well in his eyes, as he pushed his blade forward nicking Vale's chin.
"I did not kill her!" Vale looked at the blade at his chin. "Gin did..."

"Liar!" Toshiro took a quick step forward, pushing his blade forward until its edge was against his neck. "He wouldn't. He is no saint. But, he did care for her! Loved her! He would not kill her."
"But, he did!" snapped Vale. "Aizen gave him a choice. Kill Kita or kill Rangiku. Before Aizen could even sealed his lips to complete his sentence, Ichimaru had drawn Shinsou. He tore the woman to pieces, Captain." Vale shook his head, leaning against the wall behind him. His sighed, his breath visible as the room chilled.
"I delight in the sounds of chaos and destruction, Captain. But, this may be the one time I would prefer the world be silent." Vale raised a hand, laying a hand to the blade at his neck and pushing it away.
Toshiro shook, tightening his hand around the freezing chain in his hand. His tear froze on his cheek, as the cold worsened. "No..." he whispered. "No..."

Vale pushed off the wall, briefly loosing his footing to the ice forming on the floor. He placed a hand to the Captain's shoulder, and squeezed gently. "I am sorry for your loss, Toshiro. But, Ichimaru is as cruel as Aizen. And, even more selfish. I know, right now, you want to kill the bastard."
"But, no more than I do. He nearly killed Kita afterwards, when she tried to help Rangiku. And, I'm going to kill that bastard to what he...did to Yumiko."

Toshiro grunted, shunping into Vale and pushing him into the wall. "Shut up!" Chunks of ice formed over Toshiro's fists. "Shut up! Shut up!" Toshiro hammered into Vale, the ice adding weight to his already powerful punches.
Vale's body buckled and broke beneath the punches. "I don't believe you. I don't believe you! Where is Rangiku? Where is she?"
Toshiro called on the power of Hyroninmaru, as ice began to form around Vale's body pinning him against the wall. "She wouldn't leave me..."

Vale broke free of the ice, blood running down his face and Chinmoku drawn. "I am not against you, Captain! She should not have died. Not that way." Vale walked over to Toshiro, as slowly as he could, as the Captain fell to his knees. He presented Chinmoku to the Captain.
"I am not against you. I'm here to help you."
Members of the Tenth Division barged into their Captain's office, blades drawn. Vale stood immediately, hands raised.

Toshiro rose to his feet, turning to face the members of his division. "Stand down." They hesitated, blades still pointed at Vale. Toshiro tossed the man his blade. "I'm going to kill him myself!"
A wall of ice formed, separating himself and Toshiro from the men of his division. "Reign over the frosted heavens, Hyroninmaru!"

Vale unleashed Chinmoku to combat the raging Hyorininmaru. His eyes scanned the small room, before turning to the Captain. Grunting, Vale turned the hilt of his blade against his forearm prompting the swirling Chinmoku to form a sphere.
"Listen to me, Captain!" shouted Vale, his voice barely above the raging zanpakuto. "I am not against you. But, if you fight me, I will not hold back."
Toshiro and his zanpakuto motioned forward.
"So be it..." Chinmoku shattered. The shattering sphere forced the Captain through the wall behind him. "Nisshoku..." growled Vale. The area was filled with a blinding white light, as temperatures began to rise to unbearable levels. The members of the Tenth Division collapsed from heat, as Vale moved toward the Captain.
Vale motioned for Chinmkou toward the Captain. It swirled around the Captain keeping him in his place.

Toshiro's eyes narrowed at the swirling mass around him. He wiped away the tears as they ran down his face. He couldn't think straight. He didn't want to. His Lieutenant was gone. No.
"Rangiku, you fool." whispered Toshiro. "You were supposed to be here until the end. To see me through...everything." He looked to the necklace still in his hand, the charm dangling. "You weren't supposed to leave me..." A tear fell to the chain. "Please, come back..."
Chinmoku calmed as the Captain remained still. He reformed Chinmoku as a familiar face stepped behind the Captain. Sighing, Vale sheathed his blade.
Toshiro fell to his knees as a hand found his shoulder. He raised his hand, opening it slowly, showing the reason for his distress.

The Captain Commander nodded, squeezing the shaking shoulder beneath his calloused, wrinkled hands. Sighing, he closed his eyes. I am not old enough to deal with this again.
Flaring his reiatsu, he stepped forwards, letting his best friend behind him continue to cool the temperature around him and take his place by the genius captain. No amount of genius will fix this. His eyes narrowed, eyes going from warm regret to cold anger, as he walked towards the capital traitor, Tervaden.
Stormy obsidian met dazed slate. “If you so much as step in the wrong direction, Tervaden, it won’t be someone else or a spell that sheathes your life. It will be me. And you won't get any sort of a trial beforehand. If I deem your life forfeit again, Tervaden, you will die. Now give me your blade.”

Vale shook his head, pulling his zanpakuto from his obi. He presented it to the Commander. "You people and you tempers. I came to deliver the news and the necklace to your Captain. But, her death didn't happen by my hands."
The Captain Commander stepped forward, taking the sheathed blade from Vale.
"This was an unnecessary death, Shunsui. People die in war. But, this...this was methodical. Aizen used it to get something from Ichimaru. And, he got it." Vale shrugged. "Your forgiven Ichimaru hacked this women to pieces until there was nothing left of her. This, before nearly killing Kita and after raping Yumiko! You may not believe me. But-"
The Commander raised his hand, silencing Tervaden. "I believe you. But, until this can be sorted out, you will be placed under my watch and care. Do you understand?"
Vale's eyes narrowed slightly. "Sure?"

Immediately after, Shunsui wrenched him up by the collar of his kimono, bringing them within inches of each other. “You’re going to sit quietly where I put you and wait. If you somehow take your own life again, I will burn the ashes. If you flee due to some misplaced guidance, you are going into the Maggot’s Nest. And finally, if your blade so much as moves from my waist, until I decide otherwise, be in Espada or Ayakashi or your fucking god, I will personally see you sealed so tightly you won’t even be able to breathe without the seals knowing it. This is your LAST chance, Tervaden.”
He paused. "And after what you have done, you're lucky you have a brother who drives a hard argument. You're not forgiven, but you may get another chance due to his voice."
He stepped away from the man. "Much like Ichimaru did because of the voices of two brave lieutenants."
He looked to Juushiro, asking a silent question, and the man nodded. Sighing, Shunsui turned back to his new 'guest'. "Well?" he asked.

Vale raised a brow. "I think you're being a dick right now. But, okay." He shrugged, shoving is hands deep in his pockets. "I want Ichimaru dead for what he did to my Ro-...My brother?!" Vale pushed the Commander away.
Sighing heavily, adjusting his jacket and cocking his head to the side. "You're an ass."
"Am I?" asked the god, appearing behind the Captain Commander. He crossed his arms over his chest, as time stopped for all else outside of himself and Tervaden. "What games are you playing, Tervaden?"
"What game are you playing?"
The god smiled, fading away as time began again.
"Tervaden!" snapped the Captain Commander. "Have I made myself clear?"
"Annoyingly so." Vale looked to the Captain, still mourning his loss. "If it means anything, Captain. She died quickly."

Juushiro sighed and let the younger captain lean on him. How far would Aizen’s shadow stretch out from Las Noches before the seven years of restraint set out by the Soul King? And…. would their preparations be enough? Setting aside another pang of worry, he looked to Tervaden, dark green eyes grave. “Your work here is done, Tervaden. Thank you for the effort.”
